Davis drops 44, Pelicans win 2OT thriller

The New Orleans Pelicans almost suffered the worst loss of the season against the Nets. Up by 28 at one point in the third quarter, the Pelicans squandered that entire lead, but were able to come away with the win after two overtime periods. Anthony Davis finished with 44 points and 17 rebounds, while Rajon Rondo recorded a triple-double with 25 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists.

Allen Crabbe had a big night in defeat for the Nets, hitting eight 3s on the way to 28 points.

I.T. gets 22 points in first game with Lakers

After a brief stint in Cleveland, Isaiah Thomas made his Lakers debut on Saturday night. He came off the bench, but it didn't take him long to get his first basket. In the middle of the third quarter, Thomas came off the screen and hit a 3.

Thomas finished the night with 22 points on 7 of 12 shooting and six assists.

Giannis makes a poster, leads Bucks over Magic

Bismack Biyombo is a tough interior defender, but that did not faze Giannis Antetokounmpo, who took it right at the Magic big man and threw down the powerful slam.

Along with the dunk, the Bucks star finished with 32 points, five rebounds and five assists to lead the Bucks over the Magic.

Klay rocks the rim in Warriors' win over Spurs

Klay Thompson is known primarily for his shooting ability, but he showed on Saturday night that he has some hops as well, throwing down a nice slam in transition. 

Thompson also hit plenty of 3s on Saturday night, knocking down five of them en route to a 25-point night in the Warriors' win over the Spurs.

Dirk throws it down, leads Mavs over Lakers

Dirk Nowitzki may be pushing 40 years old, but the big German can still slam. Don't believe it? Check the video for yourself. The big man finished with a season-high 22 points in the Mavericks' win over the Lakers.

Simmons and Embiid each turn defense into offense in Sixers win

The Sixers' youngsters copied each other on Saturday night, each turning strong defensive plays into impressive baskets on the other end. The duo combined for 43 points, 21 rebounds, 12 assists and four blocks in the win over the Clippers.

Payton impressive in Suns debut

Elfrid Payton made his debut with the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night. Although the team lost, Payton had a strong game, finishing with 19 points, six rebounds and nine assists.

Kleber throws it down

Maxi Kleber had a solid night off the bench for the Mavs, scoring nine points and grabbing four rebounds in 14 minutes. He also may have had the play of the game, driving in for a ferocious slam.

Jokic gets crafty

Nikola Jokic has plenty of tricks up his sleeve, as he reminded the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night. Driving to the basket, he wrapped the ball behind his back before completing the and-one.

Satoransky has career night, takes nasty fall

Tomas Satoransky has been playing well since John Wall went down, and he kept that up against the Bulls. The Czech guard put up a career-high 25 points in the Wizards' win, but was knocked out of the game after getting fouled hard by Bobby Portis. The Bulls forward was ejected for the flagrant.

DAJ takes flight

The Clippers' big man saw an open lane and took advantage, soaring to the rim for the impressive "Statue of Liberty" dunk.

AD beats the buzzer from deep

Anthony Davis ended the first quarter in style, knocking down a heave from near halfcourt.
