  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Scores twice in Week 7 win

Andrews caught all four of his targets for 41 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's 41-31 win over the Buccaneers. Andrews caught a nine-yard touchdown in the second quarter before adding a four-yard score in the third. The veteran tight end has three touchdowns in his last two games after opening the season on a five-game touchdown drought, and Andrews has 11 catches over that three-game span after posting only six catches through Week 4. Andrews still is ceding more snaps than in previous seasons to Isaiah Likely, but at least the recent uptick in production has Andrews back in the usable range for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 8 trip to Cleveland.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Finds end zone Sunday

Andrews caught three of four targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Commanders. The veteran tight end put together his most productive game of the season, highlighted by a 13-yard TD grab just before halftime -- Andrews' first touchdown of the year. He still has yet to see more than five targets in a game, and his role as a pass catcher will likely take a back seat to his blocking assignments as long as Baltimore continues to make Derrick Henry the focal point of the offense. Andrews could still be able to carve out decent numbers again in Week 7 against the Buccaneers.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: TEs to Sit

Even when Andrews wins he still loses. He snapped his two-game streak without a catch in Week 5 at Cincinnati with four receptions for 55 yards on five targets, but he watched as Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar combined for three touchdowns. Andrews will hopefully start to produce on a consistent level moving forward, but I don't consider him a No. 1 Fantasy tight end in Week 5. The Commanders are also No. 5 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, with Jordan Akins in Week 5 the lone tight end to score against Washington this year.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Four grabs in OT win

Andrews caught four of five targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 41-38 overtime win over the Bengals. After being blanked in Weeks 3 and 4 while seeing a meager two total targets, Andrews was more involved as a pass catcher Sunday and set a season high in receiving yards. As though to rub salt in the wound for those with fantasy shares in him though, three of Lamar Jackson's four passing TDs on the day went to other Baltimore tight ends, with Isaiah Likely bringing in two and little-used No. 3 TE Charlie Kolar hauling in a two-yard score in the fourth quarter. It's still a performance that Andrews can try to build on in Week 6 against the Commanders.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Early season slump continues

Andrews dropped his only target in Sunday's 35-10 win over the Bills. Andrews uncharacteristically dropped a sure catch that hit him in the hands early in Sunday's lopsided victory. The All-Pro tight end still helped his team to victory with several key blocks in front of Derrick Henry (24-199-1) and the rest of Baltimore's rushing attack. That said, the perennial fantasy stud has faded in 2024 to the tune of a 6-65-0 receiving line through four weeks, providing no relief for fantasy managers who took him early in drafts. Andrews will perhaps re-establish trust with both fantasy GMs and his MVP quarterback when the Ravens visit the Bengals in Week 5.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Blanked in Week 3

Andrews did not record a catch on one target in Sunday's 28-25 win over Dallas. Baltimore attempted only 15 passes after maintaining a significant lead for the majority of the matchup. That limited volume for all of Baltimore's pass catchers -- including Isaiah Likely -- but the performance still continued an alarming start to the season for Andrews. In three games, he's commanded only eight targets while racking up 65 yards.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Four catches in loss

Andrews brought in four of five targets for 51 yards in the Ravens' 26-23 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. As was the case in the Week 1 loss to the Chiefs, Andrews took a while to get going Sunday before finishing as the Ravens' second-leading pass catcher across the board thanks to his work in the second half. The veteran tight end doubled up position mate Isaiah Likely, who'd outperformed him in Week 1, in receptions, and he fell just one yard short of doing the same in that category. Andrews figures to be a key part of the passing game in a Week 3 road matchup against the Cowboys during which a desperate Ravens offense will have to be aggressive.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Quiet night to open season

Andrews brought in both targets for 14 yards in the Ravens' 27-20 loss to the Chiefs on Thursday night. Carrying out his most robust workload since mid-November of last season, Andrews looked somewhat rusty at times and was even on the sideline for some key moments in the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, fellow tight end Isaiah Likely, who thrived in Andrews' injury absence down the stretch in 2023, took over the air attack to the tune of a team-best 9-111-1 line. Naturally, a one-game sample isn't an ironclad indication of how usage between the two will unfold throughout the season, but it wouldn't be inconceivable for Andrews to cede appreciably more snaps and/or targets to Likely than he ever would have before going down with a serious ankle injury Week 11 of last season.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Cleared for Thursday

Andrews (undisclosed) is not listed on the Ravens' injury report ahead of Thursday night's season opener against the Chiefs. Andrews, who was involved in a car accident Aug. 14, was back at practice Friday, and with his name not listed on Monday's practice/injury report, the tight end is in line to be available to face Kansas City in Week 1. As long as he can stay healthy this coming season, Andrews will remain a key receiving target for QB Lamar Jackson along with top WRs Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, a context that keeps him firmly in the weekly fantasy lineup mix.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Retakes practice field

Andrews (undisclosed) is participating in Friday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Andrews is practicing for the first time since having been involved in a car accident Aug. 14. The Ravens released a statement declaring that Andrews was uninjured in the incident, so his absence from practice for the last two weeks seems to have been mostly precautionary. The star tight end now has six days left to ramp up his activity level ahead of Thursday's regular-season opener against the Chiefs.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Absence downplayed Monday

Coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Andrews (undisclosed) is "going to be fine" and called his absence from practice "minor," Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Andrews was involved in a car accident last Wednesday, and though the standout tight end was reportedly uninjured, he hasn't practiced since. It's possible Andrews is simply dealing with soreness or something minor unrelated to last week's incident. In any case, there doesn't seem to be any concern about Andrews' status for Week 1. Baltimore's starters have rested throughout the preseason, meaning Andrews' final chance to log exhibition action will come Saturday on the road against Green Bay.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Doesn't do pregame warmups

Andrews (undisclosed) didn't go through pregame warmups ahead of Saturday's preseason game against Atlanta, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. The Ravens announced that Andrews was uninjured after a car accident Wednesday, but it's possible he's now dealing with some soreness. He wouldn't have played Saturday in any case, as the Ravens are resting most of their starters and some key backups.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Uninjured in car accident

The Ravens announced that Andrews was involved in a car accident Wednesday and did not sustain any apparent injuries. Andrews joined team meetings Wednesday morning following the accident. The standout tight end was initially scheduled for a non-practice day Wednesday, and he's expected to return the field "in the coming days." Andrews looks to have emerged from a potentially dangerous situation without serious aftereffects, and while the Ravens may opt for caution rather than rushing him back to practice, the team doesn't seem to have any true concern about his health or upcoming availability. Baltimore will take on the Falcons at home in a preseason matchup Saturday.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Not likely to play Friday

Andrews is among the Ravens' key starters not expected to see action in Friday's preseason opener against the Eagles, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. As Zrebiec points out, coach John Harbaugh has approached the exhibition slate with caution over the past two years, and that doesn't seem likely to change this time around. In the case of Andrews, the star tight end is a proven veteran who had injury issues last season, so it makes sense to limit his exposure to preseason snaps ahead of Week 1.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Limited to two grabs in return

Andrews (leg) secured both targets for 15 yards in the Ravens' 17-10 AFC Championship Game loss to the Chiefs on Sunday. Andrews' remarkable recovery and return from a significant mid-November leg injury culminated in an underwhelming performance, with Lamar Jackson often facing pressure from the Chiefs' aggressive front and Andrews, along with the rest of Baltimore's pass catchers, struggling to get open. The fact the talented tight end managed to get healthy enough to suit up is certainly encouraging from a longer-term perspective, however, and Andrews is expected back next season, albeit with a hefty $16.9 million cap hit, in what will be the fourth year of a five-year deal that he signed before the 2021 season.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Fully cleared for Sunday

Andrews (leg) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Chiefs. The Ravens removed Andrews from injured reserve earlier Friday, with head coach John Harbaugh clarifying shortly thereafter that he intended for the tight end to play. Andrews' lack of designation heading into Sunday confirms that he'll be available for the AFC Championship Game, a development that doesn't come as much of a surprise after the tight end was listed as a full participant on every practice report since last Wednesday. According to Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site, Andrews declined to comment Friday on what his snap count might look like Sunday, leaving it unclear if he'll return to his pre-injury role or cede snaps to highly capable backup Isaiah Likely. Either way, Andrews will be playing in his first game since suffering a fibula fracture and ankle ligament injury in a Nov. 16 win over the Bengals in Week 11.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Activated from IR

The Ravens activated Andrews (ankle) from injured reserve Friday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Andrews, who the Ravens reportedly expect to make his return to the field during Sunday's AFC Championship Game matchup against Kansas City, is now officially eligible to do so now that he's back on the active roster. The star tight end was designated for return from injured reserve Jan. 12 and has since put forth a number of full practice sessions. Those are all positive indications that Andrews, who at this point looks fully on track to suit up Sunday, may be able to hit the ground running in his first NFL action since Week 11.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Won't return Saturday

The Ravens didn't activate Andrews (ankle) from injured reserve ahead of Saturday's divisional-round contest against the Texans, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Andrews has been on injured reserve since cracking his left fibula and suffering ligament damage in his left ankle Nov. 16, but Baltimore opened his practice window last Friday and he followed that up with an LP/FP/FP practice regimen this week. The Ravens will continue to exercise caution with their top tight end, with his next game action contingent on his teammates securing a spot in the AFC Championship Game. In the meantime, Isaiah Likely and Charlie Kolar will continue to handle TE reps for the Ravens.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Not expected to suit up Saturday

The Ravens are not expected to activate Andrews (ankle) in time for Saturday's divisional-round playoff matchup against the Texans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Andrews was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday, but Baltimore reportedly doesn't plan to activate him from IR by Friday's 4:00 p.m. ET deadline. The standout tight end is working his way back from a significant ankle injury suffered Nov. 16, and it looks like a more realistic target for his return could be the AFC Championship Game, should the Ravens beat Houston and advance that far. If Andrews is indeed sidelined Saturday, it will fall to Isaiah Likely, who has scored five times in his last five appearances, to operate as Lamar Jackson's starting TE.

  • Ravens' Mark Andrews: Upgrades to full practice

Andrews (ankle) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Andrews returned to practice last Friday and continued practicing this week, with head coach John Harbaugh noting that the tight end looked especially good during a limited session Tuesday. The 28-year-old apparently made enough of an impression to upgrade to full participation one day later, and with no report of a setback, he could practice fully again Thursday. The Ravens will need to activate Andrews from injured reserve by Friday in order for him to play in Saturday's divisional-round playoff game against Houston, which is taking place two months and four days after he suffered a major ankle injury Week 11.
