  • Damion Lee SG | PHO

Suns' Damion Lee: Staying in Phoenix

Lee (knee) and the Suns agreed to a one-year deal Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

After missing the entire 2023-24 campaign while recovering from meniscus surgery, Lee will get another chance to prove his worth with the Suns. Back in 2022-23, Lee was a key rotation player for the Suns, averaging 8.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 three-pointers and 1.4 assists in 20.4 minutes over 74 regular-season appearances. Lee is expected to be fully healthy ahead of training camp.

  • LeBron James SF | LAL

LeBron James: Staying in Los Angeles

James and the Lakers agreed Wednesday on a two-year, $104 million contract, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Even though James declined his $51.42 million player option for the 2024-25 season over the weekend, there was never much doubt that he would re-signwith the Lakers in free agency. With an agreement on a new deal with the Lakers now in place, James will have the opportunity to play alongside his son, Bronny James, whom Los Angeles selected with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. The elder James' contract includes a player option for the second season and a no-trade clause. In his age-39 campaign in 2023-24, James showed that he still has plenty left in the tank, averaging 25.7 points, 8.3 assists, 7.3 rebounds, 2.1 three-pointers and 1.3 steals in 35.3 minutes per contest over 71 regular-season appearances.

  • Kyle Anderson SF | MIN

Warriors' Kyle Anderson: Heading to Golden State

The Warriors are planning to sign Anderson to a three-year, $27 million contract in exchange for a second-round pick swap and cash considerations as a sign-and-trade with the Timberwolves on Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Anderson will head to Golden State after spending the previous two seasons in Minnesota. In 2023-24, the 30-year-old forward averaged 6.4 points, 4.2 assists and 3.5 rebounds in 22.6 minutes across 79 regular-season appearances, including 10 starts. After the departure of Klay Thompson, Anderson will likely compete for minutes in the Warriors' forward rotation with Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody.

  • Lakers' Jalen Hood-Schifino: Won't play in Summer League

The Lakers announced Tuesday that Hood-Schifino (back) isn't on the team's Summer League roster, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Hood-Schifino underwent a lumbar microdiscectomy surgery in March to repair a bulging disc in his back and appears to still be recovering. While the second-year guard isn't expected to play in Summer League, it is unclear if he will be healthy to begin the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Jonathan Isaac PF | ORL

Magic's Jonathan Isaac: Staying in Orlando

Isaac and the Magic agreed to a five-year, $84 million contract renegotiation and extension Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Isaac has spent the first five years of his career in Orlando and is now set to spend another five with the franchise. In 2023-24, the 26-year-old forward averaged 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 15.8 minutes across 58 regular-season appearances. While availability has always been an issue for Isaac, he is one of the NBA's best and most versatile defenders when on the floor.

  • Celtics' Xavier Tillman: Intends to reunite with Boston

Tillman agreed to a two-year deal with the Celtics on Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Tillman stepped up in Kristaps Porzingis' (foot) absence throughout the 2023-24 NBA Playoffs, and the former will return to the club as it aims to repeat the success from last year. The Celtics acquired Tillman via trade with the Grizzlies on Feb. 7, and he went on to average 4.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 13.7 minutes in 20 regular-season appearances with Boston.

  • Luka Doncic PG | DAL

Mavericks' Luka Doncic: Trible-double in loss to Croatia

Doncic posted 26 points (8-23 FG, 0-9 3Pt, 10-11 FT), 11 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal across 37 minutes in Slovenia's 108-92 loss to Croatia on Tuesday.

Doncic is known for his ability to do it all on a nightly basis. The All-Star accumulated 21 triple-doubles in the 2023-24 regular-season, and he has become a walking triple-double with the Mavericks throughout his six-year career. Doncic was a top MVP candidate last season, during which he averaged 33.9 points, 9.8 assists, 9.2 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 70 regular-season appearances. However, he shot just 0-for-9 from deep against Croatia, an issue he also had in the NBA Finals against Boston when he shot just 24.4 percent from three in five games.

  • Dario Saric PF | GS

    Dario Saric: Triple-double versus Slovenia

Saric accumulated 19 points (7-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-7 FT), 10 rebounds and 10 assists across 32 minutes in Croatia's 108-92 win over Slovenia on Tuesday.

Saric is currently an unrestricted free agent, and his play against Slovenia bodes well for his stock in free agency. The 30-year-old big man proved his worth as a passer and rebounder. His ability to play either position down low for whatever club he goes to next was also on display. Saric averaged 8.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 17.2 minutes over 64 regular-season games with the Warriors last season.

  • Vlatko Cancar SF | DEN

Vlatko Cancar: Back in action for Slovenia

Cancar (knee) tallied 12 points (3-7 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and one block across 22 minutes Tuesday for the Slovenian national team in a 108-92 loss to Croatia in a FIBA World Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Cancar missed the entirety of the 2023-24 season after undergoing surgery in August to repair a torn ACL in his left knee. The Nuggets declined his team option ahead of the 2024-25 season, but they haven't ruled out re-signing the 27-year-old wing. Cancar's ability to play for Slovenia in the qualifying tournament confirms that he's healthy again, and a strong showing this summer could improve his outlook in free agency. In his last healthy season with the Nuggets in 2022-23, Cancar appeared in 60 regular-season games and averaged 5.0 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 14.8 minutes.

  • Sidy Cissoko SF | SA

Spurs' Sidy Cissoko: Ready for SL after minor surgery

Cissoko underwent a minor knee surgery following the 2023-24 campaign but is expected to play for the Spurs during Summer League action, Jeff Garcia of KENS 5 San Antonio reports.

Cissoko dealt with a lingering knee issue for most of last season, so the surgery should have him feeling better ahead of 2024-25. The 2023 second-round pick out of France made 12 NBA appearances as a rookie, averaging 3.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 11.8 minutes per game.
