Harper went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers. Harper led off the fourth inning with a double before coming around to score on an Alec Bohm single, giving the Phillies a 2-1 lead. Harper would then extend the lead to 3-1 in the fourth with a 422-foot solo blast off Jacob Latz, his 11th long ball of the year. Harper missed Tuesday's contest against New York due to a migraine, but he didn't show any lingering effects of the ailment upon his return to the lineup. The first baseman belted a solo homer to left field in his first at-bat, then plated a pair of runs with a double in the fifth inning. Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Tuesday that Harper (migraine) will return to the lineup Wednesday against the Mets, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports. Harper was a late scratch from Tuesday's lineup after he developed a migraine, but his symptoms abated as the game versus the Mets went along and would have been available in a pinch-hitting capacity. Harper was a late scratch from Tuesday's lineup versus the Mets due to a migraine, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports. Worth noting is that Harper was inadvertently struck in the helmet by a Tomas Nido throw back to the pitcher in Monday's game, although he remained in that contest and it's not clear whether this is related to that. Per MLB rules, players placed on the paternity list have to miss between one and three games, so expect Harper to take the maximum amount of time to welcome in the newest addition to his family.
