Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Career-best performance in loss
Jeudy secured nine of 13 targets for 235 yards and a touchdown while adding a two-point conversion catch in the Browns' 41-32 loss to the Broncos on Monday night.
Facing the team that invested the 15th overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft in him, Jeudy ensured his return to Denver was a memorable one by recording career highs in receptions and receiving yards. Jeudy got to the latter total with a significant assist from a 70-yard touchdown reception early in the third quarter, as well as a 35-yard grab to open a possession early in the fourth quarter. The veteran wideout has displayed excellent chemistry with Jameis Winston since the latter took over the starting job, generating a 33-614-2 line on 49 targets over that five-game span. Jeudy will next take aim at a Steelers defense he generated six receptions for 85 yards against back in Week 12, as Cleveland travels to Pittsburgh for an AFC North clash on Sunday.

Browns' Jameis Winston: Career-high passing total in loss
Winston completed 34 of 58 passes for 497 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions while adding three rushes for 11 yards in the Browns' 41-32 loss to the Broncos on Monday night. He also threw a two-point conversion pass.
Winston's final line was a signature one for a quarterback who's always combined a high risk tolerance with ill-timed throws, a recipe for an abundance of both yardage and turnovers. Both came to fruition Monday night, with Winston impressively dissecting what had been a suffocating Denver secondary over the course of the game with a major assist from former Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy. Winston connected with Jeudy for 235 of his 497 yards, including a 70-yard touchdown, and he also facilitated a 100-yard performance for Elijah Moore while tallying a pair of scoring tosses to David Njoku (eight, four yards) and another to Nick Chubb (five yards). However, Winston's last two interceptions snuffed out any hope of a Cleveland victory, with Ja'Quan McMillian recording the Broncos' second pick-six of the night at the 1:48 mark of the fourth quarter to expand a 34-32 lead, and Cody Barton then snagging a pass intended for Njoku in the end zone with 44 seconds remaining. Despite the unpleasant finish for Winston and the Browns, the veteran signal-caller has raised the ceiling of Cleveland's offense several notches above what it was under Deshaun Watson, but he'll have another tough assignment on paper in a Week 14 road rematch with the Steelers.

Browns' Mike Ford: Questionable for rest of MNF
Ford (cramps) is questionable to return to Monday night's contest against the Broncos, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
Ford went down with cramps in the second half, placing his status for the remainder of the contest in question. The cornerback failed to record any stats before his departure. With Ford on the sidelines, Cameron Mitchell is a candidate to see an increased workload at cornerback.

Browns' Rodney McLeod: Likely to start sans Thornhill
McLeod is expected to start Monday's Week 13 game against Denver with Juan Thornhill inactive due to a calf injury, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Thornhill was ruled out Saturday and is officially inactive Monday, likely leaving starting duties to McLeod. The latter has made two other starts this season, logging a season-high eight tackles in both Week 5 and Week 6. When he's not starting, McLeod typically plays around half of Cleveland's defensive snaps in a rotational role.

Browns' D'Onta Foreman: Won't play in Week 13
Foreman (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday night's matchup against the Broncos.
Foreman has now been a healthy scratch in each of the Browns' last four games, with his most recent appearance coming in a Week 8 win over the Ravens. Without Foreman on Monday night, Cleveland's running back room will consist of Nick Chubb, Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong.

Browns' Kadarius Toney: Joins active roster
Toney was elevated to the Browns' active roster Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The 2021 first-round pick from Florida's elevation to the active roster ensures depth at wide receiver, with Cedric Tillman (concussion) in line to miss his second consecutive game in Monday night's matchup against the Broncos. Toney has appeared in one game for the Browns this season, playing five offensive snaps and taking one carry for minus-7 yards. He's expected to serve as a depth piece in the Browns' wide receiver corps in Week 13.

The Browns waived Zappe on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The 25-year-old quarterback from Western Kentucky joined the Browns' active roster Oct. 23 and had been serving as the team's emergency third QB before being waived Monday.
