  • Matt Chapman 3B | SF

Giants' Matt Chapman: Swats 11th homer

Chapman went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total RBI in Sunday's 10-4 win over the Dodgers.

Chapman's been hot to close out June, going 13-for-37 (.351) with three homers, nine RBI and 11 runs scored over his last 10 contests. He hit just .190 over his first 15 games this month. The third baseman is at a .242/.323/.414 slash line with 11 homers, 39 RBI, 55 runs scored and a career-high seven stolen bases through 82 games this year. Chapman's unlikely to continue to hit for average, but he can still make an impact if his power stays up.

  • Rays' Isaac Paredes: Finishes single short of cycle

Paredes went 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple, a double and an additional run scored Sunday against the Nationals.

Paredes entered the day with just two hits over his last 23 at-bats but broke out of it in a big way with his first three-hit game since May 21. He did all his damage off Nationals starter Patrick Corbin, going 3-for-3 against the lefty. Despite the recent slump, Paredes maintains a healthy .276/.361/.472 slash line on the season with 13 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 runs and 32 walks over 328 plate appearances.

  • DJ LeMahieu 3B | NYY

Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Halts slump with two hits

LeMahieu went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Blue Jays.

LeMahieu entered the game mired in a 6-for-42 (.143) slump but collected a couple of base hits, each of which brought in a run, while also adding just his second extra-base hit of the campaign. Despite being unable to find his footing at the plate, LeMahieu, who raised his season average to .188 thanks to Sunday's effort, has maintained a regular role in the Yankees' lineup since returning from the IL in late May due to a fractured foot.

  • Alec Bohm 3B | PHI

Phillies' Alec Bohm: Blasts 10th home run

Bohm went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Marlins.

Bohm raked in June with five home runs and 20 RBI in 24 games this month. However, Bohm was 1-for-16 over his previous four games and got back on track, blasting his 10th homer Sunday. The fifth-year breakout continues for Bohm, who now has 68 RBI this season, the third-most in MLB. The 27-year-old has been one of the most consistent third basemen in MLB, hitting .300/.350/.489 over 81 games.

  • Rafael Devers 3B | BOS

Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Slugs 18th home run

Devers went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 4-1 win over the Padres on Sunday.

Devers gave his team an early lead with his first-inning blast, his fourth homer in his last five games. The Red Sox slugger has broken out of a slump in which he hit only one home run over 15 games. Devers now has 14 extra-base hits and a 1.027 OPS in June, both leading all MLB third basemen. Overall, the 27-year-old is having another fantastic season, hitting .286/.368/.571 with 18 home runs, 45 RBI and a .939 OPS.

  • Ramon Urias 3B | BAL

Orioles' Ramon Urias: Not in Sunday's lineup

Urias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Urias started the first two games of the series but will sit for the finale Sunday amid an 0-for-17 slump. Jordan Westburg will man the hot corner while Jorge Mateo receives the start at second base.

  • Cavan Biggio 3B | LAD

Dodgers' Cavan Biggio: Exiting starting nine Sunday

Biggio is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Biggio will head to the bench after he started at third base over the first two games of the series, going 0-for-5 with two strikeouts. Chris Taylor will step in at third base in place of Biggio, who is slashing just .167/.265/.167 with a 35.3 percent strikeout rate since being acquired from the Blue Jays on June 12.

  • Reds' Santiago Espinal: Sitting in second straight game

Espinal is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Espinal will hit the bench for the second straight day after he had started in six straight games at either third base or designated hitter. With Noelvi Marte recently getting reinstated from an 80-game suspension to begin the season and with Jake Fraley and Jeimer Candelario returning to the lineup Saturday and Sunday, respectively, after multi-game absences, Espinal's opportunities are expected to become more limited moving forward.

  • Gabriel Arias 3B | CLE

Guardians' Gabriel Arias: Back to bench Sunday

Arias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

Arias started in five of the past six games while seeing action at three different positions, but he'll head to the bench in Sunday's series finale. The Guardians should continue to open up regular playing time for Arias against left-handed pitching, but his starting opportunities against right-handed pitching may be more sporadic while the Guardians have all of their regular hitters available with the exception of outfielder Will Brennan (ribs), who was recently placed on the injured list.

  • Joseph Ortiz 3B | MIL

Brewers' Joey Ortiz: Not starting Sunday

Ortiz (neck) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.

The 25-year-old is out of the lineup for the third straight game due to neck soreness, but his absence is viewed as precautionary. Ortiz's appearance as a pinch runner during Saturday's contest reinforces that sentiment. Andruw Monasterio will receive another start at the hot corner in Sunday's series finale.
