  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Gains 32 yards on two catches

Parkinson caught both of his targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 20-15 win over the Raiders. Parkinson saw his target total dip from 13 in the Rams' previous contest to just two against Las Vegas. The veteran tight end's production didn't suffer much after gaining just 20 less yards despite the 11-target dip. Parkinson remains a decent option at a shallow fantasy position heading into Thursday's tilt against Minnesota despite his fluctuating target total this season.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Week 7 Streamers (TE Preview)

Parkinson projects as a top-eight tight end this week if Cooper Kupp and we'll likely still be in the top 12 if Kupp plays. That's because the projections value volume and Parkinson has seen 20 targets in his last two games and actually leads the Rams with an 18.6% target share for the season. His lack of touchdowns has been bad luck as he's had a feature role in the red zone as well.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Week 7 Waiver Priority List

Keep an eye on Cooper Kupp (ankle) heading into Week 7 against the Raiders, and if he's out again then Parkinson can be worth a flier in deeper leagues. He's worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB. He had 20 targets in his past two games against the Bears and Packers, and he had seven catches for 52 yards on 13 targets against Green Bay in Week 5.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Leads Rams in targets

Parkinson recorded seven receptions on 13 targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 24-19 loss to the Packers. Parkinson was Matthew Stafford's favorite target and led the team with his 13 opportunities. He was used exclusively in the short areas of the field, as his longest gain of the day went for only nine yards. Parkinson will continue to be on the field so long as Tyler Higbee (knee) is sidelined, though his ability to command targets will take a hit once Cooper Kupp (ankle) can return -- which could be as early as Week 7.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Week 5 Streamers (TE Preview)

It's not showing up in Fantasy production yet, but Parkinson has a 23% target share in two games without Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. he also has good red zone usage. While we've seen the past two weeks that doesn't guarantee Fantasy production, it's about as good as anything else to bet on.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Modest yardage on four grabs

Parkinson brought in four of seven targets for 33 yards in the Rams' 24-18 loss to the Bears on Sunday. Parkinson tied for second in receptions and was the runner-up in targets as well on the afternoon for the Rams, who continued to operate without top two receivers Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Puka Nacua (IR, knee). The fifth-year veteran has at least three receptions in three of his first four games, but if Tyler Higbee comes off the reserve/PUP list ahead of a Week 5 home matchup against the Packers, Parkinson's role in the offense could start to diminish even if Kupp and Nacua remain out.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: TEs to Sit

Parkinson had five targets in Week 3 against San Francisco, but he finished with just three catches for 21 yards. He now has four catches for 33 yards on seven targets in his past two games, and he's not worth trusting in Week 4 against the Bears. Chicago has not allowed a tight end to eclipse 40 yards receiving in any game this year.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Week 4 Streamers (TE Preview)

In his first full game without Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, Parkinson saw a 21.7% target share from Matthew Stafford. He has two games this season with five targets, and the Rams are projected to be playing from behind.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Earns five targets

Parkinson secured three of five targets for 21 yards during Sunday's 27-24 victory against San Francisco. For the first time in his tenure in Los Angeles, Parkinson was on the field for every snap on offense. Even with Puka Nacua (knee) and Cooper Kupp (ankle) out, Parkinson saw his usual amount of attention from Matthew Stafford, albeit tying a team-high in targets with Tutu Atwell. Fellow tight end Hunter Long was on the field for 26 snaps on offense but didn't earn a target, and with Davis Allen (back) and Tyler Higbee (knee) on the mend, Parkinson will be busy again in a Week 4 showdown with Chicago.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: TEs to Sit

Parkinson should benefit with the injuries to the Rams receiving corps with Puka Nacua (knee) and Cooper Kupp (ankle) out, but this is a tough matchup to trust him against the 49ers. San Francisco hasn't exactly faced a tough matchup at tight end yet this year, but the Jets and Vikings tight ends have combined for just three catches for 18 yards on five targets in two games. Keep Parkinson on your bench in Week 3.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Manages just one catch

Parkinson secured one of two targets for 12 yards during Sunday's 41-10 loss to the Cardinals. Parkinson's stats took a step back from a solid Week 1 performance, but the entire Rams offense struggled with just 269 yards of total offense in the blowout. Cooper Kupp (ankle) almost certainly is going to miss time after being seen in a walking boot after the contest, which leaves Parkinson, Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson as the team's leading receiving options until Kupp, Puka Nacua (knee) or Tyler Higbee (knee) return from injury.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Sleeper TEs

Parkinson, not Demarcus Robinson or Tyler Johnson, might benefit the most with Puka Nacua (knee) out, and Parkinson just had four catches for 47 yards on five targets in Week 1 at Detroit. I like him as a low-end starter in Week 2 at Arizona, and hopefully, he sees a spike in targets and production since Matthew Stafford needs help with his pass catchers now that Nacua will miss time.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

Parkinson, not Demarcus Robinson or Tyler Johnson, might benefit the most with Puka Nacua (knee) out, and Parkinson just had four catches for 47 yards on five targets in Week 1 at Detroit. I like him as a low-end starter in Week 2 at Arizona, and hopefully he sees a spike in targets and production since Matthew Stafford needs help with his pass catchers now that Nacua will miss time.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Week 2 Streamers (TE Preview)

Now that Isaiah Likely has already been added everywhere, Parkinson is about as good as you're going to do as a streamer. And it's not that bad to start the guy who ran more routes than anyone else last week. Puka Nacua's absence opens some target share and an eight-point floor without a touchdown looks pretty nice at the position right now.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Week 2 Waiver Priority List

Parkinson had four catches for 47 yards on five targets in Week 1 at Detroit, and his role could expand now that Puka Nacua (knee) is on injured reserve and out for four games. Matthew Stafford should continue to lean on Parkinson, and he's worth adding in all leagues for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Solid effort in Rams debut

Parkinson finished with four receptions on five targets for 47 yards in Sunday's narrow defeat to the Lions. Parkinson signed with the Rams this past offseason to become the team's starting tight end after spending the first four years of his career with the Seahawks. The 25-year-old ceded just one target to backup Davis Allen while former starter Tyler Higbee (knee) remains on the active/PUP list with no current timetable for a potential return. Parkinson's current situation as the offensive-minded Rams' only experienced tight end puts him in a positive fantasy position for next Sunday's tilt against Arizona and potentially the first half of the regular season.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Week 1 Streamers (TE Preview)

Playing at Ford Field has been a lot like hitting at Coors Field in baseball. You should expect a bunch of points. The Rams and Lions have the highest over/under of Week 1 and Parkinson should be the lead tight end with Tyler Higbee out for Week 1. If you're streaming tight end you're basically hoping for a touchdown and you might as well aim for the highest-scoring game of the weekend if you're hoping for a touchdown.

  • Rams' Colby Parkinson: Moving elsewhere in NFC West

The Rams and Parkinson agreed to terms of a three-year, $22.5 million contract Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Parkinson thus will get a chance to serve as L.A.'s top tight end in 2024 until Tyler Higbee completes his recovery from ACL and MCL tears that he sustained in the team's wild-card loss to the Rams in January. Considering the damage to Higbee's right knee, that may result in Parkinson handling TE duties for a good portion of the upcoming campaign, assuming the Rams don't make any big splashes at the position this offseason. Parkinson was modestly productive for the Seahawks the last two seasons, combining for a 50-569-4 line on 68 targets in 34 games.

  • Seahawks' Colby Parkinson: Finishes with 247 yards

Parkinson finished the 2023 season with 25 receptions for 247 yards and two touchdowns through 17 games. Parkinson ended up playing more snaps than Will Dissly but fewer than Noah Fant (hand) as the team's No. 2 tight end, averaging 27.6 offensive snaps per game. Both Parkinson and Fant will be free agents in March, while Dissly is signed for the 2024 season, albeit with an unfavorable $10.1 million cap hit. This was Parkinson's second straight season with 25 receptions, so he'll likely be an affordable option if the Seahawks choose to keep him around.

  • Seahawks' Colby Parkinson: Finds end zone in win

Parkinson caught three of four targets for 17 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Titans. Parkinson's touchdown was his second of the season, as the veteran tight end has now recorded 20 receptions for 201 yards and two scores in 15 games this season. Despite playing less than half of No. 1 tight end Noah Fant's offensive snaps in the contest, Parkinson was far more involved in the Seahawks' passing attack. The 24-year-old Parkinson's four targets were his most since Week 6, while Fant failed to record a single target against the Titans. Despite his increased opportunities, Parkinson's fantasy utility is extremely limited heading into a Week 17 matchup against the Steelers.
