Bruins' Matthew Poitras: Hands out assist in win
Poitras notched an assist in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Lightning.
Poitras was able to get on the scoresheet in his first NHL contest since Nov. 9. The Bruins' offense has sputtered for much of the season, so the 20-year-old might be able to provide a bit more than other players have in a bottom-six role. He has five points, 11 shots on net and a minus-3 rating over 15 appearances and is likely to stay in a third-line role for the time being.

Bruins' Nikita Zadorov: Sends helper in win
Zadorov logged an assist, four hits, three blocked shots, seven PIM and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Lightning.
Zadorov has two helpers, 21 hits, 13 blocked shots and 13 PIM over his last five contests. The 29-year-old defenseman is poised to take on a larger role while Charlie McAvoy (undisclosed) is on injured reserve, though Zadorov's physicality and subsequent penalties for roughing and fighting cost him some time in this contest. He has 11 points, 56 shots on net, 57 blocked shots, 89 PIM and 128 hits through 46 appearances this season, so he'll need to supplement his non-scoring numbers with a little more offense to have widespread fantasy appeal.

Bruins' Parker Wotherspoon: Finally nets first NHL goal
Wotherspoon scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Lightning.
The first-period tally was Wotherspoon's first NHL goal, coming in his 76th appearance over three seasons. The 27-year-old blueliner has just two points, 18 shots on net, 30 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 23 outings in 2024-25. He's been a part-time player for much of this campaign, but he could get steadier playing time until one of Charlie McAvoy (undisclosed) or Hampus Lindholm (lower body) can return to bolster Boston's blue line.

Bruins' Trent Frederic: Tallies in Tuesday's win
Frederic scored a goal, added two hits and logged a fighting major in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Lightning.
Frederic has earned three points and 14 PIM over seven games in January. This was the first time since Dec. 31 that he finished a contest with fewer than three hits. The 26-year-old forward is up to seven goals, seven helpers, 64 shots on net, 130 hits, 42 PIM and a minus-9 rating through 46 appearances. He continues to bring grit in a third-line role, but he's unlikely to match last year's success on offense when he had 40 points over 82 regular-season outings.

Bruins' Andrew Peeke: Rare multi-point effort
Peeke scored a shorthanded empty-net goal on four shots, added an assist, went plus-4 and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Lightning.
The goal was Peeke's first of the season and the first shortie of his career. The 26-year-old defenseman is up to 10 points through 40 contests, matching his output from 38 appearances in 2023-24. Peeke has added 40 shots on net, 40 hits, 65 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating this season. He may be called on for more ice time in the absence of Charlie McAvoy (undisclosed), though Peeke is likely to remain a bottom-four blueliner.

Bruins' Brad Marchand: Couple points in win
Marchand delivered a goal and an assist Tuesday in a 6-2 win over Tampa Bay.
Marchand's output has dipped slightly this season, but he's still on pace to top 60 points. If successful, Marchand will have 10 consecutive 60-point campaigns. He can help, especially in formats that count shots. Marchand is on pace for close to 250 shots.

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Snaps eight-game goal streak
Zacha scored a goal and added two assists in a 6-2 win over Tampa Bay on Tuesday.
The goal snapped an eight-game goal drought. Zacha's 10 goals put him in a four-way tie for third on the Bruins with Morgan Geekie, Justin Brazeau and Charlie Coyle. He's struggled this season, and he's on pace to barely scrape into the low 40s in points. Zacha had a career-high 59 last season and 57 the year before.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Season-high save total in win
Swayman made 43 saves in a 6-2 win over Tampa Bay on Tuesday.
He set a new season-high for saves with the victory. Swayman played huge at times to keep a busy Bolt offense at bay. Since Christmas, the netminder has started in eight games -- more than any other netminder in the NHL. He has a .925 save percentage in that span.

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Twenty points in last 15 games
Pastrnak had a goal and two assists in a 6-2 win over the Lightning on Tuesday.
It's the second straight, three-point game for Pasta, who has 48 points (20 goals, 28 assists) in 46 games, along with 187 shots. Pastrnak has also provided 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists) in his last 15 games. It's great to see him pick up his pace. The Bruins still need to find him a better pivot, but there's time before the deadline.

Bruins' Cole Koepke: Hurt in Tuesday's contest
Koepke (undisclosed) suffered an injury in the third period of Tuesday's game versus the Lightning, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports.
There was no update on Koepke's status after the game. Darren Raddysh leveled Koepke with a hit that left the Boston forward injured. If Koepke can't play Saturday against the Senators, Oliver Wahlstrom will likely come back into the lineup.

Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Slated to play
Coyle (illness) is expected to play Tuesday versus the Lightning, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports.
Coyle was deemed a game-time decision earlier in the day but looks fine to play. The 32-year-old is likely to play in his usual third-line role. Oliver Wahlstrom is projected to come out of the lineup Tuesday while Matthew Poitras will also suit up after his call-up earlier in the day.

Bruins' Hampus Lindholm: Shifts to LTIR
Lindholm (lower body) was moved to long-term injured reserve Tuesday.
Lindholm will miss his 29th straight game versus Tampa Bay on Tuesday, and landing on LTIR won't impact his recovery timeline. He has been skating, but it remains unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. Boston recalled Michael Callahan in a corresponding move because Charlie McAvoy (undisclosed) landed on the IR list.

Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Availability in question Tuesday
Coyle (illness) will be a game-time decision Tuesday against Tampa Bay, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports.
Coyle has yet to miss a game this season. If the right-shot center is unable to suit up against the Lightning, Matthew Poitras, who was recalled from AHL Providence on Tuesday, would draw into the lineup. Coyle has chipped in 10 goals and 14 points through 45 appearances this season.

Bruins' Michael Callahan: Elevated from minors
Callahan was promoted from AHL Providence on Tuesday.
Callahan has yet to make his NHL debut since being selected by the Coyotes in the fifth round of the 2018 NHL Draft. A product of Providence College, the Massachusetts native has stuck around with AHL Providence, generating one goal and five assists in 35 minor-league outings. Callahan figures to serve as an emergency depth option and would likely need to edge out Parker Wotherspoon for a spot in the lineup.

Bruins' Matthew Poitras: Called up from minors
Poitras was recalled from AHL Providence on Tuesday.
Poitras' promotion could be a longer-term stint in the NHL after the Bruins placed Mark Kastelic (upper body) on injured reserve in a corresponding move. In his previous 14 NHL appearances, the 20-year-old Poitras has managed just one goal, three assists and 10 shots while averaging 12:44 of ice time. Whether Poitras suits up versus the Lightning on Tuesday will depend on the health of Charlie Coyle (illness), who is a game-time decision.

Bruins' Mark Kastelic: Moves to IR
Kastelic (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
Kastelic will not play in Tuesday's game against Tampa Bay. Kastelic's move to the IR list allowed the Bruins to recall Matthew Poitras from the minors to potentially replace Charlie Coyle, who is dealing with an illness. Coyle will be a game-time decision. Kastelic is currently day-to-day, and a timeline for his return is still unclear.

Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Lands on IR
McAvoy (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
McAvoy will sit out the next two games, starting with Tuesday's matchup versus Tampa Bay, due to a nagging injury. He has produced five goals, 20 points, 86 shots on net, 77 blocked shots and 86 hits across 45 appearances this season. Parker Wotherspoon will replace McAvoy in Tuesday's lineup.

Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Facing divisional foe Tuesday
Swayman will tend the home twine Tuesday against Tampa Bay, per Scott McLaughlin.
Swayman rebounded with a 40-save effort in Saturday's 4-3 win over Florida after starting the new calendar year with four consecutive losses. The 26-year-old has a 14-15-3 record, .895 save percentage and 2.91 GAA through 32 appearances in 2024-25. The Lightning rank first in the NHL with 3.68 goals per game.
