Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Early TD sparks offense
Bateman brought in both of his targets for 24 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 28-14 playoff win over the Steelers.
Bateman got the scoring started for the Ravens when he brought in a 15-yard pass from Lamar Jackson to cap off a successful first drive on offense. The 25-year-old Bateman was used sparingly over the remainder of the contest despite operating as the team's No. 1 wideout sans Zay Flowers (knee). With the Ravens advancing to the divisional round, Flowers could potentially return next weekend. In that scenario, Bateman's elevated fantasy value from the wild-card round would return to marginal levels as opposed to carrying over to Baltimore's next matchup.

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: In line for No. 1 role
Bateman will work as the team's No. 1 wideout during Saturday's wild-card round game against the Steelers, with Zay Flowers (knee) ruled out, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Bateman stepped up admirably after Flowers' departure against the Browns in Week 18, a 35-10 victory in which he secured five of eight targets for 76 yards and a score. Tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely also will be available to help make up for Flowers' absence in the passing game, but Bateman figures to have no shortage of opportunities to produce on a playoff stage Saturday. The 2021 first-round pick is coming off the best regular-season of his career, having compiled a 45-756-9 receiving line in 17 appearances.

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Leading receiver in comfortable win
Bateman corralled five of eight targets for 76 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 35-10 victory over the Browns.
Bateman suffered a slight injury scare after taking a hard hit over the middle of the field in the first half of Saturday's win. The 26-year-old was checked for a head injury and promptly returned to the contest. Bateman wound up tying his season high in targets (eight) after Zay Flowers (knee) left the game in the second quarter. If the latter is forced to miss Baltimore's first playoff game, Bateman could be in line for an increased role in next weekend's contest against either the Chargers or the Steelers. The Minnesota product finishes the regular season with a 45-756-9 line in 17 games.

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Minimal usage in blowout
Bateman secured his lone target for a 12-yard gain in the Ravens' Christmas Day win over the Texans.
The Ravens built an insurmountable lead on the Texans, resulting in the starters taking a breather for much of the fourth quarter. This explains Bateman's 27 snaps, which marked a season-low. Lamar Jackson had just 15 pass attempts and 10 completions, so there simply weren't many opportunities available for any Ravens pass catcher. Bateman and the Ravens return home to face the Browns in Week 18 with a chance to clinch the AFC North.

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Notches eighth touchdown
Bateman caught one of three targets for 14 yards and a touchdown Saturday against the Steelers.
Though listed on the injury report with a foot injury going into the game, Bateman was able to play a healthy 81 percent of the snaps. He also notched his eighth touchdown of the season, adding to his career year. His eight touchdowns tie him for ninth in the league. Bateman and the Ravens have a quick turnaround as they will face the Texans in Houston on Christmas Day.

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Active versus Steelers
Bateman (foot) is listed as active for Saturday's game against the Steelers.
After being a full participant Tuesday, Bateman was limited at practice Wednesday before being deemed a non-participant Thursday as well as questionable for Saturday's contest. Per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com, the 2021 first-rounder was spotted wearing a walking boot in the locker room Thursday, but Bateman has evidently progressed to the point that he'll be available to face Pittsburgh after all. It remains to be seen if he'll be limited at all in the process, but Bateman's presence in any capacity bolsters a Ravens wideout corps that also features Zay Flowers, with Tylan Wallace, Devontez Walker and Anthony Miller on hand to provide support in the absence of Nelson Agholor (concussion) and Diontae Johnson, who the team waived Friday.
