  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Out this week

Goedert (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants. Goedert hasn't practiced since making an early exit from Sunday's 20-16 win over the Browns. He left after just three snaps, with fellow tight end Grant Calcaterra then handling a 92 percent snap share and 88 percent route share while catching each of his four targets for 67 yards. The potential to repeat that workload makes Calcaterra a reasonable lineup option for deep leagues and DFS.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Not practicing

Goedert (hamstring) didn't practice Thursday. Goedert left Sunday's 20-16 win over the Browns after playing just three snaps and has now missed back-to-back practices at the start of Week 7 prep. Grant Calcaterra will fill in as Philadelphia's top tight end in the likely event of Goedert missing Sunday's matchup with the Giants.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Won't practice Wednesday

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said that Goedert (hamstring) will not participate in practice Wednesday, but tight end hasn't been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Goedert was forced out of Philadelphia's 20-16 win over the Browns in Week 6 due to a hamstring injury after playing just three snaps. Though the Eagles will wait and see how Goedert progresses before deciding on his status for Sunday, he'll almost certainly need to participate in practice in at least a limited capacity Thursday and/or Friday to have any chance at playing against the Giants. Grant Calcaterra -- who caught all four of his targets for 67 yards versus Cleveland -- will likely start Week 7 if Goedert is unable to play.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Ruled out for remainder of Week 6

Goedert (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's matchup against Cleveland, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Goedert was injured on the third play of the game on a pass thrown his way that fell incomplete. He was initially deemed questionable to return before being ruled out shortly after halftime. With Goedert unable to return Sunday, Grant Calcaterra has taken over most of the work at tight end for Philadelphia. It's unclear at this time whether Goedert is at risk of missing next Sunday's clash with the Giants, and his participation during Week 7 prep should shed light on that matter.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Suffers hamstring injury

Goedert exited Sunday's game against the Browns due to a hamstring injury. Goedert departed after a failed hookup with QB Jalen Hurts on the first possession of the contest, visiting the sideline tent before going to the locker room without a helmet. If he's unable to return, Goedert will finish Week 6 with no catches on just one target.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Not on injury report

Goedert isn't listed on Wednesday's injury report and is on track to play Sunday against Tampa Bay, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports. Reports earlier Wednesday suggested Goedert wasn't practicing, but he was working out off to the side and eventually joined his teammates for a walkthrough session. The Eagles may have just been lightening his practice workload after a 170-yard explosion in the Week 3 win at New Orleans. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith suffered a concussion during the game and missed practice Wednesday, potentially leaving the Eagles without their top two pass catchers for Week 4. WideoutA.J. Brown is still recovering from a hamstring injury and also missed practice.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Not spotted at practice

Goedert is not participating in the open portion of Wednesday's walk-through practice, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports. Goedert is catching passes off to the side Wednesday, while A.J. Brown (hamstring) and DeVonta Smith (concussion) are both sitting out the session entirely. The tight end is coming off a career-best Week 3 performance against the Saints in which he secured 10 of 11 targets for 170 yards, and his availability will be of critical importance Sunday versus Tampa Bay if either or both of Brown and Smith can't go. The Eagles will release their first Week 4 practice report later Wednesday, when it will be known why Goedert was contained to working out off to the side.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Career-best day in win

Goedert brought in 10 of 11 targets for 170 yards in the Eagles' 15-12 win over the Saints on Sunday. Goedert was already expected to see an uptick in targets with A.J. Brown (hamstring) inactive, but he garnered an even bigger role in the air attack once DeVonta Smith exited the game in the second half with a concussion. Goedert recorded two receptions totaling 91 yards after Smith exited the contest, the second a critical 61-yard grab on third down that brought the ball down to the Saints' four-yard line with 1:16 remaining. Both Goedert's reception and receiving yardage totals were career highs, and he could be due for another busy afternoon if at least one of Brown or Smith is unable to suit up for a Week 4 road matchup against the Buccaneers.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

I was excited for Goedert in Week 2 against Atlanta with A.J. Brown (hamstring) out, but he was a disappointment with three catches for 38 yards on four targets. Greg Calcaterra nearly matched Goedert's production against the Falcons with two catches for 19 yards on two targets, and Goedert has to prove himself to Fantasy managers at this point before he's considered a must-start option. He's a low-end starter at best in Week 3 at New Orleans even with Brown likely out again.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Gains 38 yards on three catches

Goedert caught three of four targets for 38 yards in Monday's 22-21 loss to the Falcons. Goedert finished as the Eagles' second-leading receiver now that the team will be without the services of star wideout A.J. Brown (hamstring) for multiple weeks. The starting tight end has turned in two pedestrian fantasy scores through two games this season, but fantasy managers shouldn't give up on the 2018 second-round pick so quickly, as the team has a need for auxiliary targets behind DeVonta Smith for Sunday's tilt against the Saints.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Grabs four balls in win

Goedert had four receptions (on five targets) for 31 yards in Friday's 34-29 win over the Packers. Goedert was dealing with an oblique injury late in the preseason schedule, but he did not appear on the Eagles' injury report leading up to Friday's tilt in Brazil. The athletic tight end did not appear limited on the field, catching 80 percent of his opportunities. Fantasy managers will be hoping for more production from Goedert in Philadelphia's next matchup against Atlanta on Monday, Sept. 16.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Still not practicing

Goedert (oblique) is not practicing Thursday, Brooks Kubena of The Athletic reports. Goedert has missed just over a week of practices with an oblique injury, leaving him just eight days to get healthy ahead of Philadelphia's regular-season opener against the Packers in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Sept. 6. The Eagles are likely taking a cautious approach to the starting tight end's health, given his integral role on offense, but his status will be worth closely monitoring when the team's first official practice reports of the regular season are released next week. Grant Calcaterra is the only other health tight end on the team's 53-man roster Thursday, but more additions are likely on the way.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Bothered by oblique

Goedert missed Wednesday's practice with an oblique injury, Bob Brookover of The Newark Star-Ledger reports. Goedert missed three games in November and December of last season due to a forearm fracture, but the oblique injury is the first known health concern that the tight end has tended to ever since. He's missed multiple games four seasons in a row, but never more than five in any one season. Goedert will have 16 days to recover from the oblique injury before the Eagles open their season with a matchup with the Packers in Sao Paulo, Brazil on Sept. 6.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: No action in second preseason game

Goedert did not play in Friday's 14-13 preseason win over the Patriots. Goedert has been a full participant at training camp, but Philadelphia's first-team offense hasn't yet been called up for preseason action. The starting tight end is coming off a 2023 campaign in which he suited up for 14 regular-season games and put together a 59-592-3 receiving line. He's situated to again work as one of the Eagles' key skill-position starters, along with wideouts A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and new running Saquon Barkley.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Catches only TD for PHI

Goedert finished with four receptions (on six targets) for 21 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 32-9 playoff loss to the Buccaneers. Goedert caught the only touchdown pass Jalen Hurts would throw against the Buccaneers in what turned out to be a dud of a game from the Eagles. The tight end generated some fantasy value for DFS players with his postseason score, putting a nice garnish on an otherwise bland fantasy regular-season campaign (59-592-3). Goedert will look to expand on his new career high of 59 receptions in the final year of his current contract with the Eagles in the upcoming 2024 season.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Minor role in Week 18

Goedert caught one pass for four yards in Sunday's loss to the Giants. Goedert needed only one catch to set a new career high in receptions (59), and one catch is all he got. While he'll end the year with a personal best in that category, his 592 yards represent his lowest mark since his rookie season, while his three touchdowns tied a career low. He also missed three games this season, bringing his total to 14 games missed over the last four years.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: TEs to Start

Goedert will be my No. 1 ranked tight end this week if DeVonta Smith (ankle) is out. Goedert has come alive in the past two games with 12 catches for 118 yards and a touchdown on 15 targets, and he scored at least 14.1 PPR points in each outing, including Week 16 against the Giants. Even if Smith plays I would still start Goedert in all leagues, and the Giants have allowed four tight ends to score at least 10.4 PPR points in their past four games.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Team-high seven grabs Monday

Goedert caught seven of nine targets for 71 yards in Monday's 33-25 win over the Giants. The seven catches led the Eagles on the day as Goedert put together his best performance in three games since returning from a forearm injury. The tight end is only six receptions from setting a new career high of 59, a mark he could reach Week 17 against the Cardinals.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

In two games back following his three-game absence with a forearm injury, Goedert only has eight catches for 60 yards on 13 targets against Dallas and Seattle. We'll see how he does in Week 16 against the Giants, but this is actually a tough matchup. The Giants are No. 5 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and Goedert doesn't have a great history in this matchup. In his past five games against the Giants, Goedert has 17 catches for 172 yards and no touchdowns, and he's averaging just 6.8 PPR points over that span. Goedert is only worth starting in deeper leagues.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Inefficient with nine targets

Goedert secured four of nine targets for 30 yards in the Eagles' 20-17 loss to the Seahawks on Monday night. Goedert finished with the second-most targets on the night for the Eagles yet did little with them, leading to his second straight 4-30-0 line. The veteran tight end's target total tied a season high, but Goedert has now been at 50 receiving yards or less in four straight contests heading into a Week 16 home matchup against the Giants on Christmas Day.
