Jets' Malachi Corley: Plays sparingly as rookie
Corley caught three of six targets for 16 yards and rushed twice for 26 yards in nine games in 2024.
Corley didn't see the field much as a rookie, and what would have been his best play was marred by a brain cramp, as he celebrated prematurely and dropped the ball before crossing the goal line on an 18-yard run against the Texans in Week 9. The 2024 third-round draft pick out of Western Kentucky was known for gaining yards after the catch in college, but Corley didn't get many chances to showcase those skills in his first NFL season.

Jets' Malachi Corley: Past elbow injury
Corley (elbow) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice estimation, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Corley sustained an elbow injury in the Jets' Week 17 loss to the Bills, but him being listed as a full participant in the team's walkthrough practice Wednesday suggests he's already moved past the issue. The 2024 third-round pick from Western Kentucky has appeared in just nine games this season, recording five touches for 82 yards over 80 offensive snaps. He's expected to serve as a depth piece in the Jets' wide receiver room for the Week 18 matchup against the Dolphins.

Jets' Malachi Corley: Dealing with elbow issue
Corley sustained an elbow injury during Sunday's game at Buffalo, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Corley was forced out of Sunday's contest early, and he was unable to log any offensive snaps in Week 17. The Jets' first official practice report of the week Wednesday should provide some insight into his potential availability for Week 18 versus the Dolphins.

Jets' Malachi Corley: Good to go
Corley (coach's decision) is listed as active for Sunday's matchup with the Rams. Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Corley has been a healthy scratch the previous two weeks for New York. However, he will operate as the No. 5 option Sunday behind Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams, Allen Lazard and Xavier Gipson. Barring any injuries ahead of him, the pass catcher does not figure to make much of an offensive impact.

Jets' Malachi Corley: Inactive again in Week 15
Conley (coach's decision) is a healthy inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Randy Lange of the Jets' official site reports.
The Jets will keep five receivers active ahead of Corley, who will be a healthy scratch for the second week in a row. The third-round pick out of Western Kentucky has been a major disappointment during his rookie season, having played just 80 snaps on offense while being inactive for six of the Jets' first 14 games in coach's decisions.

Jets' Malachi Corley: Healthy scratch for Week 14
Corley (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Despite playing a season-high 38 snaps on offense against the Seahawks in Week 13, the decision to have Corley inactive Sunday is in large part due to the Jets activating Allen Lazard off injured reserve Saturday. The Jets have opted for Xavier Gipson and Irvin Charles as their depth wide receivers behind Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams and Lazard. Corley's next opportunity to play will be Week 15 against the Jaguars on Sunday, Dec. 15.

Jets' Malachi Corley: Does little with decent snap share
Corley didn't catch either of his two targets and added an eight-yard run in Sunday's 26-21 loss to the Seahawks.
Corley played 41 snaps on offense (60 percent) to Xavier Gipson's 19, suggesting that the rookie third-round pick has become the Jets' preferred option in the slot for the stretch run. While the increased playing time is encouraging, Corley has yet to capitalize. He has just 42 career scrimmage yards, and Corley's most notable play to date was an 18-yard run on which he celebrated prematurely and threw the ball away just before crossing the goal line back in Week 9.

Jets' Malachi Corley: Good to go for Week 13
Corley (illness) does not have an injury designation heading into Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
Corley missed Wednesday's practice due to an illness, but he was a full participant in the last two sessions of the week and will be able to play Sunday. The rookie third-rounder will continue to serve as the Jets' No. 4 wide receiver behind Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams and Xavier Gipson.

Jets' Malachi Corley: Appears past illness
Corley (illness) was listed as a full practice participant Thursday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Corley popped up on Wednesday's injury report due to an illness, but it appears the rookie third-round wide receiver is no longer under the weather. Corley has logged two catches (on three targets) for 12 yards over the Jets' last two regular-season games.

Jets' Malachi Corley: DNP with illness Wednesday
Corley (illness) did not practice Wednesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
After fumbling what would have been his first career touchdown out of the back of the end zone in Week 9 against the Texans, Corley has seen his offensive involvement tick upward over the last two contests, securing his second and third career catches for a total of 12 yards on 28 offensive snaps as the fourth wideout behind Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams and Xavier Gipson. Irvin Charles would be next up for snaps if Corley can't play against Seattle.

Jets' Malachi Corley: Makes third NFL catch
Corley caught his only target for 10 yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Colts.
Corley was on the field for 12 snaps while Xavier Gipson played 27, suggesting Gipson still has the edge over the rookie third-round draft pick for playing time in the slot. Neither depth option has produced much this season with Garrett Wilson, Davante Adams and Breece Hall accounting for the vast majority of the Jets' offense on a consistent basis. Corley has just three catches heading into the Week 12 bye.
