Mariners' Cole Young: Three more RBI in Wednesday's win
Young went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored, three RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Twins.
The 22-year-old second baseman extended his RBI streak to six games with some late-inning heroics, as he brought home Dominic Canzone with a seventh-inning double before putting Seattle in the lead for good with a two-run single in the top of the ninth. Young's surge has boosted his slash line on the season to .286/.357/.420 through 32 contests with three homers, two steals, 19 RBI and 20 runs.

The 22-year-old has now hit safely in three straight games after going hitless in his previous four. On the season, he's slashing .243/.349/.378 with two home runs, 11 RBI, 14 runs scored and a stolen base across 86 plate appearances.

Mariners' Cole Young: Launches three-run shot
Young went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 8-7 extra-innings loss against the Angels.
Young delivered a huge swing, blasting a three-run homer in the fifth inning off Brent Suter to give Seattle the lead. It was the 22-year-old's second home run of the season, and he now has eight RBI through the early stretch. After managing just four long balls and 24 RBI across 257 plate appearances last year, Young's power has been an encouraging development early. The second baseman has been a steady presence at the plate, going 10-for-36 while recording a hit in eight of his first 10 games, showing consistency early in his second season at the major-league level.

Mariners' Cole Young: Three hits Monday
Young went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Monday's 2-1 win over the Yankees.
Young opened the scoring Monday with a two-out single off Ryan Weathers in the second inning, tallying his fourth RBI through five games this year. Young has carried over his strong spring training performance into the regular season -- he's now 6-for-18 (including 3-for-6 against left-handed pitching) with a home run as he's settled into an everyday role at second base.

Mariners' Cole Young: Belts three-run homer
Young went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Friday's 5-1 win over the Guardians.
Young was held hitless Thursday, going 0-for-3 with three strikeouts to start the season. He bounced back with a go-ahead blast in the fourth inning Friday, the fifth homer of his young major-league career. The second baseman launched six homers and added 18 RBI over 19 games in spring training, so there's some power potential, though he'll likely be negatively impacted by playing half his games at T-Mobile Park. He posted a .607 OPS, four homers, 24 RBI, 24 runs scored and one stolen base over 257 plate appearances during the 2025 regular season. Young looks to have a clear path to at-bats versus right-handed pitchers this season, and a strong start to the year could make him a near-everyday player.

Mariners' Cole Young: Huge day vs. Guardians
Young went 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs, a double, five total RBI and four total runs scored in Friday's 20-8 Cactus League victory over the Cleveland.
Young started the Mariners' offensive outburst with a solo shot off Logan Allen in the second inning before blasting a two-run, 478-foot moonshot off Matt Festa in the sixth. Young has been on a tear this spring, batting .349 (15-for-43) with six homers in his last 13 Cactus League games. The 22-year-old infielder seems to have locked up a spot on Seattle's Opening Day roster, especially with J.P. Crawford's (shoulder) status still up in the air.

Mariners' Cole Young: Homers Sunday
Young went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer in Sunday's Cactus League game against the Rangers.
It had been a tough start to the spring for Young, who'd gone 0-for-8 with six strikeouts in his first four contests before launching a 442-foot homer off lefty Jacob Latz in the first inning Sunday. The 22-year-old Young continues to battle with top prospect Colt Emerson for the the final starting infield job. Young opened camp as the favorite, though his slow start may have closed the gap. Young appeared in 77 regular-season games as a rookie last year, batting .211 with a .607 OPS, four homers and one stolen base across 257 plate appearances.
