Tyler Kinley has made more than 25 appearances just twice in six seasons, as injuries have been a constant throughout his career. The right-hander opened last season on the 60-day IL after undergoing elbow surgery in July 2022. He was activated last August and struggled through seven appearances before returning to the injured list with elbow inflammation. Upon his return in September, Kinley was given the opportunity to close for the Rockies, converting a career-high five saves. His upper-90's 4-seamer wasn't effective (.500 BA, .875 SLG), so he'll need to regain some confidence in that secondary offering this spring. Assuming health entering 2024, Kinley should be in Colorado's mix to close again, but health and performance make him a risky bet for double-digit saves.
