Joe Person@josephperson1D agoCan confirm Panthers are reworking Adam Thielen’s contract, as @JFowlerESPN said. The Panthers plan to give him a pay bump. Thielen was set to make $6.75 million this year, including a $1.5M roster bonus that hits Saturday.

David Newton@DNewtonespn1D agoThe Panthers are giving former Dallas Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle a one-year deal worth up to $6.25 million, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. He will back up Chuba Hubbard while Jonathon Brooks recovers from ACL surgery. Brooks expected to miss most if not all of the season.
