Seahawks' Jerome Baker: Notches seven stops Thursday
Baker registered seven tackles (three solo), including one for loss, and defensed a pass in Thursday's Week 6 loss to the 49ers.
Baker wasn't nearly as prolific as in Week 5, when he tallied 14 tackles against the Giants, but he was nonetheless tied for second on the team in stops against San Francisco. The veteran linebacker missed Week 3 and Week 4 due to a hamstring injury but has played all but one of Seattle's defensive snaps over the past two games. Baker has recorded 30 tackles (16 solo), including 1.0 sacks, overall through four contests on the campaign.

Seahawks' Tyrel Dodson: Posts seven stops Week 6
Dodson tallied seven tackles (five solo), including one for loss, in a defeat against the 49ers on Thursday.
Dodson has been very consistent this season with at least seven tackles in five of his six games. He's recorded 49 total stops on the season to pace Seahawks defenders. Dodson has 2.0 sacks among those tackles while adding a defensed pass and a forced fumble.

Seahawks' Julian Love: Leads team in tackles Week 6
Love posted 10 tackles (seven solo) and a defensed pass Thursday in a loss to San Francisco.
Love led the Seahawks in stops in the loss and notched his third double-digit tackle tally through six games this season. The Notre Dame alum has racked up 46 stops on the campaign, putting him on pace to challenge his career-best mark of 124 tackles, which he set with the Giants in 2022. Love also has three defensed passes, including an interception, along with a forced fumble this year.

Seahawks' Byron Murphy: Returning for Week 7?
Head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters Friday that he's optimistic Murphy (hamstring) will return for the Seahawks' Week 7 matchup against the Falcons, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Murphy has missed the Seahawks' last three games due to a hamstring injury picked up in Seattle's Week 3 win over the Dolphins. However, Macdonald's comments Friday suggest that the 2024 first-round pick is almost past the issue. Murphy's practice participation throughout next week will provide the best indication of whether he can return for Week 7.

Seahawks' Abraham Lucas: Won't return in Week 7
Head coach Mike Macdonald told reporters Friday that Lucas (knee) won't play in the Seahawks' Week 7 matchup against the Falcons, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
The third-year pro will have now missed the Seahawks' first seven games this season due to a knee issue. Macdonald added that he's hopeful Lucas can return to practice soon, which suggests a return to the field may be on the horizon. Expect Stone Forsythe to continue serving as Seattle's top right tackle until Lucas is past his knee injury.

Myers connected on a 20-yard field-goal attempt and all three extra-point tries in Thursday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers.
Myers made every kick for the first time since Week 2, but he wasn't really challenged in this outing. The veteran kicker hasn't missed an extra point since the 2022 season, and he has hit five of eight field-goal tries from beyond 40 yards.

Barner caught his lone target for 13 yards in Thursday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers.
The rookie fourth-round pick has caught just one pass in back-to-back games, and he now has seven receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown through six games. Barner and Pharaoh Brown are splitting time behind lead tight end Noah Fant, and neither player has made enough of an impact as a pass catcher to separate himself.

Shenault returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown in Thursday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers. He finished with 189 return yards.
Shenault lost a fumble on a kickoff return earlier in the game, but he made up for the mistake with a key kickoff return touchdown in the second quarter to keep the Seahawks in the game. The 2020 second-round pick has just four catches for 26 yards this season, but his special-teams acumen will remain beneficial for the Seahawks.
