Hill wasn't as productive in Week 2 against Las Vegas (5.2 PPR points) as he was in Week 1 at Kansas City (11.5 PPR points), but the matchup with Dallas in Week 3 might be a better game script for him if the Ravens are chasing points. It would be interesting to see what Baltimore would do with Hill if Derrick Henry ever had to miss any time, but Hill is a potential PPR flex any week you think the Ravens will be throwing more than running, which could happen against the Cowboys. In PPR, Hill is worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Seeing plenty of playing time
Rotowire
Hill had four carries for 22 yards and caught both of his targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 26-23 loss to the Raiders.
Once again, Hill out-snapped Derrick Henry by a count of 35-30 in a loss. Hill wasn't as involved in the passing game this time around, though, as his target count dropped from eight to two. Baltimore still is finding its identity on offense with a rebuilt offensive line and the addition of Henry to the mix, but Hill seems to be in line for a healthy snap share for the time being thanks to his complementary skill set to that of Henry's. The Ravens face the Cowboys in a Week 3 game that is teetering on being a must-win for Baltimore.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Week 2 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
Hill could end up being a flex option in PPR if he continues to have a big role in the passing game for the Ravens. In Week 1 at Kansas City, Hill had six catches for 52 yards on eight targets, and he added one carry for 3 yards. Derrick Henry remains the lead running back for Baltimore, but Hill will work on passing downs. And Hill could be a lottery ticket if Henry were to miss any time. Hill is worth stashing in PPR leagues for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Active in passing game Thursday
Rotowire
Hill had one carry for three yards and added six receptions for 52 yards on eight targets in Thursday's loss to the Chiefs.
Fantasy managers were surprised to see Hill actually out-snap Derrick Henry, 43-37. The Ravens were in a catch-up script for much of the game, however, and Hill's pass-catching chops and blitz pickup ability get him on the field in those scenarios. Henry will take on a larger share of the offense going forward, but Hill is positioned to be the passing-down back at least until Keaton Mitchell (knee) returns. With that, Hill may have some appeal for the time being in deeper leagues with full PPR scoring.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Week 1 Adds (RB Preview)
Rotowire
No one wants to believe Hill will be involved despite the fact that the Ravens keep telling us he will be. I expect he's more involved in the games the Ravens are playing from behind and they are three-point underdogs in Week 1 against the Chiefs. There won't be many more weeks where they're underdogs. Hill is a deep league flex only, but he does have contingent upside if Henry misses time.

Ravens' Justice Hill: In line for key complementary role
Rotowire
Coach John Harbaugh noted Thursday that Hill will maintain a valuable role in the backfield rotation behind Derrick Henry, Clifton Brown of the Ravens' official site reports. "He is a high caliber running back. So, to have him along Derrick, along with the young guys, it's really great. He's going to give us a little different style than Derrick Henry," Harbaugh noted of Hill, adding "I think he's going to play a lot and kind of do it his way."
Though Henry profiles as the team's clear lead back, with Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins no longer in the mix and Keaton Mitchell still recovering from a knee injury, Hill is poised to have a key complementary role in Baltimore's backfield out of the gate in 2024. Also competing for depth touches behind Henry are fifth-round rookie Rasheen Ali and Owen Wright. In 16 regular-season contests last season, Hill carried 84 times for 387 yards and three TDs, while adding 28 catches (on 39 targets) for 206 yards and a receiving score.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Joined by No. 1 option in backfield
Rotowire
Hill will likely handle a secondary role in the Baltimore backfield in 2024 after Derrick Henry agreed to a two-year contract with the Ravens on Tuesday, Brian Wacker of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Though they allowed Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins (Achilles) to reach free agency, the Ravens moved quickly to add a true No. 1 running back in Henry, whose size and power will complement Lamar Jackson's elusiveness. After Dobbins went down with a season-ending injury Week 1, Hill stepped into an elevated role out of the backfield and finished with career highs in carries (84) and rushing yards (387) while scoring three times on the ground. The addition of Henry will make it tough for Hill to replicate that rushing workload, though his pass-catching skills should make him the Ravens' clear top option on passing downs, at least until Keaton Mitchell (knee) completes his recovery from the torn ACL he suffered in December.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Enjoys career year in 2023
Rotowire
Hill finished the 2023 regular season with career highs for carries (84), rushing yards (387), rushing touchdowns (three), catches (28), receiving yards (206) and receiving touchdowns (one).
Hill was Baltimore's running back of choice for obvious passing situations for most of the season, though rookie Keaton Mitchell (knee) took some of that work away from early November to mid-December before suffering an ACL tear. The fifth-year back also ended up with a larger-than-expected role in the rushing game, especially early in the season after J.K. Dobbins suffered a torn Achilles' tendon Week 1. The two-year, $4.5 million contract Hill signed in March ended up working out well for the Ravens, as he played nearly as many snaps on offense (436) as in his first four NFL seasons combined (554). Hill could play more on special teams and less on offense in 2024, though that's far from a certainty with both Dobbins and Gus Edwards scheduled for unrestricted free agency. Hill is due for a non-guaranteed $2 million base salary and $500,000 in per-game roster bonuses for the second and final season of his contract.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Strong performance in playoff win
Rotowire
Hill rushed the ball 13 times for 66 yards in Saturday's 34-10 win over the Texans. He also had two receptions on two targets for 11 yards.
Hill led the Ravens' backfield while matching his highest carry total of the season and recording his highest yardage total of the campaign. He was particularly effective running out the clock late in the game, as he accounted for 42 yards in the final quarter. Hill also remained involved as a pass catcher and has commanded multiple targets in five of his last six contests. He should split work with Gus Edwards once again in the AFC Championship Game while squaring off with either the Chiefs or Bills, though it's worth noting that newcomer Dalvin Cook saw eight carries Saturday. Also, Edwards appeared to leave the game due to some issue in the fourth quarter.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Paces team in targets
Rotowire
Hill caught three of 10 targets for 26 yards in Saturday's loss to the Steelers.
Hill did not factor into the carry rotation Saturday but did lead the team in targets in what was an anomalous game for the Ravens with Tyler Huntley at quarterback. In Weeks 16 and 17, Hill commanded a 22 percent rushing share in the wake of Keaton Mitchell's season-ending injury. Hill has been active in the passing game throughout the season and that should continue when the Ravens return to action in the divisional round, but his rushing usage has been sporadic all year as well. Gus Edwards projects to be first in line for carries during the postseason but Hill can still be a fantasy factor with a small rushing workload to go with his passing game role.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Stellar all-around day Sunday
Rotowire
Hill rushed three times for 48 yards and secured all five targets for 64 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 56-19 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. He also returned two kickoffs for 101 yards.
Hill was highly efficient overall while providing a 20-yard touchdown grab in the first quarter to erase an early 7-0 deficit and ignite the Ravens' offense on what would be a prolific afternoon. The versatile veteran was explosive as both a rusher and returner as well, but he could take a seat in Week 18 against the Steelers with the Ravens now in possession of the AFC's top seed.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Week 17 Waiver Priority List
Rotowire
In the first game without Keaton Mitchell (knee) in Week 16 at San Francisco, Hill had 10 carries for 26 yards and three catches for 31 yards on three targets. He had more total touches than Gus Edwards (nine carries and one catch), but Edwards will continue to work at the goal line and have more upside. The Ravens have a tough matchup in Week 17 against Miami, so Hill is just a desperation flex, but he should have the chance for double digits in touches again in tandem with Edwards.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Earns 13 touches
Rotowire
Hill rushed the ball 10 times for 26 yards in Monday's 33-19 win over the 49ers. He added three receptions (on three targets) for 31 yards.
Hill led the Baltimore backfield with 13 touches but managed only 57 total yards. He was extremely inefficient on the ground, averaging only 2.6 yards per attempt with his longest rush going for six yards. His work as a pass catcher was more noteworthy, as he tallied his highest target count since Week 8. Gus Edwards will almost certainly maintain the goal-line role moving forward, meaning Hill will have to rack up yards and receptions to be fantasy-relevant for the final two weeks of the regular season.

Ravens' Justice Hill: One catch on 30 snaps
Rotowire
Hill recorded a 12-yard reception on two targets and didn't log any carries while playing 30 snaps on offense in Sunday's 37-31 overtime win over the Rams.
Though the touches were minimal for Hill, he was on the field plenty Sunday. Baltimore clearly finds value in his versatility in terms of pass catching, change-of-pace running and pass blocking, much to the chagrin of fantasy managers invested in Gus Edwards or Keaton Mitchell. In fact, Hill actually led all Ravens running backs in snap count against the Rams even though both Mitchell and Edwards had more fantasy usage. Hill has just one game since the season opener with double-digit carries, and that's unlikely to change with Mitchell and Edwards healthy. Do not mistake Hill's consistent snap count for fantasy upside.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Effective in limited role
Rotowire
Hill carried five times for 31 yards in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Chargers.
Hill's role remains diminished with Keaton Mitchell's ascent in the offense as the veteran played just 29 percent of the snaps Sunday. He has not played more than 30 percent of the snaps since Week 9 against the Seahawks. Hill was effective on a per-carry basis against the Chargers, but there appears to be a cap on his weekly volume projection with Mitchell, Gus Edwards and Lamar Jackson taking on the bulk of the backfield work. The Ravens are on a bye Week 13 before returning to action Sunday, Dec. 10 against the Rams.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Role diminishing in offense
Rotowire
Hill had one carry for one yard and one catch for six yards on 13 snaps Thursday against the Bengals.
As many expected with Keaton Mitchell's emergence, Hill's role in the offense is taking a significant cut. Hill has played 13 snaps in each of the last two games, with four combined touches. Mitchell and Gus Edwards appear to be Baltimore's primary backs going forward, leaving Hill to play a reserve role and special teams.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Handles two carries in loss
Rotowire
Hill rushed two times for seven yards and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 33-31 loss to the Browns.
Hill played just 14 of the Ravens' 54 offensive snaps Sunday, while Gus Edwards played 28 snaps and rookie Keaton Mitchell played 13 snaps in the contest. The veteran's two rushing attempts and seven yards were his lowest in both categories for the season, while Mitchell continued to show that he should earn more playing time as an explosive playmaker. Going forward, Hill could continue to cede snaps and touches to the rookie, further limiting his potential for consistent production. The 26-year-old will be difficult to trust for fantasy purposes when the Ravens host the Bengals in Week 11.

Ravens' Justice Hill: High snap count, low production Sunday
Rotowire
Hill had 13 carries for 40 yards in Sunday's win over the Seahawks and did not catch his lone target.
While Hill led the Ravens in carries and played the most snaps among running backs, he finished fourth on the team in rushing yardage. Gus Edwards was strong on a per-play basis, rushing for 52 yards and two touchdowns on five carries. However, it was rookie Keaton Mitchell who stole the show and may post the biggest threat to Hill's role going forward. Mitchell took nine carries for 138 yards and a touchdown in his first significant workload of the season. Hill has been solid to this point with a 4.3 YPC average and 15 catches on 16 targets, but Mitchell's emergence Sunday could alter the Ravens' backfield calculus down the stretch. Baltimore hosts a tough Cleveland defense in Week 10.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Sleeper RBs
Rotowire
Gus Edwards is worth using as a No. 2 Fantasy running back in Week 9 against Seattle, but this won't be an easy matchup. It's tough to run on the Seahawks, so we could see Hill more involved in the passing game. He just had four catches for 40 yards on four targets in Week 8 against Arizona, and four running backs have at least four receptions against Seattle this season. I like Hill as a flex option in PPR.

Ravens' Justice Hill: Week 9 Adds (RB Preview)
Rotowire
Gus Edwards is getting a lot more carries than Hill, but Hill is still the better pass catcher and it is much easier to catch passes as a running back against Seattle than it is to run. They surrender a league-best 3.13 yards per carry to running backs but they give up more than 8.5 PPR FPPG to the position through the air.
