Jaguars' Arik Armstead: Secures sack in team debut
Armstead recorded 1.0 sack and no other statistics in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Dolphins.

The 30-year-old will look to establish himself as a force for Jacksonville on the team's interior defensive line in 2024 after spending the first nine seasons of his career with San Francisco.

Jaguars' Arik Armstead: Should face no restrictions
Armstead (knee) should be a full participant during practice this week, Juston Lewis of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Armstead suffered a torn meniscus last season while with the 49ers, which led to him spending most of training camp recovering on the PUP list. Head coach Doug Pederson said they'll "see how he is," but no limitations are expected for the 30-year-old as they prepare for a Week 1 matchup with the Dolphins.

Jaguars' Arik Armstead: Could return next week
Head coach Doug Pederson relayed Monday that Armstead (knee) could return from the active/PUP list sometime next week, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Armstead is in the final stages of his recovery from offseason surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. Should he return to practice next week, he'll likely be held out of the Jaguars' preseason finale against the Falcons and aim to be up to game speed for Week 1 against the Dolphins on Sept. 8. Armstead signed a three-year, $51 million contract with Jacksonville in March after spending the first nine years of his career with San Francisco. The 30-year-old Armstead is set to be an integral piece to the Jaguars' defensive front alongside Josh Hines-Allen, DaVon Hamilton and Travon Walker.
