  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Paces pass catchers in loss

Lockett secured four of eight targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' 36-24 loss to the 49ers on Thursday night. Lockett's receiving yardage total paced the Seahawks on the night, and he was also the only Seattle pass catcher to find the end zone. The veteran receiver's impressive nine-yard grab in the back of the end zone late in the fourth quarter gave the Seahawks brief hope by narrowing their deficit to five points and also served as Lockett's first touchdown of the campaign. The 10th-year pro heads into a Week 7 road matchup against the Falcons with a four-game streak of at least four receptions and six targets.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Week 6 Waiver Priority List

Lockett has scored at least 11.1 PPR points in three of five games this season, including two in a row against the Lions and Giants. He's still contributing even with DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba having solid starts to the year, and Lockett can be used as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in Week 6 against the 49ers. He's worth adding in all leagues for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Leads team with 75 yards

Lockett caught four of six targets for 75 yards in Sunday's 29-20 loss to the Giants. Lockett wound up leading the Seahawks in receiving despite finishing fourth in targets. The veteran wideout entered the contest averaging 4.8 receptions and 49.8 receiving yards before upping those marks Sunday. Lockett has still yet to score a touchdown through five games this season, but he remains a reliable PPR option heading into Thursday's tilt against San Francisco.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Good to go

Lockett (thigh) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Giants, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Lockett has been listed on the injury report for four out of five games so far, but he hasn't had a game designation since Week 1 and has played more than half of the available snaps in each game. While Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been getting a few more routes and targets than Lockett on average, Lockett's 80 percent route share and 17 percent target share for the season are respectable numbers, keeping him in play as a lineup option for deep leagues if nothing else.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Stays limited Thursday

Lockett (thigh) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Lockett is enduring practice limitations due to a thigh injury for a fourth week out of a possible five to kick off the campaign. So far, the issue hasn't stopped him from being available on game days, resulting in a cumulative 18-199-0 line on 26 targets in four contests. Friday's injury report ultimately may clear Lockett ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Giants.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Limited Wednesday

Lockett (thigh) was a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Lockett's health concern from training camp lingered all the way through Week 3 prep, but he was listed as a full participant on all three practice reports last week. The thigh injury now is back and hindering his amount of on-field work as the Seahawks gear up to face the Giants on Sunday. Ultimately, Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not Lockett enters the weekend with a designation for that contest.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Week 5 Waiver Priority List

Lockett has 17 targets in his past two games, and he's not going away despite DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba also having prominent roles. Now, Geno Smith just threw 56 passes in Week 4 at Detroit, so that helped Lockett get a season-high nine targets against Detroit. But with the bye weeks here and Lockett still heavily involved, he could be used as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in deeper leagues. Lockett is worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Earns season-high target count

Lockett posted five catches (on nine targets) for 61 yards during Monday's 42-29 loss at Detroit. In a game in which QB Geno Smith put up a career-high 56 pass attempts for 395 yards, no Seahawks pass catcher had more than Jaxon Smith-Njigba's eight receptions, and DK Metcalf led the team with 104 receiving yards. Lockett himself unsurprisingly saw a season-best target count, but he has yet to score a touchdown on the campaign, and his weekly output so far hasn't been something to write home about. Lockett will attempt to make some inroads on Metcalf and Smith-Njigba this coming Sunday against the Giants.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Sleeper WRs

I'm expecting DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba to have big games in Week 4 at Detroit, but Lockett can be considered a low-end starter in three-receiver leagues as well. He has two games this season with at least seven targets, and this is a favorable matchup against the Lions, who are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. In two games at Detroit in each of the past two seasons, Lockett combined for 14 catches for 150 yards and a touchdown, and he scored at least 15.1 PPR points in each outing. While I like Metcalf and Smith-Njigba more, Lockett could be a surprise Fantasy option also, given the matchup.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Leads team with eight targets

Lockett (thigh) garnered eight targets in Sunday's 24-7 win that resulted in five receptions for 46 yards against the Dolphins. Lockett was cleared of a minor thigh injury prior to Sunday's win, and he led the team in targets with a solid fantasy showing for PPR managers. Seattle's veteran wideout has yet to score a touchdown through three games, but he has recorded 13 receptions for 138 yards. Lockett remains a reliable fantasy option heading into next Monday's tilt against the Lions.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Cleared to face Miami

Lockett (thigh) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Miami, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. It's the same injury Lockett played through the last two weeks, although his fantasy value took a hit last Sunday at New England when he drew just two targets on 57 snaps in a game that saw both DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba catch double-digit passes. Lockett did lead the team in targets (seven) and receiving yards (77) in a Week 1 win over the Broncos, but the overall picture through two games suggests he's falling behind Smith-Njigba (both in terms of snaps and targets) and may only be Seattle's No. 3 receiver at this point.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Limited again Thursday

Lockett (thigh) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. The Seahawks have kept Lockett's practice reps in check so far this season, but the limitations haven't impacted his ability to suit up on game day. Even if he enters the weekend with a questionable designation for Sunday's contest against the Dolphins, he'll very likely be active and be looking to build upon a modest 8-92-0 line on nine targets through two outings to begin the campaign.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Stays limited at practice

Lockett (thigh) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Lockett continues to operate with a cap on his practice reps due to the thigh issue that has followed him since mid-August. Still, he's been able to suit up for both of Seattle's games this season on his way to eight catches (on nine targets) for 92 yards and no touchdowns. Whether Lockett enters Sunday's game against the Dolphins listed as questionable like he was in Week 1 or minus an injury designation like he was in Week 2 will hinge on his practice activity Thursday and Friday.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Remains limited at practice

Lockett (thigh) was a limited practice participant Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Lockett is following the same routine this week as he did during Week 1 prep, meaning he likely will follow back-to-back capped sessions with a full practice Friday. Whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game at New England remains to be seen, but there doesn't seem to be much, if any, worry about him being available. Lockett paced the Seahawks with six catches (on seven targets) for 77 yards during this past Sunday's win over the Broncos.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Remains limited this week

Lockett (thigh) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. As was the case last week to begin preparations for the Seahawks' season opener, Lockett is kicking off this week with a cap on his reps due to the thigh issue that has lingered since mid-August. While his snap share (54 percent) during this past Sunday's win against the Broncos fell below his standard from past seasons, he paced the team with six catches (on seven targets) for 77 yards. Whether or not Lockett carries a designation into Sunday's game at New England will be determined after Friday's practice report is released.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Week 2 Adds (WR Preview)

Lockett was disrespected all offseason again and came out and played like the Seahawks' number one wide receiver in Week 1. View him as a boom/bust flex for now, but if he has another week as the team's top target earner, he'll move into WR3 territory.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Week 2 Waiver Priority List

Lockett just continues to produce, and in Week 1 against Denver, he was the Seahawks' leading receiver with six catches for 77 yards on seven targets. DK Metcalf (three catches for 29 yards on four targets) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (two catches for 19 yards on two targets) will have better games moving forward, but Lockett is worth stashing on your bench for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Leading receiver in Week 1 win

Lockett (thigh) brought in six of seven targets for 77 yards in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Broncos. Lockett was battling a thigh injury this preseason, and while his presence in the lineup wasn't in serious doubt, fantasy managers should be pleased with Sunday's results. The veteran wideout should remain an integral part of Seattle's balanced passing attack. That said, an absent Kenneth Walker (abdomen) from next week's tilt against the Patriots could produce another healthy target total for Lockett.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Suiting up Sunday

Lockett (thigh) is active for Sunday's game versus the Broncos. A thigh injury plagued Lockett since mid-August, and he managed back-to-back limited practices to begin Week 1 prep before capping it with a full session Friday. While he entered the weekend listed as questionable, both the wide receiver and coach Mike Macdonald expressed optimism that Lockett would be able to suit up Sunday. Indeed, that has come to pass, meaning Lockett will join DK Metcalf and second-year pro Jaxon Smith-Njigba as the Seahawks' top trio of wide receivers for quarterback Geno Smith.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: On track to play Sunday

Lockett (thigh) remains listed as questionable but is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Broncos, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Even though Lockett was limited during practices Wednesday and Thursday, head coach Mike Macdonald had already intimated that the wideout was on track to play Sunday. Lockett's condition apparently hasn't taken a turn for the worse in the two days after he turned in a full practice Friday, so expect him to be formally cleared when the Seahawks release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to the 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff. DK Metcalf and Lockett will once again sit atop the depth chart at receiver for the Seahawks entering the 2024 season, but 2023 first-round pick and No. 3 wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba is expected to take on a larger role in his second NFL campaign and could wind up cutting into Lockett's target share.
