  • Bengals' Cody Ford: Gets new deal from Cincy

The Bengals signed Ford to a two-year contract Sunday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Ford spent the first four seasons of his career with the Bills before signing a one-year deal with Cincinnati last offseason. The 28-year-old appeared in 16 games with nine starts last year. Ford will likely compete for a starting job at guard heading into the 2025 campaign, as Orlando Brown and 2024 first-round pick Amarius Mims should start at the offensive tackle spots.

  • Bengals' Cody Ford: Checks back in

  • Bengals' Cody Ford: Questionable to return

Ford is questionable to return to Saturday's game against the Steelers due to a chest injury. Ford was dealing with an ankle injury earlier in the game and is now sidelined with an additional issue. Amarius Mims has taken over at right tackle in his absence.

  • Bengals' Cody Ford: Looks good for Sunday

Ford (illness) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns. Ford has logged a full practice for Cincinnati each day this week, and he now looks to be good to go ahead of the conference matchup. The offensive guard's illness prevented him from playing last weekend versus the Titans, but it appears to have been a short-term problem.

  • Bengals' Cody Ford: Sitting out Week 15 with illness

Ford is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans due to an illness, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports. Ford hadn't been included on the Bengals' Week 15 injury report until he was added Saturday and listed as questionable after coming down with the illness. With Ford unable to show enough improvement overnight to play Sunday, the Bengals will be down both starters on the left side of the offensive line, as tackle Orlando Brown (leg) will miss a second straight game. Devin Cochran, Andrew Stueber and Andrew Coker are the candidates to take over at left tackle, while Cordell Volson will likely fill in at left guard.

  • Bengals' Cody Ford: Avoids injury report

Ford (head) wasn't listed on the Bengals' injury report Wednesday. Ford sustained a head injury during training camp and remained in concussion protocols. Now healthy, the 2019 second-round pick will assume his reserve role on the offensive line for Week 1 at Cleveland.
