    Boston is rolling right now. The Terriers have won five straight games by an average of 15 points. One of those wins was a 85-58 route of Colgate. BU is doing it with offense. The Terriers ranks first in the Patriot League in offensive efficiency, two-point field goal percentage, and three-point field goal percentage. Lehigh will need to shoot well from the field because second-chance opportunities could be limited. The Mountain Hawks are the worst offensive rebounding team in the Patriot League, while Boston ranks first in defensive rebounding percentage. Lehigh won a 93-91 OT thriller on Jan. 14 but BU is a different team now. I like the Terriers to extend the win streak to six. I grabbed the ML for a half unit.

    Analysis

    Lehigh won the first meeting, 93-91 in overtime at Boston University. The Mountain Hawks were getting 4.5 points in that matchup. While the Terriors come in hot on a five-game win streak, three of those came at home and the road wins came against the Patriot's two worst teams. Look for Lehigh to take this to the wire, if not win outright.

    Analysis

    OSU has only really lost contact once this season (at Michigan), while long-serving G Bruce Thornton is a Big Ten veteran who remains one of the league’s top catalysts at 19.9 ppg, and has really hit the accelerator lately, off of 28 and 27-point efforts, respectively, vs. Virginia and Wisconsin. The latter was maybe one of the best Buckeyes efforts of the season when shooting 54% from the floor vs. the Badgers. Sparty hasn’t exactly been lighting the world lately, entering Sunday having lost three of five, and top scorer soph G Jeremy Fears Jr has been rather embattled across the past month, with his performances fluctuating almost like the results pattern for OSU.     Analysis

    The Super Bowl and Olympics are over -- what a fabulous hockey game and do think there will be value fading a handful of NHL teams when they restart but that's later. Time to focus. Usually this is when I take off as now we know who is trying. Never thought I'd play -180 against the Thunder in OKC, but they are without SGA, Jalen Williams, Alex Caruso and Ajay Mitchell. Cleveland is down no one. Not sure who scores today for the Thunder. Won't be Lu Dort (OKC's highest O/U point total is 18.5 - the Chetster). Strange backing a road moneyline favorite but time to shake things up a bit. Also in honor of ClevelandFan becoming one of our Discord moderators.

    So I may just have to come to grips that this will be a losing CBB season. Still six weeks or so to rally but clearly this isn't a favorites year. I have never played a game where all the models didn't agree but now I'm starting to think in the transfer era that models are generally worthless. And I'll have to consider this in football too going forward. I mean Indiana, and I'm talking football. Just a different world now. Glad the players have some power. Wright State leads the Horizon and absolutely should win. This is low imo. Also the home finale in Wrightville/Whoville (Dayton if don't know, which is Whoville), and we love those.
