  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Ruled out for Week 10

Robinson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Robinson ended up inactive as a game-time decision last week and now will miss a second straight game. Austin Ekeler filled in as the starting RB in a 27-22 win over the Giants on Sunday, but Chris Rodriguez and Jeremy McNichols got most of the work late in the game while nursing a lead, with Ekeler ultimately taking just four touches after halftime. A tighter game could work more in Ekeler's favor, and he's at least a good bet to dominate backfield snaps on passing downs. Robinson's next chance to play will be Thursday against the Eagles, four days after the matchup with Pittsburgh.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Not seen at practice

Robinson (hamstring) isn't participating in the media-access portion of practice Friday and may be a game-time decision for a matchup with the Steelers on Sunday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Robinson was a game-time decision last week, with reports Saturday night and Sunday morning suggesting he was expected to play. The Commanders then made him inactive for a 28-23 win over the Giants -- a series of events that likely will have fantasy managers approaching the situation with great caution this week. Robinson was a limited practice participant all last week and again this Wednesday and Thursday.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Another limited session

Robinson (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.

Robinson remains with a cap on his practice reps for a second week in a row due to a hamstring injury. On the first occasion this past Sunday against the Giants, he was inactive, so it remains to be seen if another absence is in the offing. In any case, Austin Ekeler, Jeremy McNichols and practice-squad member Chris Rodriguez are on hand in the event Robinson sits out again this weekend.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Limited in practice

Robinson (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.

A limited participant all last week, Robinson was listed as questionable on the final injury report and ended up inactive for a 28-23 win over the Giants on Sunday. His absence freed up a larger role for Austin Ekeler, but the Commanders also gave Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez some work, especially late in the game while trying to run out the clock with a lead. Robinson will look to upgrade to full practice participation by Friday to clear up any concern about his availability for Sunday's game against the Steelers.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Slated to practice Wednesday

Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that Robinson (hamstring) will practice Wednesday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

The extent of Robinson's participation won't be known until Washington releases its first Week 10 injury report later Wednesday, but Quinn said that the staff is "really going to push it" with the running back in advance of Sunday's game against the Steelers. Despite being listed as questionable coming out of the Commanders' final Week 9 practice last Friday, Robinson had been expected to play against the Giants, but he was a surprise inactive ahead of the team's eventual 27-22 win. Assuming Robinson navigates the upcoming week of practice without any setbacks with his hamstring, he should be ready to step back in as the Commanders' lead runner, while Austin Ekeler returns to a change-of-pace role.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Inactive in Week 9

Robinson (hamstring) is listed as inactive Sunday at the Giants.

Robinson was limited during Week 9 prep due to a hamstring injury, entering the weekend as questionable to suit up Sunday. Following a pregame warmup that didn't appear to go well, he's now confirmed to be out for the second time this season. With Robinson unavailable, Austin Ekeler likely will lead the Commanders backfield, with Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez also on hand for RB reps.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Likely inactive Sunday

Robinson (hamstring) is expected to be inactive Sunday at the Giants, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

After being limited in practice during the entirety of Week 9 prep due to a hamstring injury, Robinson entered the weekend as questionable. He then took part in a pregame warmup that apparently didn't go swimmingly, and following a lengthy discussion with the Commanders' training staff, things begin to trend toward him not suiting up. Now that it's confirmed Robinson is out for Sunday's game, the Commanders backfield likely will be paced by Austin Ekeler, while Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez will be on hand for any RB reps that linger.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Trending toward playing Sunday

Head coach Dan Quinn noted ahead of Sunday's game against the Giants that Robinson (hamstring) -- who listed as questionable -- is "doing great and ready to get rolling with everybody today," Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Per Garafolo, the Commanders are in line to work Robinson out, but at this stage it appears as though the running back is slated to be available versus New York. Either way, official confirmation of Robinson's Week 9 status will arrive when Washington's inactives are posted in advance of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Appears set to play Sunday

Robinson (hamstring), who is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, is expected to play, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Robinson dealt with a hamstring injury throughout the week and was held to a trio of limited practice sessions. Despite the hamstring issue, he appears on track to suit up and take the field in the NFC East matchup versus New York. Robinson racked up 133 yards on 17 carries against the Giants when the teams met for the first time this season back in Week 2.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Listed as questionable

Robinson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.

Robinson was a limited practice participant Wednesday through Friday, potentially setting up a game-time decision ahead of the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff this Sunday. Austin Ekeler becomes a strong fantasy play if Robinson is inactive, with Jeremy McNichols then stepping in as the No. 2 back and perhaps offering deep-league value.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Remains limited Thursday

Robinson (hamstring) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.

After tending to a knee injury for most of October that resulted in one DNP and another abbreviated outing, Robinson now is dealing with a new health concern that so far has capped his reps this week. He thus will have one more chance to get back to full participation or else potentially risk entering the weekend with a designation for Sunday's road game against the Giants. In the six contests in which he's earned at least a 40 percent snap share, Robinson has averaged 17.2 touches for 87 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring four rushing TDs.

  • Commanders' Brian Robinson: Listed with hamstring injury

Robinson was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a hamstring injury.

Robinson dealt with a knee injury the past month, missing one full game and half of another. That injury has apparently cleared up, but now he's listed with a hamstring issue, albeit one that probably isn't serious given his practice participation at the start of the week. Any limitations this Sunday against the Giants would lead to more work for Austin Ekeler and Jeremy McNichols.
