  • Bucks' Terence Davis: With Bucks for camp

Davis (Achilles) signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Bucks on Wednesday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

A five-year NBA veteran, Davis is rehabbing a ruptured Achilles he sustained Jan. 4. There was optimism shortly after the injury that he'd be healthy in time for training camp. While Wednesday's signing indicates he may be ready to go, there haven't been any official updates on his recovery. Davis averaged 6.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 13.1 minutes per game in 2022-23 with Sacramento. He spent the 23-24 campaign in the G League.

  • Bucks' Andre Jackson: Fully healthy

Jackson (finger) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

Jackson had a setback-free recovery from a fractured third finger on his left hand, which he suffered in Summer League. He joins a fully healthy Milwaukee squad with the exception of the ramping-up Khris Middleton (ankles).

  • Bucks' Khris Middleton: Trending in right direction

Middleton (ankles) participated in everything except live scrimmages at practice Wednesday, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.

Per coach Doc Rivers, Middleton even snuck into a few scrimmage sequences despite not being cleared to do so, potentially alluding to the 33-year-old craving some live action and feeling physically sharp. Coach Rivers added that Middleton participated in "probably 60 percent of the practice, maybe more," so his outlook for the remainder of training camp is very positive.

  • Bucks' Gary Trent: Expected to start

Trent is expected to have a spot in Milwaukee's starting lineup to open the season, Evan Sidery of Forbes.com reports.

Trent has an inside track to be Milwaukee's starting shooting guard, and his offensive contributions will be critical if Khris Middleton (ankles) is limited to start the season. Trent will likely be asked to fill a similar role as Malik Beasley last year while coming with a better defensive reputation.

  • Bucks' Khris Middleton: Limited to start training camp

Middleton (ankle) will be limited once training camp starts on Oct. 1, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.

Middleton underwent procedures on both ankles during the offseason but hasn't been cleared for five-on-five action yet, meaning the team will take a cautious approach to his recovery process. With training camp commencing Oct. 1, the Bucks want to do everything possible to ensure Middleton will be available for the start of the regular season in late October. Middleton was limited to 55 regular-season games in 2023-24 and produced averages of 15.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.7 three-pointers per contest.

  • Bucks' Ibou Badji: Heading to Milwaukee

The Bucks signed Badji to an Exhibit 10 deal Friday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Badji will have the opportunity to make the Bucks' NBA roster on a non-guaranteed deal during fall training camp, although he likely will end up with the club's G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd. The 21-year-old registered 22 regular-season appearances with Portland last season, during which he averaged 1.5 points and 2.3 rebounds across 10.3 minutes per game.
