Houck (7-6) took the loss Saturday, coughing up eight runs (seven earned) on nine hits -- including three home runs -- and a walk over 4.1 innings as the Red Sox were routed 11-1 by the Padres. He struck out six.

Manny Machado took him deep twice, while Jackson Merrill also chipped in a long ball. Houck had served up only two homers all season coming into Saturday, and even with this performance, the right-hander sports a 2.67 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 105:19 K:BB through 107.2 innings on the season. He'll try to keep the ball in the park in his next start, but that could be easier said than done as he faces the Yankees on the road next weekend.

Hancock (back) didn't factor into the decision in a start with Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, allowing five hits and three walks with two strikeouts across 5.1 scoreless innings.

Hancock was removed from his last start for Tacoma with lower-back tightness but wasn't forced to miss a turn in the rotation. The 25-year-old was a candidate to be called up after Bryan Woo (hamstring) was placed on the IL, but the Mariners opted to recall Jhonathan Diaz instead. It's unclear if Hancock's back flare-up impacted the Mariners decision. Hancock owns a 1.64 ERA across seven starts with Tacoma.

Hill went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Orioles.

Hill briefly put the Rangers ahead 2-1 when he took Cade Povich deep in the fifth inning. Hill has hit safely in each of his three games since he was recalled from Triple-A Round Rock, though he's also struck out four times over 10 plate appearances in that span. He's hitting .263 (5-for-19) with two stolen bases in the majors this year, and he's likely to function as a fourth outfielder as long as he's up with the Rangers.

Garcia went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a double in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Orioles.

Garcia's blast got the Rangers within a run in the eighth inning, but they failed to tie the game. The outfielder has hit safely in eight of the last nine games, going 10-for-35 (.286) with three homers and four RBI in that span. He's still slashing just .220/.280/.422 on the year with 16 long balls, 44 RBI, 43 runs scored, six stolen bases and 12 doubles across 79 contests.

Lowe went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Orioles.

Lowe has four multi-hit efforts over his last nine games, a span that also includes two of his four homers this year. The first baseman has never displayed elite power, but his .369 slugging percentage for the season is low even by his standard. He's at least been fairly consistent at the plate, batting .262 with 27 RBI, 25 runs scored, two stolen bases and 11 doubles over 62 contests.

Lorenzen (4-4) allowed five runs on four hits and four walks while striking out three over five innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Orioles.

Lorenzen gave up a solo home run to Anthony Santander and a grand slam to Heston Kjerstad. This outing ended a few impressive stretches for Lorenzen -- it was the first time in nine starts he's allowed more than three runs, and it was the first time in his last four appearances that he's issued multiple walks. Given his success this year, to the tune of a 3.40 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 58:35 K:BB over 82 innings across 14 starts, it's safe to assume this was just a poor start against a tough opponent. He'll look to rebound in his next outing, which is projected to be at home versus the Rays.

Santander went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an RBI double, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Rangers.

Santander got the Orioles on the board with a second-inning homer, and his RBI double in the seventh provided a key insurance run. He may never want June to end -- he's batting .274 (29-for-106) with 13 homers and 26 RBI across 27 contests this month. The incredible surge has him up to 22 homers, 55 RBI, 46 runs scored, 14 doubles and no stolen bases through 78 games this season, though he's still batting a middling .233 despite his .813 OPS.

Kjerstad went 1-for-1 with a grand slam, two walks and a hit-by-pitch in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Rangers.

Kjerstad's slam came in the fifth inning to give the Orioles a 5-2 lead. It was the first grand slam of his career, and he's now homered in his last two games, both coming against Texas. The 25-year-old prospect has added seven RBI, three runs scored, no stolen bases and a 5:8 BB:K across 33 plate appearances this season. The left-handed-hitting Kjerstad has gotten looks in both corner outfielder spots as well as at designated hitter, and he's poised to compete with Colton Cowser for playing time while Austin Hays is battling knee soreness.

Kimbrel walked two in a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Rangers.

Kimbrel hadn't walked multiple batters in an outing since May 8, but he was able to pitch his way out of trouble. He's allowed two runs (one earned) while posting a 13:5 K:BB over 9.1 innings in June, converting six of his seven chances this month. Kimbrel is up to 19 saves with a 2.37 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 44:14 K:BB through 30.1 innings overall. Kimbrel has pitched three of the last four days, so he may not be available if a save situation arises Sunday. With Jacob Webb, Yennier Cano and Cionel Perez also having pitched Friday and Saturday, there could be an opportunity for Dillon Tate or Bryan Baker to get a look in a high-leverage spot.

Povich (1-2) allowed two runs on five hits and struck out three without walking a batter over five innings to earn the win Saturday over the Rangers.

He gave up a couple of solo home runs, but Povich ended up earning his first career win after Heston Kjerstad put the Orioles ahead with a grand slam in the fifth inning. After allowing six runs in his debut, Povich has given up a total of six runs across his last four outings. He's at a decent 4.05 ERA with a 1.24 WHIP and 17:10 K:BB through 26.2 innings over five starts. The Orioles had discussed going to a six-man rotation before a rough stretch of pitching injuries in June, so it's unclear if Povich will stick around in the majors once Dean Kremer (triceps) returns from the injured list, which could happen next week.
