Ozuna went 0-for-1 with four walks in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals.
Ozuna never crossed home plate despite reaching base four times Tuesday. It was his third straight game with a walk and his third game this season drawing at least three walks. Ozuna has now reached base 11 times over his last four games, and he's hitting .317/.500/.540 with four homers, nine RBI, 13 runs and a 23:18 BB:K in 86 plate appearances this season.

Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Back in lineup Friday
Ozuna (hip) will start at designated hitter and bat third in Friday's contest versus the Twins.
Ozuna missed the entirety of this week's series in Toronto because of hip inflammation, but he's apparently feeling better after a few days of rest. The 34-year-old has cracked three homers while putting up a 1.008 OPS in his first 15 games this season.

Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Out until Friday with inflamed hip
Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said Monday that Ozuna will be unavailable for the team's three-game series in Toronto due to hip inflammation, Barrett Sallee of 680 The Fan reports.
Ozuna was sent back to Atlanta to undergo an MRI, which showed inflammation in the hip but no other serious concerns, per Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He is considered day-to-day but will remain in Atlanta until the team returns home Friday. Bryan De La Cruz will start at designated hitter in Monday's series opener in Toronto.

Braves' Marcell Ozuna: Nursing minor leg injury
Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said that Ozuna is not in Monday's lineup versus the Blue Jays due to a minor leg injury, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Snitker is not concerned about Ozuna's injury lingering, but it's enough to keep the designated hitter out of the lineup Monday for the first time this season. Bryan De La Cruz will be the DH and bat fifth for Atlanta in the series opener.

Ozuna went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Rays.
Ozuna reduced the deficit to three runs in the eighth inning when he drove a 92-mph fastball from Edwin Uceta deep for a 425-foot solo homer to left-center field. Ozuna has logged home runs in back-to-back games and has three homers in his last six games. Over that six-game span, he's gone 10-for-25 with two walks, seven runs and six RBI.

Ozuna went 3-for-5 with a double and a two-run home run in Thursday's 4-2 extra-inning victory over the Phillies.
Ozuna doubled to left field for Atlanta's first hit of the game in the first inning, and he later crushed a two-run homer off Phillies right-hander Joe Ross to walk it off in the 11th frame following a lengthy rain delay. After beginning the season just 2-for-12, Ozuna is on a tear in April thus far, hitting .385 with two big flies, two doubles, five RBI and seven walks across 26 at-bats.

Ozuna went 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored in Friday's 10-0 win over Miami.
After doubling to plate two runs in the third inning, Ozuna had a call on the field overturned by umpire review to give him his first homer of the campaign in the seventh frame. Despite Friday marking his first long ball of 2025, Ozuna is still hitting a strong .286 with five RBI, one double, six runs scored and a whopping 13 walks through 34 plate appearances so far this year.

Ozuna went 1-for-2 with a walk and a two-run home run in Tuesday's split-squad game against the Red Sox.
The veteran slugger took Noah Davis deep in the fourth inning for his first long ball of the spring. Ozuna is heading into the final year of his current contract after Atlanta picked up his $16 million option for 2025 in November, and the 34-year-old could be in line for a big payday next winter despite his age if he puts together another strong campaign -- over the last two seasons, he boasts a .289/.364/.552 slash line with 79 homers and 204 RBI.
