Texans' Derek Stingley: Makes All-Pro team in 2024
Stingley finished the 2024 season with 54 tackles (37 solo) and 18 pass breakups, including five interceptions, across 17 regular-season games.
After missing a total of 14 games due to injuries across his first two NFL seasons, Stingley made all 17 starts in 2024 and went on to make his first Pro Bowl in addition to being named a first-team All-Pro at cornerback. Stingley is likely to have his fifth-year club option for 2026 exercised this offseason, but he's also a strong candidate for an extension coming off a huge campaign. Stingley will undoubtedly be in the mix to become the league's highest-paid cornerback whenever he does sign a new deal.

Texans' Derek Stingley: Picks off Tagovailoa twice in win
Stingley finished Sunday's 20-12 win over Miami with five tackles (three solo) and two interceptions.
Both of Stingley's interceptions came in the fourth quarter on passes from Tua Tagovailoa that were intended for top wideout Tyreek Hill. Stingley's second pick took place in the last two minutes of the game, which sealed Houston's win. Stingley is now up to five interceptions through 14 regular-season games, four of which have come over the last four games. He'll look to add to that total against the Chiefs on Saturday.

Texans' Derek Stingley: Makes impactful pick in win
Stingley recorded two tackles and three passes defensed, including an interception, in Sunday's 23-20 win over Jacksonville in Week 13.
Stingley returned his pick 31 yards to give Houston a short field at Jacksonville's 44-yard line. That led to the second of three Ka'imi Fairbairn field goals, giving Houston a 6-0 lead. It was the second interception in three games for Stingley, who has three for the season. All three have led to points (one TD, two FG).

Texans' Derek Stingley: Playing in Week 12
Stingley (hip) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Titans.
Stingley practiced in full Friday after beginning the Texans' week of practice with back-to-back limited sessions, so it appears he's moved past his hip injury in time to suit up in Week 12. The third-year pro has impressed through Houston's first 11 games this season, recording 36 total tackles and 12 passes defended, including two interceptions. Expect Stingley to serve as the Texans' top outside cornerback in Sunday's divisional matchup.
