• Dolphins' Liam Eichenberg: Back with Miami

  The Dolphins re-signed Eichenberg to a one-year contract Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Eichenberg appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Dolphins last season, making 14 starts. He played all 1,036 of his offensive snaps at right guard. Miami signed RG James Daniels in free agency earlier in the week, but both he and Eichenberg have experience along the interior of the offensive line. Fixing the offensive line is a priority for the Dolphins this offseason.

• Dolphins' Liam Eichenberg: Practices in full Wednesday

  Eichenberg (undisclosed) did not appear on Wednesday's injury report, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports. Eichenberg was sidelined during joint practices against the Texans in mid-August, as Miami coach Mike McDaniel said he was dealing with a "nagging injury." However, it appears this issue won't limit the 25-year-old heading into Sunday's season opener against the Chargers. Eichenberg should maintain his starting spot at left guard to begin the 2023 campaign.

  Eichenberg (undisclosed) will be limited in joint practices with the Texans this week, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Eichenberg is dealing with a "nagging injury," according to head coach Mike McDaniel. It's unclear how long the 25-year-old has been dealing with the injury or the specifics of it, but he'll focus more on his recovery, as opposed to preparing for Saturday's preseason game against Houston.

  Eichenberg is back in practice after sustaining a hand injury Week 18 of last season, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports. Eichenberg is now back in action after appearing in only 10 games last season due to arm and hand injuries. The 2021 second-round pick is slated to start at left guard but has also seen reps at center during OTAs.
