Red Wings' J.T. Compher: Nets goal during early barrage
Compher scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Kraken.
Compher picked up his first point in five games in January when he scored to put the Red Wings ahead 2-0 in the first period. His goal came just 11 seconds after Marco Kasper opened the scoring. Compher is up to six tallies, 20 points, 52 shots on net, 30 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-1 rating through 41 appearances in a middle-six role.

Red Wings' Vladimir Tarasenko: Back on scoresheet Sunday
Tarasenko banked two assists, one on the power play, in Sunday's 6-2 win over Seattle.
Tarasenko snapped a four-game point drought with the helpers Sunday. The Russian winger hadn't produced a multi-point outing since Nov. 29, a span of 19 games. Tarasenko's lack of consistent production can be attributed to his current third-line role -- sans a spot in the top six, the 33-year-old's offensive contributions will most likely continue to be sporadic over the second half of the campaign. The two-time Stanley Cup champion has chipped in four goals and 16 points over 41 games this season.

Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Nabs two apples against Seattle
Raymond provided two assists, one on the man advantage, in Sunday's 6-2 win over Seattle.
Raymond helped out on goals by Marco Kasper and Alex DeBrincat in the victory. The 22-year-old Raymond has gotten on the scoresheet in four consecutive games, generating two goals and six helpers during that stretch. In his last eight games, the Swedish winger has recorded five multi-point performances and has been held off the scoresheet only once. Raymond is spearheading Detroit's offensive output in 2024-25 with 17 goals and 46 points through 42 contests.

Red Wings' Alex DeBrincat: Extends point streak Sunday
DeBrincat potted a power-play goal on three shots in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Kraken.
DeBrincat chased Philipp Grubauer from the contest with a power-play marker at 6:16 of the first period. The 27-year-old DeBrincat is riding a seven-game point streak consisting of six goals and five assists. He's up to 19 goals and 36 points through 42 appearances this season. The right-shot winger will try to stretch his point streak to eight games in a favorable home matchup against the Sharks on Tuesday.

Red Wings' Patrick Kane: All over scoresheet again Sunday
Kane potted his 10th goal of the season and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Kraken.
Kane has been on a tear of late, accumulating five goals and eight helpers during his ongoing seven-game point streak, with five multi-point performances over that span. The three-time Stanley Cup winner has been held off the scoresheet only once since Todd McLellan took over as head coach Dec. 27. The coaching change has injected life into the Wings, as their top players have played with purpose during a seven-game winning streak that began Dec. 29. Kane ranks fourth on the team in points with 10 goals and 17 assists through 37 appearances in 2024-25.

Red Wings' Marco Kasper: Two more points Sunday
Kasper potted an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Sunday's 6-2 win over Seattle.
Kasper scored the first of three goals that chased Philipp Grubauer from the contest early in the first period. Kasper has produced back-to-back multi-point efforts after being held off the scoresheet in 15 prior outings. The Austrian forward is currently skating alongside Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond, so Kasper could be a worthy pickup if he can maintain his top-line role. The 20-year-old Kasper is up to four goals and seven assists through 37 appearances in 2024-25.

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Racking up points in January
Larkin scored a power-play goal on three shots and added an assist Sunday in a 6-2 win over the Kraken.
Larkin set up Marco Kasper at even strength to open the scoring in the first period before netting his team-leading 10th power-play marker of the campaign in the middle frame. Larkin is on fire through five games in January, racking up five goals, eight points and a plus-2 rating. The 28-year-old center has been held off the scoresheet only once since Todd McLellan took over as head coach Dec. 27. Larkin's at 18 goals and 19 assists through 42 games, trailing only Lucas Raymond (46) for the team lead in points.

Red Wings' Moritz Seider: Banks pair of apples Sunday
Seider posted two power-play assists in Sunday's 6-2 win over Seattle.
Seider recorded secondary assists on power-play goals by Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Larkin in a blowout victory Sunday. Seider added four shots, two hits, one blocked shot and a minus-1 rating in a team-high 23:31 of ice time. While the 23-year-old has been productive in January with six helpers through five games, he hasn't found the back of the net since Dec. 14. Nevertheless, Seider's consistency is commendable, and in his fourth NHL campaign, the German blueliner has never missed a game, which is even more impressive. Seider is up to four goals, 26 points and an even plus-minus rating through 42 outings.

Red Wings' Erik Gustafsson: Two points in victory
Gustafsson potted a power-play goal and added a helper Sunday in a 6-2 win over Seattle.
Gustafsson registered the primary assist on Patrick Kane's first-period goal, and the defenseman netted his first power-play marker of the season early in the middle frame. This was Gustafsson's first multi-point effort in 2024-25. He has two goals through five games in January after failing to find the back of the net through the first three months of the season. The left-shot blueliner appears to have cemented his place in the lineup after being a periodic healthy scratch up until Dec. 5. He's chipped in two goals and 11 points through 34 appearances.

Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Stacking up wins in January
Talbot made 31 saves on 33 shots in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Kraken.
Talbot was never in much danger of losing Sunday, as the Red Wings scored 3:22 into the game and led 6-1 after the second period. The veteran netminder lost his last four games in December, but he's opened the new calendar year with a 4-0-0 record while turning aside 85 of 96 shots in that span. Coach Todd McLellan has done wonders for Motor City since being hired Dec. 27 -- the Red Wings are currently riding a seven-game winning streak. Talbot improved to 10-9-2 with a .903 save percentage and a 2.98 GAA through 23 appearances this season. Alex Lyon is dealing with an upper-body injury, so Talbot could draw the start again in Tuesday's home matchup versus the Sharks.

Talbot's riding a three-game winning streak despite posting a subpar .857 save percentage in that span. Overall, the 37-year-old Talbot is 9-9-2 with a .901 save percentage and 3.03 GAA this year.

Red Wings' Alex Lyon: Unavailable Sunday
Lyon (upper body) will not dress against Seattle on Sunday, according to Daniella Bruce of the Red Wings' official site.
Lyon skated prior to practice Saturday. He was injured Tuesday against the Senators. Lyon is 8-5-0 with a 2.71 GAA and a .902 save percentage this season. He could return as early as Tuesday against the Sharks.

Holl registered an assist, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Holl has two helpers over four contests in January. The 32-year-old blueliner hasn't typically generated much offense, picking up just five points with 14 shots on net and a minus-3 rating over 33 appearances. He's added 19 hits and 39 blocked shots. Holl's spot in the lineup appears to be safe until Jeff Petry (undisclosed) is ready to be activated from injured reserve.
