Panthers' Gustav Forsling: Deals helper in overtime win
Forsling notched an assist in Friday's 2-1 overtime win over Utah.
Forsling has a helper in four of the last five contests, a big improvement on the eight-game point drought that preceded this stretch. The 28-year-old defenseman still isn't getting much power-play usage -- that's going to Seth Jones and Nate Schmidt in the absence of Aaron Ekblad (suspension). Still, Forsling has earned 26 points, 171 shots on net, 82 blocked shots, 72 hits and a plus-31 rating across 72 appearances.

Panthers' Mackie Samoskevich: Helps out on power play
Samoskevich notched a power-play assist and three hits in Friday's 2-1 overtime win over Utah.
Samoskevich continues to chip in offense -- he has four goals and five assists over 12 outings in March. The 22-year-old remained on the second line Friday even with the debut of Brad Marchand. Samoskevich should be able to chip in decent scoring numbers through the end of the regular season. He's at 27 points (nine on the power play), 110 shots on net, 117 hits and a plus-1 rating over 63 appearances.

Panthers' Brad Marchand: Sets up game-winner in debut
Marchand registered an assist, four shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots in Friday's 2-1 overtime win over Utah.
Marchand returned from an 11-game absence, during which he was traded to the Panthers from the Bruins. The 36-year-old logged 16:30 of ice time in his Florida debut, and it ended with him setting up Sam Bennett on the game-winning goal. He'll likely be able to see a smaller role with the Panthers given the depth of his new team's offense. Marchand has 48 points, 179 shots on net, 68 hits, 62 PIM and a minus-7 rating over 62 appearances this season.

Panthers' Sam Bennett: Scores two goals
Bennett scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Friday's 2-1 overtime win over Utah.
Bennett broke the deadlock for the Panthers at the 2:28 mark of the second period in the power play, and he'd close things out with a backhander in the final minute of overtime. This two-goal tally lifts Bennett to 25 goals on the season, with six of those coming in the month of March. Bennett has been a consistent producer for the Panthers of late and has recorded 12 points across 12 games in the current month.

Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Starting Sunday
Bobrovsky will defend the home crease versus Montreal on Sunday, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.
Bobrovsky has won three straight games after turning aside 13 shots in a 2-1 overtime win Friday. Bobrovsky is 31-15-2 with five shutouts, a 2.43 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 48 starts this season. The Canadiens are 20th in NHL scoring, generating 2.97 goals per game.

Panthers' Brad Marchand: Expected to play Friday
Marchand (upper body) is slated to make his Panthers debut on Friday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
Marchand last played March 1 when he was still a member of the Bruins. The 36-year was dealt to Florida at the deadline and has missed the last 11 games. Marchand has 21 goals, 26 assists, 175 shots on goal and 66 hits across 61 appearances this season. He is expected to slot in on the second line alongside Mackie Samoskevich and Sam Bennett versus Utah.

Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Exits ice first
Bobrovsky was the first goalie off the ice Friday, Colby Guy of The Palm Beach Post reports, indicating he'll be in net at home versus Utah.
Bobrovsky is riding a two-game winning streak during which he's posted a 1.44 GAA, .942 save percentage and one shutout. The veteran backstop has already reached the 30-win mark for the third time in the last four years and could still match his 36-win total from 2023-24 -- though he will have to continue seeing the bulk of the starts in the lead-up to the postseason in order to get there.

Panthers' Dmitry Kulikov: Hoping to return during regular season
Kulikov (upper body) could return to the lineup during the final week of the NHL regular season, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports Thursday.
Kulikov has already missed three games due to his upper-body injury and now seems poised to be out until the closing contests of the regular season. Considering the 34-year-old defenseman has managed just 13 points in 68 games, fantasy players probably shouldn't be banking on him suddenly providing offensive upside once given the all-clear.

Panthers' Brad Marchand: Might be available for Friday
Marchand (upper body) might make his Panthers debut Friday versus Utah, per Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald.
Florida acquired Marchand from Boston on March 7, but he hasn't been able to play for the Panthers because of his injury, which occurred March 1. Marchand has 21 goals, 47 points and 62 PIM over 61 outings in 2024-25. If he does play Friday, it will probably be as part of the top six and a member of the first power-play unit. His presence would likely result in a reduction in Mackie Samoskevich's role.

Panthers' Nate Schmidt: Picks up assist Sunday
Schmidt recorded an assist in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win over the Penguins.
Schmidt ended a six-game point drought with his helper on Anton Lundell's game-tying goal in the third period. The 33-year-old Schmidt has seen steady playing time lately, drawing over 18 minutes of ice time in four straight contests. He's helping to fill the void in the absences of Aaron Ekblad (suspension) and Dmitry Kulikov (upper body), so Schmidt should continue to see a little more usage for most of the rest of the regular season. He's at 18 points, 57 shots on net, 67 hits, 50 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 69 appearances.

Panthers' Aleksander Barkov: Plays hero in shootout
Barkov dished a power-play assist and scored the game-winning tally in the shootout of Sunday's 4-3 win over Pittsburgh.
Barkov's helper came on a second-period power play where he helped linemate Sam Reinhart find the back of the net. Barkov then opened the shootout by scoring a backhand tally, which would be all the Panthers needed to win the game. Overall, the 29-year-old center has 45 assists, 64 points and 135 shots on net in 61 outings this season. Barkov currently ranks 34th in points across the league and has 10 points in his last 10 games. While he's been steady offensively as of late, his fantasy value takes a hit for the time being as the Panthers won't take the ice again until Friday versus Utah. When he does take the ice, however, Barkov is a lineup lock in all fantasy formats thanks to his elite playmaking numbers.

Panthers' Anton Lundell: Nets game-tying goal
Lundell tallied a goal, had four shots on net and dished out two hits in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win over the Penguins.
Lundell came in clutch for the Panthers with the game-tying goal in the latter half of the third period. The 23-year-old center is up to 16 goals, 42 points and 130 shots on net in 70 appearances this season. Sunday's tally ended a six-game skid without a point for Lundell, who has just seven points in his last 15 games. On the bright side, Lundell is just three points away from setting a new career-high in points. While his inconsistencies offensively make him tough to trust in fantasy, he might see more ice time if Florida elects to play their stars less ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. However, Florida has only two games this week, making Lundell less appealing for the early stretch of the fantasy playoffs.

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Lights lamp twice Sunday
Reinhart scored two goals, including one on a power play, and tallied five shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win over Pittsburgh.
Reinhart scored the opening goal of the contest before netting a power-play goal in the second period. He also had an attempt during the shootout that missed off the crossbar. The 29-year-old winger is up to 35 goals, 75 points and 192 shots on net in 71 appearances this season. Reinhart has thrived both at even strength and on the power play as of late with 11 total points and seven power-play points in his last nine contests. He is tied for 15th in points across the league and leads the Panthers by 11 over Aleksander Barkov's 64. Reinhart is likely to finish the regular season above the 80-point mark for the third time in his career.

Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Holds strong in shootout
Bobrovsky saved 24 of 27 shots on goal in Sunday's 4-3 shootout win against the Penguins.
Bobrovsky struggled early in Sunday's contest as he allowed three of the first four goals of the game. After the seven-minute mark in the second period, however, he kept Florida's net spotless throughout the rest of regulation, overtime and three shootout attempts. The 36-year-old netminder is up to a 30-15-2 record with a 2.46 GAA and a .907 save percentage. With Sunday's win, Bobrovsky is the fifth goaltender across the league to reach the 30-win threshold. He has played exceptionally well down the stretch with a 7-2-0 record and a .929 save percentage in his last nine games. He should be a lineup lock in all fantasy formats when his name is called upon for the Panthers. However, the Panthers don't play again until Friday at home versus Utah, capping his potential this week in the fantasy playoffs.

Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: In goal Sunday
Bobrovsky will patrol the home crease against Pittsburgh on Sunday, according to Doug Plagens of the Panthers Radio Network.
Bobrovsky will get the second half of Florida's back-to-back after Vitek Vanecek played in Saturday's 6-3 loss to Washington. The 36-year-old Bobrovsky has a 29-15-2 record with five shutouts, a 2.45 GAA and a .908 save percentage through 46 appearances this season. Pittsburgh sits 18th in the league with 2.94 goals per game in 2024-25.

Panthers' Nico Sturm: First point with new team
Sturm registered an assist and four hits in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Capitals.
The helper was Sturm's first point in seven contests with the Panthers. He's slotted into a fourth-line role, mostly bumping Tomas Nosek out of the lineup. Sturm is at seven goals, seven assists, 48 shots on net, 90 hits, 30 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 54 appearances between the Panthers and the Sharks, so he's not an option for most fantasy managers.
