Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Won't play vs. New Orleans
McGary (knee) was limited during Friday's practice but has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints. McGary suffered a knee injury in the second quarter of the Falcons' Week 3 loss to the Chiefs. He started the week with back-to-back DNPs, and despite participating in a limited capacity during Friday's session, his knee injury is too severe for him to suit up Sunday. McGary's next chance at playing will be on a short week against the Buccaneers on Oct. 3. Storm Norton figures to start at right tackle for the Falcons in McGary's absence.... See More ... See Less -
Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Set for MRI
McGary, who exited Sunday's 22-17 loss to the Chiefs early, is believed to have suffered an MCL sprain, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. McGary will undergo an MRI to verify the diagnosis and also receive a timeframe for his recovery. While he is out of action, the Falcons will be without their starting right tackle and will likely turn to Storm Norton to handle those duties. However, depending on the severity of the sprain, McGary could still suit up this Sunday against the Saints.... See More ... See Less -
Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Downgraded to out
McGary (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports. The starting right tackle suffered the injury during the first half. McGary and Atlanta's starting center, Drew Dalman, have both been ruled out after first-half injuries. Storm Norton is the next man up behind McGary.... See More ... See Less -

Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Suiting up Sunday
McGary (knee) is active Sunday against the Bears. McGary will return after a three-game absence, which saw Storm Norton filling in for him at right tackle. The Washington product should take over starting duties with his return to action in Chicago.... See More ... See Less -
Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Could return versus Colts
McGary (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports. McGary has missed the last two games after sustaining a knee injury Week 13 against the Jets. McGary (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest versus the Buccaneers, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports. Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Good to go Sunday
McGary (knee) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Commanders, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. McGary suffered a knee injury during the Falcons' Week 5 win over the Texans, and it now seems as if he's had enough time to move past the issue. The 28-year-old was a full participant in Friday's practice, and he'll start at right tackle this coming Sunday.... See More ... See Less -
Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Leaves with injury
McGary has exited Sunday's game against the Texans with a knee injury, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports. McGary is considered questionable to return after he was slow to get up on the play in the third quarter. While he's out of the game, Storm Norton has taken over at right tackle.... See More ... Falcons' Kaleb McGary: Returning to Atlanta
McGary agreed Wednesday with the Falcons on a three-year, $34.5 million deal, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Since being selected by the Falcons in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, McGary has been a paragon of health, missing just three games during his four-year tenure with the Falcons. Though the team opted to decline his fifth-year option prior to the 2022 season, the 28-year-old right tackle showed enough promise to earn a new deal in free agency. He'll likely slot back into his familiar starting role once again in 2023.... See More ... See Less
