Adam Henrique seemed to be at the center of everything that happened in the New Jersey Devils 3-2 Game 7 win on Thursday night. He was the best player on the ice, and was making things happen every single time he touched the puck.

So it's kind of fitting that he was the player that ended up getting the game-winning goal in double overtime to send the Devils to the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs, where they will face the Philadelphia Flyers.

Here is the goal, which was Henrique's second of the game.

And a fantastic rookie season just keeps getting better. Henrique finished the regular season with 16 goals and 35 assists in 74 games and was recently named one of the finalists for the Calder Trophy. His two goals on Thursday were the first two of his playoff career, and they couldn't have come in a bigger game.

For the first six games this wasn't always the most entertaining series, but the two teams kind of made up for it with a pretty memorable Game 7. The Panthers overcame a 2-0 third period deficit to force overtime, and both teams exchanged chances throughout the overtime periods before Henrique was finally able to beat Jose Theodore for the winning goal.
