The Timberwolves recalled Dillingham from the G League's Iowa Wolves on Thursday.
Dillingham hasn't played in the NBA since Dec. 23 due to a right ankle sprain but returned to action in the G League on Monday. The rookie guard will likely compete for depth minutes in Minnesota's backcourt, as he is averaging 4.1 points and 1.8 assists in 10.1 minutes across his previous 10 NBA appearances.

Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Drops 28 against Golden State
Edwards finished Wednesday's 116-115 loss to the Warriors with 28 points (7-19 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 10-11 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 41 minutes.
The fifth-year guard tied Donte DiVincenzo for the team scoring lead, but it wasn't quite enough. Edwards continues to impress from beyond the arc -- he's drained at least four three-pointers in six of the last seven games, averaging 32.4 points, 6.3 boards, 5.1 threes, 5.0 assists and 1.4 steals over that stretch while shooting 48.0 percent from long distance.

Timberwolves' Donte DiVincenzo: Pops for season-high 28 in loss
DiVincenzo ended Wednesday's 116-115 loss to Golden State with 28 points (9-19 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 39 minutes.
Facing the team he spent the 2022-23 campaign with, DiVincenzo has himself a revenge game and set a new season scoring high while tying Anthony Edwards for the team lead. DiVincenzo has started six straight games for Minnesota with Mike Conley moved to the bench, and the younger guard doesn't seem inclined to give the job back. Over that stretch, DiVincenzo is averaging 17.5 points, 5.3 boards, 4.7 assists, 4.0 threes and 1.5 steals while shooting 42.1 percent from long range.

Conley totaled seven points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block over 20 minutes during Monday's 120-106 victory over the Wizards.
Conley continues to trend down from a fantasy perspective, failing to reach double figures in scoring in his fourth straight contest. The veteran floor general is averaging 7.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.2 threes in 22.0 minutes across his past five outings since being moved to Minnesota's bench. With Donte DiVincenzo playing well since heading to the first unit, Conley is starting to become a fringe hold in shallow fantasy leagues with diminished upside while with the second unit.

Timberwolves' Jaden McDaniels: Makes defensive impact Monday

Although McDaniels didn't make a major impact in the scoring department Monday, he came down with eight boards and a swat to give the Wolves a boost on the defensive end of the floor. Timberwolves' Rob Dillingham: Returns to action in G League
Dillingham (ankle) posted 22 points (9-23 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, six rebounds and three steals in 25 minutes during the Iowa Wolves' 128-114 G League loss to the Rip City Remix on Monday.
Dillingham was assigned to the G League on Sunday as the final stage of his rehab following a Grade 2 right ankle sprain, which had sidelined the rookie guard since Dec. 23. While his counting stats were strong against Rip City, Dillingham struggled from deep and committed six turnovers. However, he was Iowa's only starter with a positive point differential. It's unclear what his next step will be, but given the Timberwolves recently benched veteran point guard Mike Conley in favor of Donte DiVincenzo, Dillingham may have a chance to carve out a consistent NBA role moving forward if he can prove he's back to 100 percent.

Gobert chipped in a game-high mark in rebounds while securing his 16th double-double across 39 regular-season appearances. The big man has been efficient of late, shooting 80.0 percent from the field over his last three outings. However, Gobert's numbers have dropped considerably this year, and he is on pace to average his lowest points per game (10.1) since the 2015-16 campaign, as well as his lowest rebounds per game (10.5) since the 2014-15 season.

Edwards supplied 41 points (14-25 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 8-8 FT), seven assists, six rebounds, three steals and one block in 36 minutes during Monday's 120-106 win over the Wizards.
The superstar shooting guard posted game highs in points and assists while tying Naz Reid and Kyle Kuzma for the game-high mark in steals. Edwards also logged his second-highest scoring outing of the season behind his 53-point performance against Detroit on Jan. 4, and he scored 20 of his 41 points in the fourth quarter Monday. Moreover, the 23-year-old logged his 15th game with five or more triples, and he is on pace to shoot a career-high 42.2 percent from beyond the arc. Edwards also stuffed the stat sheet on the defensive end, racking up multiple steals for the 15th time through 39 regular-season appearances.

Timberwolves' Terrence Shannon: Out 2-to-4 weeks
Minnesota announced Monday that Shannon will miss the next 2-to-4 weeks after being diagnosed with a Grade 2 mid-foot sprain.
Shannon will be re-evaluated in two weeks, at which point fantasy managers can expect an update on his progress. Shannon hasn't received many minutes at the NBA level, so his absence isn't expected to impact the rotation.
