  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Productive on low volume

Pittman caught three of five targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 16-10 win over the Dolphins.

As expected. Pittman didn't see significant target volume with Anthony Richardson back under center for the Colts, but the wideout was able to make an impact with a 33-yard grab just before halftime and a 21-yard catch in the fourth quarter that each helped set up field goals. Pittman put together a 14-185-2 line on 22 targets over three games with Joe Flacco at the helm of the offense, but if he continues to show increased chemistry with Richardson on deep balls, he might be able to maintain that level of production.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Cleared to play Sunday

Pittman (back) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Pittman didn't practice Wednesday and Friday due to the back injury and was listed as questionable heading into the weekend, but a full session Thursday likely cleared up any lingering concern about his health heading into Sunday. Though Pittman is unlikely to face any restrictions with his snaps Sunday, the return of Anthony Richardson (oblique) to the lineup after missing the past two games could limit Pittman's fantasy appeal. While Richardson was healthy and played the entirety of Weeks 1 through 3, Pittman managed just 11 receptions for 88 yards and no touchdowns on 20 targets before he saw his production take off with Joe Flacco directing the offense for most of the past three contests.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Appears likely to play Sunday

Pittman (back) is listed as questionable but is considered likely to play Sunday against the Dolphins, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Schefter's report aligns with what James Boyd of The Athletic previously reported Friday, but it's further confirmation that Pittman appears to be on the right side of the questionable tag ahead of Sunday's date with Miami. The Colts are going back to Anthony Richardson under center, which can't be viewed as a positive for Pittman's fantasy prospects after he posted receiving lines of 4-31-0, 3-21-0 and 4-36-0 across Weeks 1 through 3 with Richardson at the controls. Pittman has 100 yards and/or one touchdown in all three games with Joe Flacco either starting or playing most of the contest.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Not practicing Friday

Pittman (back) was present but not participating in Friday's practice, according to Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star.

Pittman practiced fully Thursday, so it's possible that his non-participation Friday is rest-related rather than indicative of a setback. The Colts' upcoming injury report thus is slated to reveal the Week 7 game statuses of Pittman and fellow WRs Josh Downs (toe) and Alec Pierce (shoulder).

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Likely to play Sunday, barring setback

Pittman, who is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Dolphins, is expected to play this weekend as long as he doesn't have a setback with his back injury, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

After a back issue emerged for Pittman last week, there was a belief that he'd miss multiple weeks and perhaps even be placed on injured reserve. He was able to buck that report and suit up this past Sunday at Tennessee, logging a healthy 80 percent snap share and gathering in three of five targets for 35 yards and one touchdown. During Week 7 prep, Pittman sandwiched DNPs around a full practice Thursday, ultimately getting a questionable designation ahead of the weekend. Before Pittman was given that tag, though, coach Shane Steichen told Boyd, "Yeah, he'll be out there," in reference to the wide receiver's ability to suit up. A game-time decision thus seems likely for Pittman, and his status will be clarified about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. If he's available, he'll be welcoming back franchise QB Anthony Richardson (oblique) for the first time since Week 4, and Pittman's usage could be impacted by the fact fellow WRs Josh Downs (toe) and Alec Pierce (shoulder) also are listed as questionable.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Questionable but expected to play

Pittman (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, but coach Shane Steichen said Friday that Pittman is expected to play, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Pittman played through the back injury and caught the game-winning touchdown in this past Sunday's 20-17 win over the Titans. He didn't practice Wednesday or Friday but logged a full session Thursday in between. The wide receiver should continue to tough it out Sunday, but he's less than fully healthy and will be catching passes from Anthony Richardson (oblique) rather than Joe Flacco against a Dolphins secondary that has allowed only three touchdowns through the air this season.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Full practice participant

Pittman (back) was a full practice participant Thursday.

Pittman will continue playing through his back injury Sunday against the Dolphins, but his fantasy value takes a hit with Anthony Richardson expected to step back in ahead of Joe Flacco at quarterback. Pittman accounts for 31.9 percent of the targets from Richardson this year, but just 13 of those have been completed -- for 148 yards and no TDs -- and Pittman's share of the passing game has declined some since Josh Downs returned from an ankle injury Week 3. Pittman nonetheless had his three best fantasy scores of the season the past three weeks, benefitting from more passing volume and a higher completion rate with Flacco under center.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Back at practice

Pittman (back) is participating in Thursday's practice, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Pittman is back at practice Thursday after having missed Wednesday's session, with the same going for fellow starting wideout Josh Downs (toe). During Indianapolis' win over the Titans in Week 6, Pittman played through his back injury and corralled three of five targets for 35 yards and a touchdown. It looks like Pittman will again attempt to play through his back issue Sunday versus Miami, a game in which Anthony Richardson should be back in the starting lineup.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Not practicing

Pittman (back) isn't practicing Wednesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Pittman played through the injury Sunday against the Titans, catching three of five targets for 35 yards and a touchdown while running routes on a team-high 84 percent of dropbacks. Reports last week suggested a stint on injured reserve was being considered for Pittman, but the receiver looks like he'll try to play through his back injury for the time being. The Colts host the Dolphins this Sunday.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Records TD in win

Pittman secured three of five targets for 35 yards and a touchdown in the Colts' 20-17 win over the Titans on Sunday.

Pittman went from being reportedly considered for a stint on injured reserve due to a back injury early in the week to filling his usual No. 1 receiver role Sunday. While his catch and yardage totals left plenty to be desired, Pittman helped salvage the day for fantasy managers with a tough 10-yard touchdown grab just past the midway point of the fourth quarter, a score that proved to be the difference in the game. Pittman will look to record a touchdown for the third consecutive contest when Indianapolis welcomes in the Dolphins in Week 7.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Gets green light to play Sunday

Pittman (back) is active for Sunday's game against the Titans.

Even though reports earlier this week suggested that Pittman's back injury would cost him multiple games -- and potentially result in his placement on injured reserve -- the wideout's condition evidently improved quicker than anticipated over the past few days. After sitting out practices Wednesday and Thursday, Pittman returned to the field Friday as a full participant en route to taking a questionable tag into the weekend. With Pittman experiencing no setbacks coming out of Friday's practice, he's now on track to handle his usual role as the Colts' No. 1 wideout Sunday. With Anthony Richardson (oblique) inactive as the Colts' emergency No. 3 quarterback for the second week in a row, Pittman will be on the receiving end of passes from veteran Joe Flacco, who draws another start. While Flacco took the majority of the snaps under center Weeks 4 and 5, Pittman put together a 11-150-1 receiving line on 17 targets, well ahead of the production he turned in from Weeks 1 through 3 with Richardson directing the offense (11-88-0 on 20 targets).

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: On track to play Sunday

Pittman (back) remains listed as questionable but is expected to be active Sunday against the Titans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Per Rapoport, Pittman is dealing with a back issue that initially was thought to be something that could sideline the wideout multiple weeks. However, after putting in a full practice Friday, Pittman is trending toward active status. The Colts will confirm his status when the team posts its inactive list 90 minutes before Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.
