  • Packers' Jordan Love: Overcomes two INTs to beat Texans

Love completed 24 of 33 passes for 220 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 24-22 win over the Texans. Love's second pass of the game was intercepted, but the defense bailed him out and held the Texans to a field goal on Houston's ensuing instant red-zone opportunity. He bounced back with touchdown passes of 14 yards to Tucker Kraft and 30 yards to Dontayvion Wicks in the second quarter, then added another interception as the Packers took a 19-14 deficit into the locker room. Green Bay reclaimed the lead courtesy of an eight-yard Love touchdown pass to Josh Jacobs in the third quarter, and after falling behind in the fourth, Love got the Packers in position for Brandon McManus' game-winning 45-yard field goal on the game's final play. Love has been more Brett Favre than Aaron Rodgers in his gun-slinging mentality (though obviously far less accomplished than either former Packers great), as he has thrown multiple touchdowns but also been picked off in all five of his starts this season en route to a 15:8 TD:INT. Another multi-touchdown passing performance is likely forthcoming from Love in Week 8 against the 2-5 Jaguars.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Tosses four TDs in Week 6 win

Love completed 22 of 32 passes for 258 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 34-13 win over the Cardinals. He added five rushing attempts for 13 yards. Love threw a five-yard touchdown pass to Jayden Reed in the first quarter before adding touchdown passes of 10 yards to Romeo Doubs and 44 yards to Christian Watson in the second quarter. His hot start got the Packers a 24-0 lead, but the Cardinals responded with 13 consecutive points, aided by a Love interception. He halted Arizona's comeback bid with a 20-yard touchdown pass to Doubs, and three fumble recoveries by the Packers defense helped Green Bay hold on for the easy win. Love will look to extend his streak of eight consecutive regular-season starts with multiple touchdown passes when the Packers host the Texans at Lambeau Field in Week 7.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: QBs to Start

Love had a disappointing performance in Week 5 at the Rams with 19.9 Fantasy points, but I expect him to get back on track in Week 6 at home against the Cardinals. Arizona's pass defense has actually performed better than expected this season, and the Cardinals just held Brock Purdy to 15.1 Fantasy points in Week 5. But the last time Love was at home, he scored 36.2 Fantasy points against Minnesota, which makes five consecutive games in Green Bay where he's scored at least 21.5 Fantasy points going back to last season. Love seems to love playing at home, so start him with confidence this week.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Two TDs in win

Love completed 15 of 26 passes for 224 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 24-19 win over the Rams. He added three rushes for 10 yards. Love had a bumpy first half, as he set up Green Bay's first touchdown with a 53-yard completion to Jayden Reed. He then followed that up with a pick-six on an ill-advised attempt to throw the ball away from his own end zone just before halftime. Things smoothed out in the final two quarters, as he found Tucker Kraft for a pair of touchdowns that came from 66 and seven yards away. Love has made too many mistakes early in the season -- he has five interceptions in three games -- but he's also moved the offense effectively and has multiple touchdowns in all three contests.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Gets back to full practice Thursday

Love (knee) was a full practice participant Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. This marks the first time Love has been unhindered at practice since spraining the MCL in his left knee Week 1 against the Eagles in Brazil. He missed just two games as a result of the injury, completing 32 of 54 passes for 389 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions in this past Sunday's 31-29 loss to the Vikings. Now that Love seemingly is past the issue, the biggest question mark surrounding the quarterback is who will be available in the skill positions for the Packers on Sunday at the Rams. WR Christian Watson (ankle) is slated to miss time, WR Romeo Doubs was away from the team Thursday due to a personal matter, and TE Luke Musgrave (ankle) hasn't taken part in drills during Week 5 prep.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: QBs to Start

Love got off to a slow start in Week 4 against Minnesota in his first game back from a two-game absence with a knee injury, but he finished strong with 389 passing yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions for 36.2 Fantasy points. He should stay hot this week at the Rams, who are No. 4 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Kyler Murray and Brock Purdy each had more than 31 Fantasy points against the Rams, and Love has the chance to be in that range also in Week 5.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Valiant effort in return

Love completed 32 of 54 passes for 389 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions and added one rush for six yards in the Packers' 31-29 loss to the Vikings on Sunday. He also threw a two-point conversion pass. Love's completion percentage in his return from a two-game absence due to a knee injury ultimately left much to be desired, but the second-half surge he led for the Packers propped up his passing yardage and touchdown numbers significantly. Down 28-7 entering the second half, he couldn't get Green Bay moving much over the first three possessions of the third quarter, but he subsequently helmed a trio of touchdown drives that included a 96-yard march that featured 63 yards' worth of completions to Jayden Reed. Love threw his final scoring toss of the day, a 17-yarder to Dontayvion Wicks, to cap off the drive with 56 seconds remaining, but he was never able to get the ball back. Love seemed to shake off rust as the game went on and said after the game his previously injured knee felt fine, per Zachary Jacobson of 247Sports. Therefore, Love could be ready to put together a much more complete performance in a Week 5 road matchup against the Rams next Sunday.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Listed as questionable

Love (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Love was a limited participant in each practice this week and now heads into the weekend looking truly questionable ahead of a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. He also was listed as questionable the past two games, but for Week 2 he was downgraded to doubtful and for Week 3 there were early reports suggesting he wouldn't play. This time around, it looks like closer to 50/50, with the Packers perhaps inclined to be less cautious than usual on account of the divisional matchup against an undefeated rival. QB Malik Willis will make his third straight start if Love doesn't end up playing.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Stays limited Friday

Coach Matt LaFleur said Love (knee) was limited at Friday's practice, Bill Huber of SI.com reports. LaFleur also was non-committal about Love's potential to play Sunday against the Vikings. Once the Packers post their final Week 4 injury report later Friday, Love likely will be listed as questionable, as he was last week. If Love is unable to suit up this weekend, Malik Willis again will be under center for Green Bay.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Remains limited in practice

Love (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. "We'll see," head coach Matt LaFleur said, when asked about Love's status for Sunday's game against the Vikings. "We'll give him up to game time." Love continues to work his way back from the Grade 1-to-2 MCL sprain he sustained in the Sept. 6 loss to the Eagles, and he looks to have a chance at meeting the short end of his projected 3-to-6-week recovery timeline. He's now been listed as a limited participant in six consecutive practices, and while the Packers haven't indicated that Love has experienced any setbacks with his left knee, he may need to turn in a full practice Friday to avoid being viewed as anything more than a game-time call leading up to Sunday. Malik Willis has presided over the Green Bay offense for the last two games and will stay prepared for another start under center this weekend if the Packers' franchise signal-caller isn't cleared to return to the lineup.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Was close to playing Week 3

Love (knee), who was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, said he was "pretty close" to playing this past Sunday in Tennessee, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. Love was able to parlay three limited sessions last week into a questionable designation for the Week 3 contest, and he even put in a lengthy pregame warmup prior to the Packers issuing their list of inactives ahead of Sunday's game. Still, the team exercised caution with its franchise quarterback and rolled with quarterback Malik Willis, who was able to secure a second victory in as many chances in place of Love. On Wednesday, Love noted that "every day is a little bit better," with regard to his recovery from the Grade 1-to-2 MCL sprain he suffered in the Packers' season-opening loss to the Eagles. He also relayed that he's "definitely" moving around better, which was corroborated by Ryan Wood of USA Today. Love will have two more opportunities to get back to full practice participation this week before the team potentially makes a ruling on his availability for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Practicing again

Love (knee) is practicing Friday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports. Love was a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday, after missing last week's win over the Colts. It's unclear if he'll be back this Sunday against the Titans, but he at least seems to be doing better than initial reports suggested after he suffered an MCL sprain in a Week 1 loss to Philadelphia.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Remains limited in practice

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that Love (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports. Love matched his activity level from Wednesday, though Thursday's session was a padded practice. Though Love was initially expected to miss somewhere in the range of 3-to-6 weeks after suffering an MCL sprain late in the Packers' Week 1 loss to the Eagles, he looks like he has a serious chance of making it back after just a one-game absence. The Packers will reassess Love's status following their final Week 3 practice Friday, and LaFleur suggested that a decision on whether the quarterback will play Sunday against the Titans could come down to a game-time decision. Malik Willis will stay prepared for a second straight start in the event the Packers decide to hold Love out of the lineup for another week.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: In consideration for Week 3

Love (knee), who was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, could have a chance to play Sunday against the Titans, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. "I wouldn't be surprised if he plays this week," one source tells Schefter. "It's definitely day-by-day like [Love] said, and 50-50 at best right now." For his part, Love was non-committal about being ready to play Sunday in Tennessee, despite taking a major step forward in his recovery from an MCL sprain of his left knee by taking snaps and throwing during on-field work Wednesday. After he was diagnosed with the knee injury following his departure in the final minute of the Packers' Week 1 loss to the Eagles back on Sept. 6, Love was projected to miss 3-to-4 weeks, but he looks to be trending toward the short end of that recovery timeline, if he doesn't beat it by a week. Schefter suggests that even if the Packers err on the side of caution and keep Love out for a second straight game Sunday, the quarterback will have a much more realistic chance of being ready to play Week 4 at home versus the Vikings.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Non-committal about Week 3 status

Love (knee), who was limited at Wednesday's practice, was non-committal about his chances to play Sunday at Tennessee, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports. "I'm going to take the week and just take it day by day and see how it feels," Love noted. "I'm not going to make any decisions right now. I'm hopeful that I can get to that point where I can get in there, but we're just going to take it day by day." After going through warmups Wednesday, Love proceeded to take snaps and throw during on-field work, per Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site. Head coach Matt LaFleur then revealed that Love was a limited participant in the practice session, and the quarterback spoke to the media not longer after. For the second week in a row, the Packers are leaving the door open for Love to suit up following the MCL sprain that he sustained in the season opener, but his ability to mix into drills seemingly gives him a much better chance to play Week 3 compared to Week 2.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Officially limited Wednesday

Love (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Not only did Love participate in warmups and other drills in the Don Hutson Center prior to practice, but he was also seen taking snaps and throwing while wearing a sleeve on his left leg outside on the field, per Hodkiewicz. Love thus is making clear progress in his recovery from the MCL sprain that he suffered Week 1 against the Eagles in Brazil, but there's no telling if he may be trending toward a return to action as soon as this Sunday at Tennessee. Ultimately, Friday's injury report will reveal his chances to do so, but Malik Willis would get the nod under center for the Packers this weekend if Love continues to sit out.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Inactive Sunday, as expected

Love (knee) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Colts, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports. After a week in which coach Matt LaFleur was coy about Love's status in the wake of the quarterback sustaining an MCL sprain in his left knee in Green Bay's season-opening loss to the Eagles in Brazil, he unsurprisingly won't suit up Week 2. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network even reported Sunday morning that Love is aiming to return Week 5, when the Packers take on the Rams on the road on Sunday, Oct. 6. In the meantime, Malik Willis is expected to lead the offense, while Sean Clifford backs him up.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Officially DNP on Thursday

Coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Love (knee) didn't practice Thursday, but the quarterback was "engaged, knows every play call and is coaching up Malik (Willis) and Sean (Clifford)," Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Despite not taking part in drills so far this week due to the MCL sprain that he suffered last Friday against the Eagles in Brazil, Love seemingly has a very small chance to play Sunday versus the Colts. LaFleur again implied as much Thursday, telling Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com that Love is "gonna do everything he can to be out there, and we'll give him the week." Love has just one more chance to practice before the weekend (Friday), at which point the Packers may make a ruling on his availability for Week 2, but as it stands, Willis appears as if he'll get the starting nod Sunday.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Keeping door open for Sunday

Head coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that Love (knee) doesn't need practice reps in order to play, adding that "it's pretty open" whether or not the quarterback will suit up Sunday against the Colts, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. "But at the same time, he's gotta be cleared," LaFleur noted. Unsurprisingly, Love didn't practice Wednesday after sustaining a Grade 1-to-2 MCL sprain in his left knee last Friday versus the Eagles, instead focusing on rehab. The general consensus remains that Love will miss at least a few games due to the estimated 3-to-6-week recovery timeline for such an injury, but LaFleur seemingly won't rule out the quarterback for Week 2 until Friday, at the earliest. Assuming Love doesn't gain clearance ahead of Sunday's game, Malik Willis is expected to start in his place, with practice-squad member Sean Clifford serving as the backup signal-caller.

  • Packers' Jordan Love: Sits out practice Wednesday

Love (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. When speaking with the media Monday, head coach Matt LaFleur didn't outright rule Love out for a Week 2 matchup with the Colts, per Ryan Wood of USA Today. However, Love is expected to miss 3-to-6 weeks due to the Grade 1-to-2 MCL sprain that he suffered in his left knee last Friday against the Eagles in Brazil. LaFleur also noted Monday that Malik Willis will start as long as Love can't suit up, with Sean Clifford slated to be elevated from the practice squad and back up Willis on game days.
