  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Closes out season impressively

McLaughlin converted field-goal attempts of 52 and 25 yards and knocked home all three extra-point attempts in the Buccaneers' 27-19 win over the Saints on Sunday. He finished the 2024 regular season having gone 30-for-32 (93.8 percent) on field goals and 54-for-56 on PATs. The veteran kicker managed to inch past his previous career-best field-goal accuracy rate of 93.5 percent, which he'd established just last season, with Sunday's perfect tally. McLaughlin did misfire on extra-point tries for the first time since the 2021 season, but he'll enter the postseason as one of the most trusted kickers in the field of 14 teams and remains under contract with the Buccaneers through the 2026 season.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Perfect on eight kicks Sunday

McLaughlin converted field-goal attempts of 23 and 34 yards and connected on all six extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 48-14 win over the Panthers on Sunday. The Buccaneers offense was impressively efficient throughout Sunday's lopsided victory, but McLaughlin was the beneficiary in the form of a couple of short field-goal tries on the rare occasions Baker Mayfield didn't cap off a possession with a touchdown pass. With his third straight perfect tally on field goals, McLaughlin is now sitting on a 93.3 percent success rate in that department for the season, just two-tenths of a percentage point behind last season's career-best figure heading into the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Saints.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Clean performance in loss

McLaughlin connected on his only field-goal attempt (45 yards) and all three extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 26-24 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday night. McLaughlin's one field-goal try came late in the third quarter and reduced the Buccaneers' deficit to nine points at the time. The perfect night pushed McLaughlin's field-goal success rate to 92.9 percent -- just a shade behind the career-best 93.5 percent figure he mustered in 2023 -- with his only two misses coming from 50-plus yards. Meanwhile he's already at career highs in PATs (47) and made extra points (45), leaving him in line to potentially hit or eclipse the 50-mark in each category with two games remaining.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Kicker to Start

McLaughlin had four field goals and four PATs in Week 15 at the Chargers for 18 Fantasy points, and he has now scored at least 16 points in two of his past three games. This week, he's facing a Cowboys team that is No. 10 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers, and five kickers have made at least 10 Fantasy points against Dallas this season.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Prolific afternoon in win

McLaughlin connected on field-goal attempts of 22, 37, 42 and 43 yards and knocked home all four extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 40-17 win over the Chargers on Sunday. The veteran kicker racked up 16 total points in the surprisingly comfortable victory, kicking a pair of field goals apiece in the first and second halves. The four made field goals tied a season high for McLaughlin, who'd just set that mark Week 13 against the Panthers. McLaughlin is up to a 92.6 percent success rate on field goals and 95.5 percent on PATs heading into a Week 16 road matchup against the Cowboys that should also afford him plenty of scoring opportunities.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Limited to PATs in win

McLaughlin did not attempt any field goals and connected on all four extra-point tries during the Buccaneers' 28-13 win over the Raiders on Sunday. The veteran kicker failed to log a single field-goal attempt for the first time all season and only the fourth time during his 32 combined regular-season and postseason appearances with the Buccaneers. McLaughlin did boost his accuracy on PATs to 95.0 percent with his quartet of makes in as many tries Sunday, setting a new career high with 38 extra points in the process. McLaughlin could be busier on the field-goal front in a Week 15 road matchup against the Chargers, considering Los Angeles' typically stingy defense and the fact the Bolts have allowed a league-low 41.9 percent red-zone touchdown success rate.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Kicker to Start

I'm trying to find the kicker against the Raiders every week, and in Week 14 it's McLaughlin's turn. The Raiders are No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers, and Will Lutz and Matthew Wright combined for nine field goals and three PATs against Las Vegas in the past two games. For the season, nine kickers have scored at least 10 Fantasy points against the Raiders, including four in a row. And McLaughlin just made 4-of-5 field goals and two PATs in Week 13 against Carolina, so he's hot coming into this dream matchup.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Compiles 14 points in OT win

McLaughlin connected on field-goal attempts of 27, 26, 51 and 30 yards, misfired on a 55-yard try and knocked home both PATs in the Buccaneers' 26-23 overtime win over the Panthers on Sunday. As his final line corroborates, McLaughlin was a major factor in Tampa Bay's victory, although, ironically, he came one play from being the culprit in a potential loss. McLaughlin knocked a 55-yard try wide left at the end of the Buccaneers' first drive in overtime, but he subsequently made good on his chance to atone following Chuba Hubbard's fumble by drilling a game-winning 30-yard attempt. McLaughlin now has missed a kick in consecutive games -- he failed to convert one of his four PATs in Week 12 -- for the first time in his near two-season stint in Tampa Bay, but he'll remain an elite option for a fantasy-friendly home matchup against the Raiders in Week 14.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Kicker to Start

McLaughlin has one game with multiple field goals since Week 5, which was the last time he scored double digits in Fantasy points. But I like him as a must-start kicker in Week 13 at Carolina. The Panthers are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers, and four of the past six kickers against Carolina have made at least three field goals. McLaughlin also made 3-of-3 field goals against the Panthers when he faced them last in Week 18 last season in Carolina.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Connects on four of five kicks

McLaughlin connected on his only field-goal attempt (23 yards) and made three of four extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 30-7 win over the Giants on Sunday. McLaughlin drilled a chip shot field-goal try early in the second quarter but went on to miss his second PAT attempt of the season following Baker Mayfield's 10-yard touchdown run just before halftime. McLaughlin pushed his success rate on field goals to a career-best 94.4 percent with Sunday's sole make, and he could be in for an even busier afternoon in a Week 13 road matchup against the vulnerable Panthers defense.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Another unblemished day Sunday

McLaughlin connected on field-goal attempts of 30 and 26 yards and also made both extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 23-20 loss to the 49ers on Sunday. McLaughlin managed another productive afternoon despite the fact the Buccaneers offense was once again operating very short-handed at receiver. The veteran kicker's opportunities continue to be mostly unencumbered by the personnel losses, as Sunday marked McLaughlin's fourth consecutive game with four kicking opportunities despite the absences of Chris Godwin (IR, ankle) and Mike Evans (hamstring) for the last three contests, and Jalen McMillan (hamstring) for the most recent two.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Perfect on four kicks

McLaughlin connected on his only field-goal attempt from 47 yards out and was successful on all three extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 30-24 overtime loss to the Chiefs on Monday night. McLaughlin once again maximized his opportunities and generated his second straight six-point performance. The veteran kicker is keeping pace with his career-best 2024, as he's posted a 93.3 percent success rate on field-goal attempts and has missed just one of his 28 PATs. McLaughlin's only field-goal miss has been from 50-plus yards, and he could be busier on that front during a Week 10 home matchup against the 49ers if Tampa Bay's offense stalls out more than it did against Kansas City.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Kicker to Sit

McLaughlin comes into Week 9 at Kansas City having scored eight Fantasy points or less in three games in a row. He hasn't made multiple field goals since Week 5, and now he has a tough opponent against the Chiefs, who are No. 8 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers. Evan McPherson in Week 2 is the lone kicker with more than eight Fantasy points against Kansas City, and I would try to avoid McPherson in all leagues in Week 9.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Another 50+ yard make Sunday

McLaughlin drilled his only field-goal attempt from 52 yards and made all three extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 31-26 loss to the Falcons on Sunday. McLaughlin was his usual reliable self, maximizing each opportunity he was given in the high-scoring divisional clash. The Buccaneers managed to remain reasonably efficient on offense despite the absences of their top two receivers, so McLaughlin arguably saw less field-goal opportunity than he might have been projected for going in. The veteran kicker is now 6-for-7 from 50+ yards following his long-distance make Sunday, and he could see his team's offense stall more often in scoring position versus a tough Chiefs defense on the road next Monday night.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Misfires on 55-yard attempt

McLaughlin converted one of his two field-goal attempts and knocked down both of his point-after tries in Monday's 41-31 loss to the Ravens. McLaughlin had gone 11-for-11 on field-goal tries through the Buccaneers' first six games, but he saw his streak of perfection come to an end midway through the third quarter of Monday's contest. He nearly came through with his sixth kick of the season of more than 50 yards, but his 55-yard attempt clanked off the right upright. While being attached to a high-powered Tampa Bay offense, McLaughlin has recorded at least nine points in four of the first seven games, but his scoring opportunities could become more limited over the next few games after the Buccaneers lost their top two receivers (Mike Evans and Chris Godwin) to injuries in Monday's loss.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Another perfect showing Sunday

McLaughlin connected on his only field-goal try (26 yards) and drilled all six extra-point attempts in the Buccaneers' 51-27 win over the Saints on Sunday. McLaughlin was limited to less than two field-goal tries for just the second time this season, but he was busier than ever on extra points with the Buccaneers offense turning in a highly efficient performance. McLaughlin remains perfect on 11 field-goal attempts and has missed just one of his 20 PATs, laying an early foundation for a season that could be even more productive than his standout 2023 campaign.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Kicker to Start

The Saints have already allowed three kickers this season to make four field goals, including two in a row with Younghoe Koo and Harrison Butker. New Orleans is No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing kickers, and McLaughlin has scored at least 10 Fantasy points in four of five games this year. He's also 5-of-5 on field goals of 50-plus yards and has missed just one PAT on all of his kicking attempts this season.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Another long make Sunday

McLaughlin converted field-goal attempts of 30 and 55 yards and drilled both his extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 20-16 win over the Lions on Sunday. McLaughlin's capable long-range leg was on full display during his 55-yarder early in the first quarter, pushing his accuracy from 50-plus yards to 90.0 percent over his first season plus with the Buccaneers. After an inconsistent preseason, McLaughlin has flipped the switch, going 5-for-5 on field goals and 6-for-6 on PATs over the first two regular-season contests. The veteran should have his fair share of opportunities again in a Week 3 home matchup against the Broncos.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: In stellar form Sunday

McLaughlin converted all three field-goal attempts -- from 56, 34 and 29 yards -- while also drilling all four extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 37-20 win over the Commanders on Sunday. McLaughlin had a somewhat rocky preseason, but when the proverbial lights came on in Week 1, the veteran kicker was as good as he looked during a career-best 2023 season. McLaughlin kicked all his field goals in the first half, starting with the 56-yarder that capped off Tampa Bay's first possession. McLaughlin was an elite 7-for-8 from 50+ yards a season ago, and his perfect start Sunday combined with the efficiency demonstrated by Baker Mayfield and the offense appears to bode well for the veteran kicker's chances of replicating his success this season.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Back to full practice

McLaughlin (abdomen) returned to a full practice Thursday. McLaughlin should be good to go for Sunday's Week 1 opener against the Commanders. The 28-year-old kicker made a career-best 93.5 percent of his field goal attempts last season, going 29 of 31 while making all 33 of his extra points. The big year earned McLaughlin a three-year, $12.3 million deal in the offseason.
