Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Logs 23/12 double-double
Sabonis had 23 points (11-19 FG, 1-3 3Pt), 12 rebounds, four assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Monday's 116-96 loss to San Antonio.
Sabonis led the league in double-doubles last season and extended his current streak to 10 games in the loss. While Sabonis delivered a strong fantasy total, he struggled to contain Victor Wembanyama, who out-rebounded him in the paint.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Double-double streak at eight
Sabonis accumulated 23 points (9-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds, six assists and one steal in 38 minutes during Friday's 107-98 loss to the Clippers.
Another game, another double-double or better for Sabonis, who has reeled off eight straight after falling two boards short in the Kings' season opener. The 28-year-old big has seen his usage rate drop a little with DeMar DeRozan in the mix for Sacramento, but Sabonis has compensated with even better efficiency, and he's on pace to post career bests with a 64.4 percent FG% and 84.3 percent FT%.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Balls out with triple-double
Sabonis posted 17 points (6-6 FG, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, 13 assists and one steal in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 122-107 victory over Toronto.
Sabonis led the league in triple-doubles last season, out-dueling Nikola Jokic for that honor. Jokic has a head start in the category, so the total was timely for the premier big man. He now has three triple-doubles to his credit and has dipped below double-digit rebounds only once over the first eight games of the season.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Extends double-double streak
Sabonis produced 16 points (6-12 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 16 rebounds and seven assists over 38 minutes during Monday's 111-110 win over the Heat.
Sabonis hit the game-winning bucket off an offensive rebound, a perfect encapsulation of the effort he brings on every possession. He led the NBA in double-doubles during the 2023-24 season, and it wouldn't be surprising if he reaches that feat again in 2024-25 given how he's started the season. Even though he's getting fewer touches on offense following the offseason addition of DeMar DeRozan, Sabonis continues to find ways to make an impact. He has six double-doubles in seven contests, averaging a robust 20.7 points and 13.4 rebounds per game.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Checks back in
Sabonis (face) has returned to Monday's game against Miami, CourtSideHeat reports.
Sabonis was spotted making his way to the locker room after taking a blow to the face, but he was absent for a only few minutes. The team could have more information on the extent of the injury after the game, but it's evidently not serious enough to keep him from the rest of Monday's clash.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Heads back to locker room Monday
Sabonis (face) went back to the locker room in the first quarter of Monday's game versus the Heat, Chris Biderman of The Sacramento Bee reports.
Sabonis took a blow to the face and left for the locker room with a towel covering his head. The big man's status will be something to monitor as it is still early in the game. Alex Len and Trey Lyles are both candidates for an increased role if Sabonis is unable to return.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Secures second triple-double
Sabonis amassed 17 points (5-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), 20 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal over 43 minutes during Saturday's 131-128 overtime loss to Toronto.
Sabonis posted his second triple-double of the young campaign, which was highlighted by a season-high 20 rebounds. He wasn't overly aggressive on offense, finishing fourth on his team in scoring behind DeMar DeRozan (33 points), De'Aaron Fox (24 points) and Malik Monk (21 points), but he continues to be one of the top-producing big men in the game across the board.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Another double-double
Sabonis finished with 15 points (5-11 FG, 5-5 FT), 14 rebounds and six assists over 33 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 123-115 victory over the Hawks.
The 15-point output was Sabonis' lowest mark of the season, but that shouldn't be overly surprising since DeMar DeRozan and De'Aaron Fox both cleared the 20-point mark. Even if the scoring figures were a bit subpar, Sabonis continues to be one of the most reliable fantasy options every time he steps on the court. He's on a streak of three straight double-doubles, averaging 19.7 points, 12.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists per contest in that span.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Efficient double-double Tuesday
Sabonis finished with 28 points (13-18 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds and four assists in 34 minutes during Tuesday's 113-96 win over the Jazz.
Sabonis led the NBA in double-doubles last season and should be one of the strongest candidates to do so again in 2024-25. He's already posted one triple-double and two double-doubles in four appearances this season, so his role as an elite two-way threat for the Kings should continue, meaning the arrival of DeMar DeRozan shouldn't affect Sabonis' overall fantasy production. Through four contests, Sabonis is averaging 24.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per contest.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Nabs double-double in win
Sabonis provided 16 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds and seven assists in 36 minutes during Monday's 111-98 victory over the Trail Blazers.
Sabonis led the club with a game-high 13 boards in the matchup. The 28-year-old has already logged a double-double and a triple-double through three regular-season outings, and he has done it all while shooting an extremely efficient 65.7 percent from the field. Moreover, the big man is shooting 55.6 percent from beyond the arc on what would be a career-high 3.0 attempts per game. Sabonis is averaging 23.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.7 steals-plus-blocks across 37.0 minutes per game.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Records triple-double in loss
Sabonis had 29 points (10-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), 12 rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal across 37 minutes during Saturday's 131-127 loss to the Lakers.
Sabonis missed out on a double-double in his first game but notched a stat line we've come to expect from him in Saturday's loss. Sabonis will be a double-double threat nightly after leading the league in the category last season. Triple-doubles will be more elusive, but he ended the 2023-24 season ranked first in that category as well.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Puts up 24 points in opener
Sabonis ended Thursday's 117-115 loss to Minnesota with 24 points (8-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-8 FT), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 38 minutes.
Sabonis had fewer rebounds than Keegan Murray, who led the team with 11 rebounds. Double-doubles are a regular occurrence for Sabonis, but he spent a lot of time outside the paint in the opener, possibly curtailing his ability to reach his typical threshold. The 24/8 line shouldn't be too concerning at this point, as he still has an enormous fantasy impact when he's a few rebounds short of a double-double.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Flirts with double-double in loss
Sabonis logged 24 points (7-14 FFG, 0-2 3Pt, 10-12 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and two steals across 27 minutes in Thursday's 113-91 loss to the Clippers.
Sabonis coughed up the ball six times in the loss, which is an unusually high number for him. Still, preseason mistakes are common and one shouldn't read much into the increase. Sabonis will be one of the most productive players in the league once again, and he'll challenge Nikola Jokic for the double-double and triple-double crowns.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Just misses out on triple-double
Sabonis tallied 29 points (11-21 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT), 16 rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Tuesday's 117-114 preseason win over the Jazz.
Sabonis continued his dominant stretch of play Tuesday, and he converted his first three-pointer of the preseason. Sabonis led the NBA in triple-doubles with 26 last season and doesn't appear to be slowing down heading into the 2024-25 campaign.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Stuffs stat sheet Sunday
Sabonis notched nine points (4-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and two blocks across 30 minutes in Sunday's 108-85 preseason loss to the Trail Blazers.
Sabonis was a double-double machine in the 2023-24 season and led the league in that category. Even though he might experience a regression in his numbers after the Kings added DeMar DeRozan to the mix in the offseason, Sabonis' status as a double-double threat every time he steps on the hardwood shouldn't change. Even if this performance wasn't his best from an efficiency perspective, Sabonis still ended one point, two rebounds and three assists away from a triple-double, which speaks volumes about his versatility on the offensive end of the court.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Double-double in Friday's tuneup
Sabonis scored 13 points (5-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-5 FT) while adding 13 rebounds, four assists and two steals in 25 minutes during Friday's 109-106 preseason loss to the Warriors.
Sacramento's starting lineup looked to be just about in midseason form, as all five players scored in double digits, but Sabonis was the only King to pull down more than six boards. The 28-year-old big set a modern NBA record with 61 straight double-doubles in 2023-24 and had an incredible 77 total in 82 regular-season games, and Sabonis appears to be ready to pick up where he left off when the current campaign tips off.

Kings' Domantas Sabonis: Grabs eight boards in 17 minutes
Sabonis recorded 11 points (5-7 FG, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and four assists across 17 minutes in Wednesday's 112-112 loss to Golden Stare.
Sabonis was well on his way to a characteristic double-double before taking a seat. Although Nikola Jokic received all the accolades, Sabonis bested him in a few key metrics last season. He led the league in double-doubles (77) and triple-doubles (26), beating out Jokic in both categories. He'll demand a bit more attention and respect after a dynamic 2023-24 campaign.
