Cushenberry (Achilles) said Monday that his recovery time is 6-8 months, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. Cushenberry went on injured reserve after suffering an Achilles injury in Week 9. He still is wearing a walking boot and has several months of recovery ahead, but he told Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com that he'll definitely be ready for training camp next summer.

  • Titans' Lloyd Cushenberry: Moves to IR

Cushenberry (Achilles) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Head coach Brian Callahan told reporters Monday that Cushenberry would be placed on IR after sustaining an Achilles injury in the Titans' Week 9 win over the Patriots, so this move comes as no surprise. Expect Daniel Brunskill to serve as Tennessee's top center while Cushenberry is sidelined for at least the Titans' next four games.

  • Titans' Lloyd Cushenberry: Likely out for season

Cushenberry is likely out for the season with an Achilles injury suffered during Sunday's 20-17 win over the Patriots, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports. The center signed a four-year, $50-million contract in the offseason after starting all 57 games he played in with Denver across his first four seasons in the NFL. Corey Levin replaced Cushenberry on Sunday, but Daniel Brunskill will probably start at center moving forward. Brunskill subbed in for injured right guard Dillon Radunz (foot) against the Patriots.

  • Titans' Lloyd Cushenberry: Moving east

Cushenberry is slated to sign a contract with the Titans on Wednesday, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports. Details of Cushenberry's new contract are not yet known, but his addition to Tennessee's roster should bolster their offensive line, which struggled in 2023. A four-year starter in Denver, the LSU product will likely take over at center for Aaron Brewer, who started all 17 games at the position for the Titans last season.
