  • Bills' Amari Cooper: Finds end zone in Bills debut

Cooper recorded four receptions on five targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Titans. Cooper made his Bills debut after being dealt from Cleveland in the middle of the week, and he delivered an efficient performance. Things got off to an inauspicious start, as he dropped his first target from Josh Allen. His next opportunity didn't come until early in the second half, but he converted that for a 12-yard touchdown and then went on to tally long catches of 27 and 19 yards later in the same quarter. Moving forward, Cooper isn't likely to see the same volume as he did during his time in Cleveland, but his efficiency should tick up considerably with Allen delivering his targets.

  • Bills' Amari Cooper: Poised to make team debut

Cooper is slated to play Sunday against the Titans, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, Cooper will be in uniform Sunday, with an opportunity to rotate into a wideout corps that also includes Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Mack Hollins and Curtis Samuel. However, the extent of Cooper's workload and target share is difficult to project, given that he's had just one week to practice with the Bills after being acquired from the Browns on Tuesday. Once he's gained more familiarity with Buffalo's offense, the 30-year-old should profile as the No. 1 option in the passing attack, though he represents more of a speculative fantasy play in Week 7. The move to the Bills is a positive development for Cooper's fantasy outlook, after he had logged a 24-250-2 receiving line through his first six games in a Cleveland passing offense that ranked 30th in the NFL in yards per game (143).

  • Bills' Amari Cooper: Week 7 status TBD

When asked Friday if he anticipates Cooper playing Sunday against the Titans, coach Sean McDermott said, "We'll see, I mean, I would think so, but I wanna see, and I wanna visit with the coaches again," Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. The Bills added Cooper in a trade with the Browns on Tuesday, so the wideout has had limited time to familiarize himself with the team's offense. There's a chance that McDermott will confirm Cooper's playing status ahead of Week 7 action, but if that doesn't happen, Buffalo's inactive list for the team's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff will reveal the final outcome on that front.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Makes little impact Sunday

Cooper caught four of six targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Eagles. The continued struggles of quarterback Deshaun Watson dragged down Cooper's numbers, but the veteran wideout still led the Browns in receiving yards despite the fact that he saw his lowest target volume of the year so far. With Cleveland at 1-5 and seemingly headed for a lost season, trade rumors have begun circling around Cooper, and his 19-223-2 line over the last four games is respectable considering his situation. Cooper will try to take advantage of a vulnerable Bengals secondary in Week 7.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Bust Alert

I hope Cooper proves me wrong in Week 6, and this is a favorable matchup against the Eagles, who are No. 4 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. And he continues to get targets with at least eight in every game, so the chances to make plays aren't escaping him. But the production has escaped Cooper all season since he has one game with more than 10.0 PPR points, and he combined for 17.5 PPR points in the past two games in favorable matchups against the Raiders and Commanders. I'm hopeful Cooper will snap out of this slump this week, but I would only start him in three-receiver leagues.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Leading receiver in loss

Cooper caught four of 10 targets for 60 yards in Sunday's 34-13 loss to the Commanders. While he saw double-digit targets for the second time in five games and led the Browns in receiving yards, Cooper still failed to do very much with the volume as Deshaun Watson struggled to get the ball downfield with any authority once again. Aside from his two-TD performance against the Giants in Week 3, Cooper has had a rough start to the campaign, and it might take a switch under center to Jameis Winston -- or a trade to another team -- to make the veteran wideout a consistent fantasy asset again. Cooper will try to break out in Week 6 against a well-rested Eagles secondary that will be coming out of its bye.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: WRs to Start

I'm starting a pair of Browns receivers this week with Cooper and Jerry Jeudy, and I love the matchup for both of them against the Commanders, who are No. 1 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. Cooper only has one game this season with more than 7.5 PPR points, but it was the last time he was in Cleveland in Week 3 against the Giants when he scored 27.6 PPR points. Jeudy just had six catches for 72 yards on nine targets at the Raiders in Week 4, and he's now scored at least 11.5 PPR points in three of four games this season. Six receivers have scored at least 15.5 PPR points against Washington this season, and Cooper should be considered a solid No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues, with Jeudy a high-end No. 3 option.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Cools off against Raiders

Cooper had four receptions (eight targets) for 35 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to Las Vegas. Cooper took a back seat to Jerry Jeudy (6-72-0) on Sunday after going off for two scores in last week's loss to the Giants, although he did have an 82-yard touchdown catch and run early in the fourth quarter wiped out by a questionable holding penalty. The veteran starter has struggled in three starts outside of Week 3's monster output, but he remains a steady play in fantasy given his track record. Cooper will look to break out of his early-season slump when the Browns face the Commanders on Sunday.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: No injury concerns for Week 4

Cooper practiced without limitations Wednesday and wasn't listed on Cleveland's initial Week 4 injury report, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports. Cooper stayed down after one of Cleveland's final offensive plays in Sunday's 21-15 loss to the Giants, but he eventually walked off under his own power. he veteran wide receiver has evidently recovered from that injury scare and should continue working as quarterback Deshaun Watson's top target Sunday against the Raiders. After being limited to five catches for 27 yards and no touchdowns on 17 targets through the Browns' first two games, Cooper broke out for a 7-86-2 receiving line on 12 targets in the loss to New York.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Banged up late after two TDs

Cooper caught seven of 12 targets for 86 yards and two touchdowns before suffering an undisclosed injury late in Sunday's 21-15 loss to the Giants. Coach Kevin Stefanski didn't have an update on Cooper's status after the game, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports. Cooper caught a 24-yard touchdown on Cleveland's first play of the game after the Giants fumbled the opening kickoff. He added a six-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter, but the Browns failed to muster any scoring drives outside of those two. Cooper bounced back emphatically after coming in with just five catches for 27 yards on 17 targets, but the veteran wide receiver went down on Cleveland's final drive before walking off under his own power, per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com. An update on Cooper's status will surface when the Browns prepare to face the Raiders in Week 4.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Struggles again

Cooper recorded three receptions on eight targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 18-13 win over the Jaguars. Deshaun Watson has looked Cooper's way consistently in the first two weeks of the season, with Cooper earning a combined 17 targets. However, the duo have yet to get on the same page, and Cooper has amassed only five receptions for 26 total yards as a result. That inefficiency will make him difficult to trust in the immediate future, particularly because Watson has displayed better rapport with Jerry Jeudy.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Struggles in opener

Cooper recorded two receptions on nine targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 33-17 loss to the Cowboys. Deshaun Watson was unable to distribute the ball successfully down the field, which plagued Cooper and all the Cleveland pass catchers. If there was a positive takeaway, it's that Cooper commanded nine targets to lead the team. Even so, it will be difficult to trust him until Watson shows improved form, though Cleveland should draw a softer defensive matchup in Week 2 against Jacksonville.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Unlikely to play Saturday

Cooper isn't in line to play in Saturday's preseason game at Seattle, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Along with Cooper, QB Deshaun Watson, WR Jerry Jeudy and TE David Njoku (undisclosed) won't be available for the Browns' exhibition finale. Cooper thus will turn his focus to Week 1 and beyond, as he's coming off his first two campaigns with the Browns having averaged 75.3 receiving yards per game while totaling 14 TDs in 32 regular-season contests.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Handles individual drills

Cooper (undisclosed) participated in individual work Wednesday but was held out of team drills, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports. Cooper remains limited in practice due to a minor issue sustained during 11-on-11 work last week in joint activities with the Vikings. The veteran wideout seems to be dealing with soreness, and the Browns have no major concern about his availability for Week 1. However, he has just two more chances to resume handling team reps ahead of Saturday's preseason finale against the Seahawks.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Resumes practicing

Cooper (undisclosed) participated in practice Wednesday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Cooper, who left this past Thursday's practice early after making a catch during 11-on-11 drills, was reportedly dealing with some soreness afterward, but the wideout has resumed practicing Wednesday. Assuming he suffered no setbacks, Cooper is a candidate to see action in Saturday's preseason finale, with head coach Kevin Stefanski having previously said that Browns starters "should expect to play" in the contest, per Kelsey Russo of the team's official site.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Doesn't practice Tuesday

Though Cooper (undisclosed) didn't practice Tuesday, Zac Jackson of The Athletic relays that the wideout was present for a mid-session walkthrough. Cooper left this past Thursday's practice early after making a catch during 11-on-11 drills, and coach Kevin Stefanski subsequently noted that the wideout was "sore." With that in mind, consider Cooper day-to-day as Saturday's preseason finale against the Seahawks approaches

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Surprisingly absent from practice

Cooper (undisclosed) is not present at Tuesday's practice despite coach Kevin Stefanski stating that he would be on the field, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Stefanski said Tuesday morning that Cooper, who has been sidelined since suffering an undisclosed injury during joint practices with the Vikings last Thursday, was in line to return, but the Browns' No. 1 wideout isn't actually on the field. Saturday's exhibition game against the Seahawks represents Cooper's final chance to log preseason reps prior to Week 1, when the Browns will take on the Cowboys at home, but he'll need to return to practice before that will likely be an option.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Exits Thursday's practice

Cooper (undisclosed) left Thursday's practice early after making a catch during 11-on-11 drills, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports. When asked about Cooper afterward, coach Kevin Stefanski didn't specify the wideout's injury, noting that the veteran pass catcher is "sore," according to Oyefusi. Given that the team's starters aren't in line to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Vikings, Cooper's next chance to see game action will arrive in Cleveland's exhibition finale against the Seahawks on Saturday, Aug. 24.

  • Browns' Amari Cooper: Gets deal restructured

Cooper reported to training camp Tuesday after agreeing to a restructured deal with the Browns, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Per Cabot, Cooper is in line to get $5 million in new incentives as part of the deal, while his $20 million base salary is now guaranteed. With the agreement to amend the final year of his contract now in place, Cooper is set to reclaim his role as the top option in a Cleveland wideout corps that features newcomer Jerry Jeudy and returnees Elijah Moore, Cedric Tillman and David Bell.
