Tryon-Shoyinka posted five tackles (four solo) in the Buccaneers' 40-17 win over the Chargers on Sunday.
Tryon-Shoyinka generated a solid performance in his return from a two-game absence due to an ankle injury. The fourth-year edge rusher's tackle total was a new season high, but Tryon-Shoyinka remains a middling IDP option with a modest 23 tackles (14 solo), including 2.0 sacks, two passes defensed and one forced fumble across 12 regular-season games.

Tryon-Shoyinka (ankle) was listed as active ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Tryon-Shoyinka missed the last two contests with an ankle sprain that he suffered Week 12 versus the Giants. The 25-year-old will now return and reprise his role as one of Tampa Bay's starting outside linebackers. Across 11 appearances this season, Tryon-Shoyinka has logged 1 tackles and two sacks.

Tryon-Shoyinka has been deemed questionable to play Sunday versus the Chargers, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Tryon-Shoyinka hasn't played since injuring his ankle Week 12 against the Giants. He was able to log a trio of full practices this week, however, which has given him a chance of returning to action Sunday. If Tryon-Shoyinka is able to suit up against Los Angeles, Jose Ramirez could see the small amount of snaps he's been getting the past two weeks dry up.

Tryon-Shoyinka (ankle) was estimated as a full participant in Wednesday's practice walkthrough, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Tryon-Shoyinka suffered an ankle sprain Week 12 against the Giants and missed the Week 13 contest versus Carolina. He came close to returning to action this past Sunday versus the Raiders after logging a full practice to end the week, but he was ultimately held out of action. However, with Tryon-Shoyinka deemed a full practice participant Wednesday, it seems likely that he'll be able to play Sunday against the Chargers.

Tryon-Shoyinka (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
Despite logging a full practice Friday, Tryon-Shoyinka will be sidelined for a second straight game due to a high-ankle sprain he suffered in Week 12 against the Giants. Anthony Nelson and Chris Braswell are the top candidates to start at outside linebacker Sunday opposite Yaya Diaby due to Tryon-Shoyinka's injury.
