  • Jaguars' Tanner Muse: Joining Jacksonville

The Jaguars signed Muse (knee) to a contract Tuesday, Zach Goodall of USA Today reports. Muse is joining the fifth team of his NFL career after finishing out the 2024 campaign on the Chargers' IR with a knee injury. The Raiders' 2020 third-round pick missed the entirety of his rookie season with a toe injury before being waived ahead of the 2021 campaign. He then spent two seasons in Seattle and an offseason with the Steelers before joining the Chargers ahead of last season, logging just one tackle while exlusively playing on special teams across 10 appearances. Muse will now likely compete for a similar role in Jacksonville.

  • Chargers' Tanner Muse: Won't return Week 17

Muse (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos. Muse was designated to return from injured reserve almost two weeks ago, but it seems as if his knee issue is still hindering him and he won't suit up in Week 17. The 27-year-old must be activated to the Chargers' active roster before making his return to the field, and in his 10 appearances this season, Muse has recorded two total tackles.

Muse (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve by the Chargers on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Muse will now have a 21-day practice window to be activated or else he'll remain on IR for the rest of the season. The linebacker was listed as a limited participant at the team's practice session Tuesday.

  • Chargers' Tanner Muse: Officially shifts to IR

Muse (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Head coach Brandon Staley told reporters Monday that the 27-year-old linebacker would likely head to IR after suffering a knee injury during Los Angeles' Week 11 loss, so this move doesn't come as a surprise. Muse had appeared in all 10 of the Chargers' games thus far, logging two total tackles and playing strictly on special teams.
