The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season will not officially begin until the Daytona 500 later this month, but fans get to experience a unique exhibition race at the 2024 Busch Clash at the Coliseum on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET in Los Angeles. The 0.25-mile track has produced two different winners in the first two years of the event, and there are 23 drivers in the 2024 Clash at the Coliseum field. The race was moved up from Sunday to Saturday due to weather. Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin and Kyle Larson are the 9-1 co-favorites in the 2024 Clash at the Coliseum odds, while every other driver on the NASCAR odds board has a double-digit price.

Tyler Reddick was in position to win the 2022 Clash before dealing with a mechanical failure and he added a sixth-place finish last year in his first season with 23XI Racing. Reddick is a 20-1 longshot in the 2024 Busch Clash at the Coliseum odds. Should you include him in your 2024 Clash at the Coliseum bets? Before scouring the 2024 Clash at the Coliseum starting lineup and making any 2024 NASCAR at the Coliseum predictions, be sure to see the latest 2024 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum picks from SportsLine's proven projection model.

Developed by daily Fantasy pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary NASCAR prediction model simulates every race 10,000 times, taking into account factors such as track history and recent results.

McClure's model was red-hot in 2023, nailing Martin Truex Jr.'s Clash win (20-1) as well as his win in New Hampshire (11-2), Joey Logano's Duel win (8-1), Kyle Busch's Fontana victory (10-1), Denny Hamlin's triumph in Kansas (6-1) and Kyle Larson's wins at Martinsville (6-1) and the NASCAR All-Star Race (13-2). The model correctly predicted winners in two of the playoff races as well, with Ryan Blaney scoring a 12-1 payout at Talladega and Larson winning at 9-2 in Las Vegas. It also impressively nailed five of Larson's wins during his historic season in 2021.

All told, the model has nailed a whopping 15 winners since 2021. Anyone who followed its lead on those NASCAR picks saw huge returns.

Now, the model simulated the 2024 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum 10,000 times. Head to SportsLine to see the complete projected NASCAR at the Coliseum leaderboard.

Top 2024 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum predictions

For the 2024 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum, the model is high on Ryan Blaney, even though he's an 12-1 longshot in the latest 2024 NASCAR at Los Angeles odds. The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion has more momentum than any driver heading into the 2024 campaign, breaking through with three victories last year. He took the checkered flag at Talladega, Charlotte and Martinsville, with two of those wins coming in the playoffs.

Ford and Penske have both done well at this track, and Blaney has ties to both. He will be looking to become the first defending Cup Series champion to win the Daytona 500 since Dale Jarrett in 2000, so maintaining his momentum in this exhibition will be a goal for him. Blaney is the top driver in the sport right now, making him a valuable longshot.

And a massive shocker: Christopher Bell, one of the Vegas favorites at 9-1, stumbles big-time and barely cracks the top 10. Bell has a dirt racing background and he's been effective on short tracks in his career, winning at Martinsville in 2022 and posting seven top-five finishes in 20 career starts on short tracks.

However, he finished eighth in the Clash at the Coliseum in 2022 and was 13th in this race last season. He's also coming off a disappointing 36th-place finish in his last race at Phoenix after crashing while racing for a championship. There are far better values in the 2024 Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum starting lineup. See which other drivers to avoid and the rest of the projected NASCAR leaderboard at SportsLine.

How to make 2024 NASCAR at Los Angeles picks

The model is also targeting two other drivers with 2024 NASCAR Los Angeles odds of 12-1 or longer to make a serious run at the checkered flag. Anyone who backs these drivers could hit it big. You can see all of the model's NASCAR picks over at SportsLine.
