Bills' Taylor Rapp: Bright star in training camp
Rapp continues to work with the first-team defense during training camp and continues to make big plays while being looked to for leadership by coach Sean McDermott, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports.
With longtime stars Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde no longer in the fold, Rapp already stood a good chance of serving in a starting role entering camp. However, between his own strong play and injuries to Mike Edwards (hamstring) and Cole Bishop (shoulder), Rapp is now pretty much guaranteed to start for Week 1. Rapp put up 94 tackles and four interceptions in a starting role for the Rams in 2021, so he's worthy of the IDP radar in Buffalo now that the starting role looks to be his.

Bills' Taylor Rapp: Back in Buffalo on three-year deal
Rapp (calf) re-signed with the Bills on Wednesday on a three-year contract worth up to $14.5 million, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
With the Bills releasing Jordan Poyer earlier Wednesday and with Micah Hyde scheduled for free agency, keeping Rapp was a priority for general manager Brandon Beane. Rapp played on a one-year deal with the Bills in 2023, appearing in 16 regular-season games (four starts) and registering 50 tackles (33 solo), one interception, one fumble recovery and 0.5 sacks. He'll likely settle into a full-time starting role in 2024.
