Adell isn't in the Angels' lineup for Friday's game against Seattle, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Adell has gone 0-for-18 with 10 strikeouts across his last five games, so the Angels will give him a day off to regroup Friday. Kevin Pillar will take over in right field and bat fifth.
