The NHL announced on Thursday afternoon that Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville has been fined $10,000 for criticizing the officials following Chicago's Game 3 loss against Phoenix on Tuesday night.

Quenneville was livid after watching one of his best players (Marian Hossa) be taken off the ice on a stretcher following a vicious hit by Raffi Torres.

Torres has since been suspended indefinitely, but there was no penalty called on the play.

Said Quenneville after the game, "It was a brutal hit. I saw exactly what happened. It was right in front of me. How four guys missed it was hard. The refereeing tonight was a disgrace."

He was right about one thing: no penalty on that play was pretty disgraceful.
