White (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers after returning to a limited practice Friday.
White, who missed last Sunday's loss to the Broncos, didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but his limited session Friday could potentially open the door for him to return to action this weekend. White rushed 17 times for 50 yards, lost a fumble and didn't catch his only target in Sunday's 20-16 win over the Browns.
White was a workhorse on the ground but averaged just 2.9 yards per carry while Alexander Mattison racked up 60 rushing yards on just five attempts. White's fumble was returned for a touchdown by the defense in the fourth quarter. The Raiders overcame White's inefficiency and his crucial mistake to improve to 2-2, but his leash as the starter is growing shorter with each passing forgettable performance. White's averaging just 3.1 yards per carry and has yet to score a touchdown heading into a Week 5 trip to Denver.

Raiders' Zamir White: Held to 34 yards
White rushed the ball 10 times for 34 yards in Sunday's 36-22 loss to the Panthers.
White served as the Raiders' traditional lead back, but he ceded work in obvious passing situations and near the goal line. He's struggled to rush with much efficiency this season (3.2 yards per carry), leaving him without high-value touches or big-play ability. With Las Vegas in a negative game script for nearly the entirety of Sunday's loss, White's role was nonexistent for the second half and is also reason to pause before plugging him into lineups moving forward.
