Marlins' Austin Kitchen: Claimed by Miami
The Marlins claimed Kitchen off waivers from the Rockies on Tuesday and optioned him to Triple-A Jacksonville, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Kitchen was up briefly with the Rockies recently but didn't make an appearance. The left-handed reliever holds a 3.00 ERA and 1.27 WHIP through 33 innings at Triple-A Albuquerque this season.

Rockies' Austin Kitchen: DFA'd by Rox
The Rockies designated Kitchen for assignment Sunday.
Just a day after joining the Rockies' active roster, Kitchen will be jettisoned off the 40-man in order to make room for Kyle Freeland (elbow), who was reinstated from the injured list Sunday. The 27-year-old Kitchen holds a 3.00 ERA and 1.27 WHIP through 33 innings at Triple-A Albuquerque and will likely clear waivers and remain in the organization.

Rockies' Austin Kitchen: Contract selected by Colorado
The Rockies selected Kitchen's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday.
Across 23 games in Triple-A this season, Kitchen has a 3.00 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 33 innings. He will provide the Rockies with a southpaw option out of the bullpen. To make room for Kitchen, Colorado designated right-hander Geoff Hartlieb for assignment in a corresponding move.
