Flyers' Yegor Zavragin: Earns fifth win of KHL season
Zavragin stopped 28 of 30 shots in SKA St. Petersburg's 3-2 win over Dynamo Moscow in the KHL on Saturday.
Zavragin has gone 5-5-0 this season, but he has a strong 2.53 GAA and .923 save percentage. He's not getting a starter's workload, but he has some time to continue developing. His KHL contract runs through the end of 2026-27, though the Flyers have had some success encouraging prospects from Russia to leave for North America early. That said, it would likely benefit the 20-year-old goalie to continue playing on a strong KHL team rather than with AHL Lehigh Valley at this point in his career.

Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Barely busy in overtime loss
Ersson made 10 saves in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Senators on Saturday.
The Senators went to sleep and had no shots between 12:09 of the second and 18:34 of the third. Ersson faced just seven shots after the first period, but somehow came away with the defeat. He's 2-1-2 with a 3.03 GAA and an .864 save percentage in five starts this season.

Nesbitt had his best game of the season in this win. He's up to six goals and 10 assists through 14 appearances for the Spitfires this season. The Flyers prospect also has 44 shots on net and a plus-6 rating so far. Nesbitt continues to be a creative player who should have a future in Philadelphia in a few years.

Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Facing Senators
Ersson will patrol the home crease versus Ottawa on Saturday.
Ersson came off injured reserve for Thursday's game against Nashville after missing four contests due to a lower-body injury. He backed up Dan Vladar on Thursday and will make his first start since Oct 28, when he turned aside 24 shots in a 3-2 win over Pittsburgh. The Senators are generating 3.43 goals per game this season, good for eighth in the NHL.

Flyers' Jack Murtagh: Scores in BU win
Murtagh scored a goal in Boston University's 3-2 win over Merrimack College on Friday.
Murtagh has been fairly steady this season with three goals and three assists over 10 games for the Terriers to begin his freshman season. The 18-year-old winger is a Flyers prospect, selected in the second round of the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. He is a player who can provide decent scoring but is more likely to be a supplementary part of an NHL offense rather than a superstar in the long run.

Grundstrom has three goals and six points in 11 appearances with AHL Lehigh Valley in 2025-26. He's a veteran of 292 regular-season NHL outings, with his latest work at the top level coming with San Jose last year. He had three goals, nine points and 24 PIM in 56 appearances with the Sharks in 2024-25. Grundstrom's promotion gives Philadelphia 13 healthy forwards on the roster. Kolosov is expected to be sent down to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports.
Kolosov finds himself as the odd man out now that Samuel Ersson has returned from a lower-body injury. In his two appearances for the Flyers this year, the 23-year-old Kolosov has gone 0-1-0 despite a solid 1.62 GAA and .929 save percentage. If he can keep playing at that level in the minors, Kolosov could force the Flyers to bring him back up at some point. For now, it will be Dan Vladar and Ersson splitting the workload in Philadelphia.

York has four points, a goal and three assists, over his last two games. The 24-year-old defenseman is handling a massive role on the Flyers' top pairing while playing in all situations, which has led to him finally looking like he'll reach the potential he first showed in 2023-24. Through 11 appearances, York has a goal, eight helpers, seven shots on net, 24 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating. He needs just one more power-play point to match his career high in that category from his aforementioned career-best year, and it's safe to assume his production will continue to grow from there.

Cates has a goal and four helpers over his last six games. While he's been steady on offense from a middle-six role -- getting on the scoresheet in 10 of 14 contests -- Cates has yet to produce a multi-point performance this year. He's at four goals, six helpers, 29 shots on net, 11 hits, 10 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating while seeing ice time in all situations. If that kind of usage continues, the 26-year-old is a virtual lock to top his career-high 38-point effort from 2022-23.

He's talented, so fantasy managers would be wise to have patience with the winger in most formats.

Konecny had a hand in Noah Cates' go-ahead goal late in the second period before adding an empty-netter in the third. After going nearly a full month without a multi-point effort, Konecny has earned one in each of the last two games. He has four goals and four helpers during a six-game point streak, giving him 12 points, 35 shots on net, 23 hits, 11 PIM, 10 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating across 14 appearances. Konecny's quality offense and decent contributions across the board make for a steady profile in fantasy.

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Steady in win
Vladar allowed one goal on 24 shots in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Predators.
Vladar gave up a goal on a deflection with traffic in front of the net just 1:44 into the game. After that, the 28-year-old provided steady netminding to come away with his third win in his last four outings, two of which have been victories over Nashville. For the season, Vladar is at a 6-3-0 record with a 2.18 GAA and a .917 save percentage over nine starts. Samuel Ersson (lower body) was activated from injured reserve and served as the backup goalie Thursday, and it could be Ersson between the pipes Saturday versus the Senators. Prior to Ersson's injury, he and Vladar were splitting the workload, though Vladar did fine as the primary starter over the last week.

While Ersson is back on the Flyers' roster, Dan Vladar is expected to start Thursday in Nashville. Ersson could be back between the pipes as soon as Saturday's home matinee game versus the Senators. With Ersson healthy, it's safe to assume Aleksei Kolosov's playing time will drop, or Kolosov could be sent to AHL Lehigh Valley in a later move.
