  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: One catch for third straight week

Jeudy caught one of five targets for 18 yards in Sunday's 21-14 loss to Cincinnati in Week 7. Jeudy ascended to the No. 1 receiver spot Sunday, the Browns' first game after the club traded Amari Cooper to Buffalo, but it didn't shake Jeudy out of a recent funk. He was limited to one catch for a third consecutive game, while he watched tight end David Njoku (14 targets) and Cedric Tillman (12) benefit the most from Cooper's departure. The game also featured a potentially season-ending injury to quarterback Deshaun Watson (Achilles') and an injury to backup Dorian Thompson-Robinson (finger), leaving the identity of the team's Week 8 starter to be determined. Jameis Winston, who finished up Sunday's loss, could be the starter against Baltimore next week, but the uncertainty at the position impacts Jeudy and the rest of the targets.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Contrarian DFS Play

The Bengals' defense is mediocre at best, which is much better than the Browns' passing game has been. But in Jeudy's first game without Amari Cooper, I would expect a season-high in targets, catches, and Fantasy points. If he gets into the end zone, he could legitimately be a top 24 wide receiver, and his price still reflects his pre-trade reality.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Ascends to No. 1 role

Jeudy is expected to become the Browns' new No. 1 wide receiver after Cleveland traded Amari Cooper to Buffalo on Tuesday, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports. Through the Browns' first six games, the former Bronco recorded just four fewer catches (20) and two fewer receiving yards (248) than Cooper, but the trade clears the way for Jeudy to serve as the clear top option. Fellow wideouts Elijah Moore (ribs) and Cedric Tillman, as well as tight end David Njoku, could also see their usage pick up to varying degrees, though poor quarterback play from Deshaun Watson caps the upside of the entire Cleveland passing game.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Another one-touch game

Jeudy caught one of three targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Eagles in Week 6. Jeudy was held to one catch for the second consecutive game and has just six targets over the last two weeks. It's become evident that Cleveland's offense is in disarray, and quarterback Deshaun Watson is a large part of the problem. For a silver lining, Nick Chubb (knee) is due back in Week 7, which could bring some harmony to the offense and have an impact on Jeudy and the rest of the receiving corps.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Held to one catch vs. Commanders

Jeudy caught one pass on three targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 34-13 loss to the Commanders. Jeudy saw seven targets in three of the first four games of the regular season, but he saw a season-low three targets during Sunday's blowout. Jeudy saw just one pass from Deshaun Watson in the second half as Cleveland's offense struggled to move the ball down the field, with its only touchdown coming during garbage time late in the fourth quarter. Jeudy and the Browns' offense will look to bounce back in Week 6 against a well-rested Eagles defense that will be coming out of its bye.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Good to go versus Washington

Jeudy (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Commanders, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Jeudy was listed as a full participant in practice all week, so there was never any concern for his Week 5 availability. Much like most members of Cleveland's passing offense, Jeudy has been a disappointment through four games, averaging 4.5 catches for 49.3 yards per contest while scoring just one touchdown. However, this matchup with Washington's secondary is one of the best the Browns will see all season.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Shows up on injury report

Jeudy was on Thursday's injury report as a full participant with a knee injury. Jeudy was similarly listed on Wednesday's injury report. The knee, which is a vestige of a training-camp injury, is not expected to hold him back Sunday against Washington. Jeudy has appeared in all four games thus far and has 18 catches (on 30 targets) for 197 yards and a touchdown.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Leading receiver in loss to LV

Jeudy turned nine targets into six receptions for 72 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to Las Vegas. Jeudy took a backseat to fellow starter Amari Cooper last week, but the former bounced back to lead the Browns in targets, receptions and yardage against the Raiders. Cleveland's passing game has been underwhelming in 2024 with Deshaun Watson under center, limiting Jeudy to 18 receptions (30 targets) for 197 yards and one touchdown through four games. Those numbers are good enough for those in deeper and PPR formats, but Jeudy lacks the upside to warrant "must-start" status in standard fantasy leagues heading into a Week 5 matchup against Washington.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Sleeper WRs

Jeudy took a backseat to Amari Cooper in Week 3 against the Giants and finished with just four catches for 27 yards on seven targets, but prior to that, he scored at least 11.5 PPR points in each of his first two games. I like him as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in Week 4 against the Raiders, who have already allowed four receivers to score at least 13 PPR points this season.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Sleeper WRs

Jeudy is off to a good start with the Browns with eight catches for 98 yards on 14 targets, and he's scored at least 11.5 PPR points in each game against Dallas and Jacksonville. This week, he has a favorable matchup against the Giants, and Jeudy is worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues. I'm hopeful this is also the week that Amari Cooper gets on track, and he's worth starting as a No. 2 receiver in all leagues. But Jeudy is worth using as a flier if he's been sitting on your bench to start the season.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Scores in Browns debut

Jeudy recorded three receptions on eight targets for 25 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 33-17 loss to the Cowboys. The Browns made it a point to get Jeudy involved in the offense in his Cleveland debut, as only Amari Cooper saw more targets. That didn't translate to much production, though Jeudy did manage a four-yard touchdown catch midway through the third quarter. Deshaun Watson's ineffectiveness in the face of pressure makes it difficult to trust Jeudy in a Week 2 clash with the Jaguars, even given the volume he saw.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Week 1 Waiver Priority List

Jeudy should benefit from a fresh start in Cleveland, and Deshaun Watson will hopefully lean on Jeudy as a primary target. The Browns have a lot of mouths to feed in Amari Cooper, David Njoku, Jeudy and Elijah Moore, but Jeudy could stand out with enough targets. I wouldn't overvalue him with his move to Cleveland, but he's not a bad receiver to stash on your bench.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Not suiting up Saturday

Jeudy isn't slated to play in Saturday's preseason game in Seattle, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. On Wednesday, coach Kevin Stefanksi said certain Browns starters had a chance to play this weekend, but the team ultimately will keep QB Deshaun Watson, WR Amari Cooper and TE David Njoku (undisclosed) on the sideline along with Jeudy. As a result, Jeudy's debut with Cleveland will have to wait until Week 1 on Sunday, Sept. 8 against the Cowboys after four campaigns in Denver in which he topped out with a 67-972-6 receiving line in 15 regular-season games back in 2022.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Participates in 7-on-7 drills

Jeudy (leg) will take part in 7-on-7 drills at practice Wednesday, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports. He'll be involved in 7-on-7 work for just the second time during training camp, as he's otherwise bounced between limited participation and time on the sideline due to a lingering leg injury. Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram relays that Jeudy also handled 1-on-1 reps in full pads Wednesday, so he now looks to be at or close to 100 percent health. Jeudy could thus be in line to make his Browns debut during Saturday's preseason game against the Vikings, though Cleveland elected to hold key starters including quarterback Deshaun Watson, wideout Amari Cooper and tight end David Njoku out from this past Saturday's exhibition opener against the Packers.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Returns to practice Monday

Jeudy (leg) is participating in Monday's practice, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports. Jeudy sat out this past Saturday's preseason opener against the Packers due to a leg injury, so it's encouraging to see him now back at practice. The veteran wideout has bounced on and off the practice field recently, sometimes as a full participant and sometimes while limited to individual drills, so it will be worth continuing to monitor his health. Jeudy's next chance to suit up for preseason action will come Saturday at home against the Vikings.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Not slated to face Packers

Jeudy (leg) is not in line to see action in Saturday's preseason opener against the Packers. Jeudy has been managing a leg issue, and with the Browns not slated to play several key skill players -- including fellow wide receivers Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore -- it's no surprise that Jeudy also won't be seeing snaps Saturday. Cedric Tillman, David Bell, Jamari Thrash, Jaelon Darden, Michael Woods, James Proche, Matt Landers and Ahmarean Brown are the team's available WRs versus Green Bay.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Limited at practice

Jeudy (knee) was limited at practice Friday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. After missing some time, Jeudy is being eased back into the mix, but his presence on the field both Thursday and Friday bode well for his chances of participating fully in practice before long. As the coming season approaches, Jeudy -- who signed a three-year extension with the Browns after coming over in a trade with the Broncos -- is slated to be a prime target for QB Deshaun Watson alongside top WR Amari Cooper, with Elijah Moore and Cedric Tillman also in line to garner their share of looks. In that context, Jeudy -- a 2020 first-rounder -- should have an opportunity to surpass the 54/758/2 receiving mark he recorded in 16 regular-season outings with Denver last season.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Doing individual drills

Jeudy (leg) is going through individual drills Thursday, with coach Kevin Stefanski saying the wideout is "close" to returning to practice, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports. Jeudy previously missed June minicamp and has yet to practice with his teammates at training camp, but it sounds like he'll get back on the field with plenty of time to spare before the start of the regular season. The Browns traded for him in March and gave him a three-year extension shortly thereafter, presumably making Jeudy their new No. 2 receiver after Elijah Moore struggled in the role last year.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Ramping up

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Saturday that Jeudy (leg) is "ramping up" and "close" to joining teammates on the field for practice, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Jeudy worked on the side with trainers for a third consecutive day Saturday. Stefanski added that the wide receiver is "getting better" without going into detail regarding the leg injury.

  • Browns' Jerry Jeudy: Dealing with leg issue

Jeudy worked on the side during Thursday's practice due to a leg issue, Zac Jackson of The Athletic reports. It's unclear if the leg is the same issue that forced Jeudy to miss time during June's minicamp. The injury does not appear to be a serious.
