Saints' Chase Young: Comes off PUP list
The Saints activated Young (neck) off the active/PUP list Wednesday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Young has been dealing with a nagging neck injury that's kept him sidelined since signing with the Saints, but he was spotted practicing Wednesday and it finally seems as if he's past the issue. Now that the one-time second overall pick has returned to full health, he's expected to serve as one of New Orleans' top edge rushers in 2024.

Saints' Chase Young: Passes physical
Young (neck) passed his physical Tuesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN reports.
Young should officially be good to go for practice tomorrow despite having been placed on the active/PUP list last Thursday. The 2020 first-round pick will likely serve as a rotational pass rusher behind Cameron Jordan (ankle) and Carl Granderson after signing with the team this offseason.

Saints' Chase Young: Set to practice Wednesday
Head coach Dennis Allen said Tuesday that Young (neck) will participate in practice Wednesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Young can be activated off the active/PUP list at any point during training camp to participate in practice, although it is unclear whether he will be a full participant or work with trainers. The 2020 first-round pick out of Ohio State is working through the final steps of his recovery process from his offseason neck surgery. Young recorded 25 tackles (17 solo), including 7.5 sacks, and two pass deflections over 16 regular-season games with the Commanders and 49ers in 2023.

Saints' Chase Young: Sent to PUP list by New Orleans
The Saints placed Young (neck) on the active/PUP list Thursday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Young has said he intends to be ready for the start of training camp, but for now it appears that he's still working through the recovery process following his offseason neck surgery. He can come off the PUP list at any point during training camp or the preseason, once cleared to practice, and there are still just over three weeks until New Orleans' preseason opener at Arizona. The 2020 first-round pick could emerge as a key part of the Saints' pass-rush corps for the 2024 season, health permitting.
