Mahle (1-6) took the loss Wednesday against the Diamondbacks after giving up six runs on eight hits while walking none and striking out six across five innings.
Mahle was in decent shape Wednesday until the fifth inning, when Arizona scored thrice on four hits to take the lead for good. It marks Mahle's third straight outing allowing four or more runs to elevate his ERA to 6.10 through 10 starts this season. His six losses are tied with six others for the most in MLB. The 31-year-old is projected for a home rematch against the Diamondbacks next week.

Mahle (1-5) allowed five runs on 10 hits and a walk while striking out six over five innings to take the loss Friday versus the Athletics.
Mahle did a fair job until the fifth inning, when he allowed a three-run home run to Nick Kurtz and an RBI single to Henry Bolte. This marks the fifth time Mahle has allowed at least four runs this season, though this is the first time all year he's had two poor outings in a row. The 31-year-old is now at a 5.59 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 48:21 K:BB through 46.2 innings over nine starts. He's projected for a road start versus the Diamondbacks in his next outing.

Mahle gave up four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over 5.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Pirates on Sunday.
Mahle gave up solo shots to Konnor Griffin and Oneil Cruz during this start. This is the third time Mahle's given up multiple homers in an outing this season, but he's yielded no other long balls in his other five starts. Giants' Tyler Mahle: Dazzles over 5.1 innings Sunday
Mahle didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Rays, allowing four hits and one walk with five strikeouts across 5.1 shutout innings.
Mahle was in line for the victory before Ryan Walker allowed the tying run to cross in the bottom of the eighth. Sunday was Mahle's second scoreless outing in his last three starts, and all four hits he allowed to Tampa Bay were singles. After posting an ugly 7.23 ERA through his first four starts, Mahle now owns a 5.00 ERA and 34:18 K:BB across 35 innings. The right-hander should make his next start in next weekend's home series against the Pirates.

Mahle (1-4) took the loss against the Phillies on Tuesday, allowing five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out three across five innings.
Mahle yielded just one run through the first five innings of Tuesday's start, but he was pulled in the sixth after giving up back-to-back RBI doubles and was tagged for four runs in the frame. It's been an inconsistent start to the season for the veteran right-hander, who has given up two runs or fewer in three of six starts while giving up five or more runs in his other three outings. Mahle will bring a 5.87 ERA and 1.63 WHIP (over 30.2 innings) into his next start, tentatively lined up for this weekend on the road against the Rays.

Mahle (1-3) allowed three hits and two walks while striking out five over seven shutout innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.
Mahle delivered his second scoreless outing of the year, and he was dominant while going pitch-for-pitch against Shohei Ohtani. Patrick Bailey delivered the necessary support with a three-run blast in the seventh inning that allowed Mahle to ultimately earn his first win of the season. Even with this performance, Mahle has an uninspiring 5.26 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 26:14 K:BB across 25.2 innings over five starts this year. He'll need to cut down on the walks to have more repeatable success -- his current 4.9 BB/9 is his highest since the abbreviated 2020 campaign. The right-hander is projected to make his next start on the road in Philadelphia.

Giants' Tyler Mahle: Tagged for four homers Wednesday
Mahle (0-3) took the loss Wednesday against the Reds, allowing eight runs on eight hits and five walks while striking out six over four innings.
The right-hander was in trouble from the jump, serving up back-to-back homers in the first inning, including a three-run shot to Sal Stewart. Stewart took him deep again an inning later for another three-run blast, and Elly De La Cruz added Cincinnati's fourth homer of the night in the fourth to cap the damage. The outing surprisingly could have been even worse, as Mahle managed to strand runners in scoring position in multiple innings despite all the traffic. It's now the second time in his first four starts that he's allowed at least eight hits and five runs, and his season line has ballooned to a 7.23 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and 21:12 K:BB across 18.2 innings. It will be a tall task to rebound from Wednesday's performance as a difficult matchup against the Dodgers awaits Mahle next week.

Mahle took a no-decision Wednesday against the Phillies, allowing no runs on three hits and four walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out six.
Mahle scattered three singles in what was an impressive bounce-back start versus a potent Philadelphia lineup. The right-hander had given up seven runs over his first nine innings before Wednesday's performance, though the Phillies did make the hurler work while drawing four walks on the afternoon. Mahle's 4.30 ERA through 14.2 innings still has room for improvement, and he'll also carry a shaky 1.57 WHIP into an unfavorable setting his next out at hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park versus the Reds.

Three of the five runs on Mahle's line came from long balls, as Marcus Semien hit a two-run blast and Francisco Alvarez added a solo shot in the fourth inning. Mahle allowed just five homers over 86.2 innings across 16 regular-season starts last year while also maintaining a 2.18 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 66:29 K:BB. He typically doesn't have too much trouble with homers despite giving up plenty of contact in the air. The 31-year-old right-hander was coming off an excellent spring, during which he fired 10 shutout frames, but he stumbled in a stiff challenge Saturday against a fearsome Yankees lineup. Shoulder issues plagued Mahle last season with the Rangers, but he was outstanding when healthy with a 2.18 ERA and 1.13 WHIP in 16 regular-season starts. That said, his streaming appeal might be a bit limited in a tough matchup against the Mets in his next scheduled start.

Mahle allowed one hit while striking out six across four scoreless innings in Monday's 3-1 Cactus League loss to the Padres.
Mahle gave up a double in the third inning but turned in a strong outing overall, throwing 37 of his 54 pitches for strikes. Giants' Tyler Mahle: Set for spring debut Saturday
Mahle (illness) will make his Cactus League debut Saturday against the Athletics, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Mahle has been slowed early on in Giants camp by an illness, but he's been cleared for game action. The right-hander was limited to only 16 starts in 2025 with the Rangers because of shoulder issues, but he finished the season healthy before inking a one-year, $10 million contract with San Francisco over the winter.
