  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Few touches after injury scare

Flowers caught his only target for 11 yards and rushed once for 19 yards in Monday's 41-31 win over the Buccaneers. Flowers appeared to hurt his ankle on his 19-yard run in the second quarter. He stayed in the game and couldn't corral a backward pass in the fourth quarter on a play that went down as a Lamar Jackson fumble. Flowers' lack of involvement was especially disappointing considering Jackson threw five touchdown passes, but it's likely that the ankle injury had something to do with Flowers' quiet night. With that context in mind, Flowers' Week 8 status will bear monitoring as he has one fewer day than usual to recover before facing the Browns.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: WRs to Start

Flowers has three games this season with double digits in targets, and he scored at least 19 PPR points in two of them, including Week 5 at Cincinnati when he had seven catches for 111 yards on 12 targets. I'm hopeful Lamar Jackson will give Flowers double digits in targets again in Week 6 against Washington since the Commanders are No. 7 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. Six receivers have scored at least 15.5 PPR points against Washington this season, and I expect Flowers to make it seven in Week 6.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Just one catch on SNF

Flowers brought in one of two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 35-10 win over the Bills. Flowers turned in another dud following last week's 3-20-0 receiving line against the Cowboys. The 2023 first-round pick racked up 13 receptions for 128 yards and a touchdown in his first two games, so there is hope for the sophomore to break out of his brief slump. Flowers could be in line for more work in a road matchup against the Bengals' high-powered offense Sunday.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: WRs to Start

Flowers didn't have to do much in Week 3 at Dallas, with Derrick Henry doing the heavy lifting, and Flowers finished with three catches for 20 yards on four targets, which was his first game this season with single digits in targets. He had 10 targets for six catches and 37 yards in Week 1 at Kansas City and 11 targets for seven catches, 91 yards, and a touchdown in Week 2 against Las Vegas. This week, Flowers should be heavily targeted again, and I would trust him as a No. 2 receiver in a potential shootout with Buffalo.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Held quiet by Cowboys

Flowers recorded three catches on four targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 28-25 win over the Cowboys. He added one rush for three yards. Flowers had seen strong target volume in the first two weeks of the season, though game script dictated otherwise Sunday. The Ravens attempted only 15 passes as opposed to 45 rushes, leaving all of the team's pass catchers with limited volume. Positively, Flowers still tied for the team lead in targets, and a Week 4 matchup against Buffalo is likely to dictate that Baltimore takes to the air more often.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: WRs to Start

Flowers is off to a solid start this season with 21 targets in two games against Kansas City and Las Vegas, and he has 13 catches for 128 yards and a touchdown over that span while averaging 16.6 PPR points per game. This game has the potential to be a shootout with a projected score of 48.5, and Flowers would be in a great spot if the Ravens are chasing points and struggling to run the ball. I like Flowers as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Paces pass catchers in loss

Flowers brought in seven of 11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 26-23 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. Flowers' line looked like that of a No. 1 receiver in a victory, as the second-year wideout continued to look the part while recording team highs in receptions, receiving yards and targets. However, the Ravens went on to blow a 10-point lead in the second half, which had been established with Flowers' eight-yard touchdown grab early in the fourth quarter. Despite the disappointing outcome, Flowers' fantasy stock is strong heading into a Week 3 road showdown against the Cowboys next Sunday.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Sleeper WRs

It was great to see Flowers get 10 targets in Week 1 at Kansas City, and he had six catches for 37 yards. I'm hoping for a similar amount of targets in Week 2 against the Raiders but with a better stat line, especially the yards. In his past five home games going back to last year, including the playoffs, Flowers has scored at least 18 PPR points in three of them, so hopefully, he stays hot at home in Week 2. I like Flowers as a high-end No. 3 receiver in all leagues.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Stays busy in Week 1 loss

Flowers secured six of 10 targets for 37 yards and rushed twice for 14 yards in the Ravens' 27-20 loss to the Chiefs on Thursday night. Flowers was the runner-up in both receptions and targets on the night for the Ravens, although the overwhelming majority of his catches were very close to the line of scrimmage. The second-year wideout did look explosive with the ball in his hands and ready to resume or even expand the robust role he enjoyed as a rookie in 2023, when he logged 85 touches across 16 regular-season games and another 11 in two playoff contests. Flowers will aim to up his efficiency at the expense of the Raiders in a Week 2 home battle on Sunday, Sept. 15.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Not likely to play Saturday

Head coach John Harbaugh suggested Wednesday that Flowers and other key starters aren't likely to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Falcons, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Flowers was among the team's starters not to see action in this past Friday's exhibition opener against the Eagles, and he doesn't look on track to play any snaps this weekend, either. As the coming season approaches, Flowers is slated to start alongside fellow wideout Rashod Bateman, a role that should allow the second-year pro to see steady targets from quarterback Lamar Jackson. As a rookie, Flowers compiled a 77-858-5 receiving line across 16 games, numbers that he'll have a good chance to eclipse provided he can stay healthy in 2024.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Sitting out Saturday

Flowers (calf) is listed as inactive Saturday against the Steelers. Flowers played through a calf injury during the Ravens' Week 17 win against the Dolphins en route to three catches (on three targets) for 106 yards and one touchdown on a 66 percent share of snaps. Having said that, he wasn't able to practice during Week 18 prep due to the same issue, and with the team having locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC, he'll be afforded two weeks off to get healthy for a divisional-round matchup Saturday, Jan. 20 or Sunday, Jan. 21.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Sits out another practice

Flowers (calf) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. The Ravens won't release their final injury report of the regular season until later Thursday, but after failing to practice in any fashion this week, Flowers appears to be trending toward sitting out Saturday's game against the Steelers. With Baltimore having already clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, the team can afford to take a cautious approach with banged-up players like Flowers, who will presumably be closer to 100 percent by the time the Ravens play their first postseason game in the divisional round. Even if Baltimore chooses to make Flowers active against the Steelers, the rookie wideout may play only limited snaps, if any.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Still not practicing Wednesday

Flowers (calf) didn't practice Wednesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. After the Ravens estimated him as a non-participant on Tuesday's practice report due to a calf issue, Flowers remained on the sideline one day later as the team reconvened for actual on-field work ahead of Saturday's regular-season finale against the Steelers. Baltimore is locked in as the No. 1 seed in the AFC side of the playoffs, so if the team has any qualms about Flowers' health, it may err on the side of caution and hold him out this weekend with an eye toward having him healthy for the divisional round.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: DNP on practice estimate

Flowers (calf) was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's estimated injury report. Flowers kicked off Week 17 prep in the exact same situation, following it up with a true DNP and then logging a limited session before the Ravens considered him questionable for this past Sunday's game against the Dolphins. He was active though and he didn't look worse for wear en route to three catches on three targets for 106 yards and a touchdown. There's been no indication that Flowers is in danger of sitting out Saturday versus the Steelers, but with Baltimore having nothing to play for and locked into the top seed in the AFC for the playoffs, they may be more cautious this time around with the rookie wideout.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Eclipses century mark in win

Flowers brought in all three targets for 106 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 56-19 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. Flowers got behind the Dolphins' short-handed secondary for a 75-yard touchdown late in the first half that extended the Ravens' 14-13 lead at the time. The rookie wideout's yardage total was a new career high, and if Flowers does indeed sit with some other Ravens starters in Week 18 now that Baltimore has clinched the AFC's No. 1 seed, he'll finish his first regular season with an impressive 77-858-5 line across 16 games.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: In clear for Sunday's game

Flowers (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. The rookie wideout carried a questionable designation into Sunday after the calf injury kept him from practicing Wednesday and Thursday before he returned to the field Friday as a limited participant. Despite the light practice activity this week, Flowers won't be forced to miss the first game of his career, though the Ravens' decision to keep a sixth receiver (Laquon Treadwell) active for Week 17 could hint that the former might have his snaps managed. Flowers drew a season-high 13 targets in the Ravens' Week 16 win over the 49ers, hauling in nine passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Start Him (Lineup Decisions)

Flowers' massive target share last week against the 49ers was partially because the Ravens run game couldn't get going. That's something I remember noticing earlier in the year, and something the Ravens have seemingly rediscovered. The Dolphins run defense has been really good this season, so I suspect we'll see Flowers used similarly this week. That means increased volume with a chance at some big plays. The Dolphins pass defense was tough against the Jets two weeks ago but struggled with the Cowboys last week, especially on shorter throws. Flowers is a low-end WR2 with large upside; I'd start him over Calvin Ridley, the Steelers WRs, Tyler Lockett and Drake London.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Questionable after limited practice

Flowers (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Flowers got back on the practice field Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday, but he managed only a limited session, so the rookie could be in danger of missing a game for the first time in his NFL career. Final word on Flowers' availability may not come until 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff between the 11-4 Dolphins and 12-3 Ravens.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Back at practice Friday

Flowers (calf) returned to practice Friday, Brian Wacker of the Baltimore Sun reports. Flowers didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, so it's encouraging that he's practicing Friday, though his participation level has yet to be clarified. The rookie wideout has yet to miss a game in his NFL career, but he may carry an injury designation into Sunday's home game against the Dolphins when the Ravens post their Week 17 injury report later Friday.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Misses another practice

Flowers (calf) isn't practicing Thursday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. The Ravens haven't indicated that Flowers is in danger of sitting out Sunday's game against the Dolphins, but the rookie receiver's lack of activity in both of the team's first two Week 17 practices isn't the most encouraging sign for his health. Flowers would assuage some of the concern about his status for Sunday if he's able to get back on the field Friday in any capacity. He's coming off one of his stronger outings of the season in the Ravens' 33-19 win over the 49ers on Monday, when he hauled in nine of 13 targets for 72 yards and a touchdown.
